This place is awesome. Picnic benches and bathrooms nearby

Lots of activities in this area, but the best activity, imo, is no activity at all. Just sitting or lying down, feeling the sun, and the breeze, hearing the calming sounds of the ocean, letting all stress go, just letting yourself get to a totally peaceful, relaxed, meditative state.

Easy to find parking but many homeless about, had to keep checking up on my car.

This park is great for kids of all ages. There are small slides to accommodate toddlers and bigger slides for your more coordinated kids. There is one set of swings for small babies and another set of traditional swings for everyone else. A small rock climbing wall is fun to teach your kids how to climb. The center playground is covered by shade which is nice on hot days.Peak times are usually from 8am to about 12pm and then there is hardly anyone between 12-2pm after two there is an little after school rush of kids but not as bad as the morning.Another great thing about this park is that its so close to the beach. So you can walk to it before or after going to the playground.

Early in the morning there are a lot of homeless people sleeping over the beach but later in the day it becomes packed with people swimming, playing volleyball etc. Overall its a nice beach but needs a bit more clean up as the sand is 20% human trash

Nice park overlooking the boardwalk and the beach. Been a covid19 staple to sit and enjoy time with friends at a distance. Sometimes there are musicians, sometimes homeless folks screaming the lyrics. There is usually a food and beverage purveyor open but its a pandemic so you have to walk, bike or scoot to Main Street.

Amazing place to meet people or vibe out solo in a nice green space!

Great place to take little kids (once they reopen it after COVID-19) to play.

Nice park. You can walk down to it after parking above near 4th street. Beach is super accessible and theres a cafe.

There was so much parking on a cloudy Sunday. Free parking for handicap but $15 for a day. Close to the pier...just a 7 minutr walk. You can rent bikes on either side of the park. Theres a cute cafe with sand and beach chairs set up to enjoy your snacks. They closed up early with the rain. The bathroom werent that bad but no place to dry your hands and no soap. So pack some wipes or sanitizer. The toilet was nice and soft though. A playground for little ones is also close by. Theres a few benches for eating and watching life at the beach.

If there was no homeless people sleeping on the grass I would have given it 5 stars

Great place to relax hang out and people watch. There is always something interesting going on. Plenty of benches to sit on or just bring a blanket or beach chairs. Smooth grass and plenty of shade.

Okay. Its like a magic house of good energy.

Clean and nice to walk. Also there are some playgrounds for children.

One of the many parks located along the LA coast, it is quieter than nearby Santa Monica however this also means less facilities nearby. Seemed clean and tidy when I was there early evening in winter to watch the sun set.

We parked in a parking lot and walked the beach. Very pretty everywhere we looked. We didnt go in the water, but other people did.

The Dorothy Green Park was great to walk near the Pacific Ocean and see people exercising to get in shape.

Well taken care of park, clean, bike rentals available, dogs welcome, ped/bikes trails, friendly people. Come relax and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets!!

We took friends from NY to Vista Point & Dorothy Green Park on a sunny day. It was so enjoyable for a walk, but spectacular for photos!

Misleading name; not very green at all. Cant comment on the accuracy of the Dorothy bit - perhaps she was colour blind? In all seriousness, red-green colour blindness is an impediment that society really doesnt do enough to cater for so perhaps we should applaud Dorothy for her forward-thinking, inclusive name choices? Hah... just realised she probably didnt name the park herself!

We are happy to spend some time there.Could be a bit cleaner.Air is #1.

That is a wonderful park to take your kids it is safe because its gated small enough where you can see everyone perfect for toddlers great location because you can see the beach and its a restaurant right next to it if you get hungry for lunch nested in between Venice and Santa Monica for a good walk or ride your bike

Parking lot is $12 for the day

Its just a small tiny spot along the walkway of santa Monica. Its definitely a decent spot to let the kids run around while parents catch some good ol sun.

Remember to bring your sun block. There is no shade at all. Not much to do in the park. Looks beautiful, though.

We were in town visiting and had spent a lot of time in the car, so we stopped here for a stretch break. Our toddler loved the little playground! I appreciate the fact that it was fully fenced in and covered. We also enjoyed walking around a bit - great place for people watching!

There are some fine parts closer to Santa Monica but awful sections closer to Muscle beach blighted by Hobos. However, definitely worth a visit just to check out all the weirdos.
