Awesome place to go when your child is younger then 6 years old. Had a great time with my son; he was amazed by all the color objects. Nevertheless its old and the paint seems to fade, its a hidden gem to be at. Enough about the parking what do you expect, a theme park in the middle of Oakland, Of course it will be busy. Get up early or go late. Again awesome place to visit.

There are few better places to see the whole of the beach than here. It’s iconic, if you’re visiting Santa Monica it’s a must visit attraction.It’s not hugely expensive and the ride time is good considering it’s location.

A fun wheel with a great view. Get there early and be the first one on. I saw in some reviews that lines can get long, but that was not the case for my visit; there was hardly a line at all. The length of the ride was nice, not too short or too long.

Was here in February before the shutdown.Took both my of boys. We were here at night... so it was amazing to see how its different with lighting and night.

This is the iconic ride at Pacific Park which you will always see every now and then in the movie or TV series. It was an interesting experience to enjoy the coastal view high up, wish the ride could move slower though. The whole ride ended in less than 5 minutes, before you can really fully take in the view, it ended.Tips: The wheel ride opens earlier than the park, do go early and check at the ticketing counter if they are open. This will save you the waiting time.

It was a great ride to experience and see the good ol California coast. Night or day is always amazing. Get out! See the world! Theres so much wonder out there! Welcome to Los Angeles ️

The famous Santa Monica pier. I do my best to visit this spot because its one of my favorite tourist spots. I love the environment, the aura, the vibe, whatever you call it, its amazing. Go for the rides, stay for the sunset.

Absolutely love the iconic 1980s Ferris wheel backdrop from the movie Lost Boys. Amusement park and the pier itself was wonderful the Music Park itself is open different hours pertaining to the season so you will want to check. My arrival found the amusement park only open between the hours of noon till 7 p.m. which was disappointing, especially if you want to ride the ferris wheel at night. Ferris wheel cost $10 to ride the roller coaster cost $10 to ride every other ride cost between 5 and $8 to ride. (Or you can get a pass for the day thats cost approximately $30 I think) an absolute must-see though if youre in the area period. There are neighborhood performers that are performing on the pier do bring a greater element of joy and surprise as you walk along the pier itself these people work on tip show remember bring some small bills with you respectfully some of the tracks are really worth it.

I went during the day and the view was amazing! It is a very smooth ride and sometimes it stopped on the top. From there I was able to see the beach to both sides and a little bit of the Pier. You will not regret going into this ride.

This is worth the 10.00 per person to see the lights at night. I wish we had arrived sooner and we would have gotten a day pass.

This place is iconic for those who ever played GTA. Its just unbelievable!

This was a pretty wheel to look at, however I did not feel safe up there.

I am rating this low as I never got to go on the wheel & experienced disappointing customer service. They do not allow single people to ride. I said I was happy to share but they said it was my responsibility to find people to share with. Really disappointing (& embarrassing) especially as the time I visited was quiet & the wheel was running half full.

Really awesome Ferris wheel either during the night or day. There is a wait but it isnt too bad and you take a picture before going on the Ferris wheel.

AWESOME! I RODE THIS ON GTA 5 AND IT IS AMAZING

Go when its dark so you can see the all the bright lights. They have free wifi and a bunch of food to choose from. I only went on the ferris wheel but it was great! It tilts so it makes it more fun than a normal wheel. There are amusement park type games: ring toss, shoot the water on the target, etc. Theres also an arcade with old school games like street fighter and mortal Kombat 3. It gets packed so if you dont like crowds go early. Visit at least once to knock it off your bucket list.

Amazing view of the whole pier, the ocean, and the surrounding beach. This ride is a little bit pricey but definitely worth the ride as they will let you sit at the top for a while before bringing you back down.

Nice view of city and ocean, especially around sunsets. If you are afraid of heights etc., its bit creepy - hanging over the pier/water, but it moves very slow.

A ride of the Pacific Wheel is a little bit expensive, but this attraction is all simply the best thing to photo during the night at LA.
