Great little park! Clean and well cared for play areas for the kids. Big open green space to play soccer or just picnic in. Clean public restrooms. Highly recommend for an hour or two if you need to get outside and give the kids some play outdoor play time. We enjoyed our visit!

Great park to go exercise in. There might be one homeless or two, but theyre off minding their business and wont bother. Its very well managed and green. I highly recommend coming here.

The Good Samaritan shelter is next to the park. Unfortunately this park has become a place for the homeless to hang out. 20 years ago, the park was nice, I took my young children to play there, but now I dont think I would go there. It doesnt feel safe, especially at night. Update: Buena Vista Park is being renovated, they put in a new playground, it looks really nice, with new swings and slides. They are putting in new plants and flowers too. They need to maintain a no vagrancy rule if they want to keep the park safe for the children.

Santa Marias oldest city park and long-time home of the Camp Fire Cabin is ready for a new century with a fantastic remodel. With new 1/2 courts, tetherball, and playground equipment, I hope the next 100 years are kinder to this park than the last 30 have been.

Its a cool place to relax and BBQ, many locals frequent this park just be careful with the park rangers they seem to harass people there

This park is currently under construction for new improvements scheduled to be completed in February 2018

It is very sad that they are tearing this park out and replacing it with a drain ditch I see no value on the street going up its only going down Im very upset with the fact that my children can all not play there when they used to be able to.
