I visited Liquid Light Glass on a getaway trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico. I had so much fun watching them make vases and beautiful glass chili peppers! They are so welcoming and the studio is filled with gorgeous art that can be purchased. I highly recommend this fun experience!
My wife and I took the paperweight class at Liquid Light Glass while vacationing in Santa Fe. It was an amazing experience!! Cia and Al were wonderful instructors and helped every step of the way.Aside from the class, the glass art that is available for purchase is beautiful. If youre in the area, definitely stop by for a class or for shopping. You wont regret it.
One of Santa Fes hidden treasures. Elodies glass art mastery is superb. And Jeannine is a Master Gardener! Life is an education, and they are Master teachers. And two of my best friends.
We signed up for the Glass Experience class on a bit of a whim looking for something different to do on a recent Santa Fe trip. Wow! Minds blown. Our artist instructor Cia was amazing: skilled enough to make it seem effortless, excellent instructor, and wonderfully personable. The experience itself was truly awesome. The look and feel of the glass was amazing and a great experience.
Beautiful work. Nice, nice people. Wish we had time to take their glass blowing class.
We took the class here and made paper weights, wine glasses, and glass flowers. It was so much fun! Theyll ship your pieces to you if you arent staying in Santa Fe long enough for them to anneal. We had a great time! Thank you!
Interesting place. Got to watch them now glas
Husband & I took the private class (~$300 for the two of us) which included 1.5 hour teaching and we got to take our handmade paperweight, flower & glass. Class was very knowledgeable and all the staff was very friendly. Great experience, worth every penny.
Went for the paperweight class. What an awesome experience! Jeanine and Al were very fun and informative. Cant wait to bring my kids back to partake! This is a must do when in Santa Fe!
The artist here is fantastic. I bought the glass piece she was blowing while I watched and she described the process. It arrived yesterday and is fantastic. She even signed it.
Pretty cool place, they even let you sit and watch them make pieces! Super neat!
We took a 2 hour glass blowing experience with Al - he was fantastic! Informative and witty - this was the highlight of our Santa Fe trip!!!
Paperweight class and glass making experience was awesome
So glad we decided to visit. We got to watch Elodie (the owner) and Cia create a beautiful vase. The process is fascinating and they are more than happy to answer any questions. There is a small gallery in which are displayed gorgeous glass artwork for sale.
Gorgeous gem of a shop filled with stunning, high quality glass work priced to acquire at any income level; and as if thats not enough, you can stay and watch the artists work in the open studio! The full experience.
Extremely superb designs with glass. I could able to watch a session he gives to the students. It was really good...
Elodie Holmes and her staff are a delight. They make the best glass art in Santa Fe!
My mother and I did the Paperweight class. It was so fun! We got to choose from 2 styles of paperweight and lots of colors of glass. There were 2 knowledgeable employees that guided everyone through the process and helped us step-by-step. 6 people did the class when I was there. One person would work one-on-one with the first employee, and when they were halfway done, finish with the other employee. This way 2 people could receive instruction and work at a time. This is a must-do when visiting Santa Fe! It is worth the price, and I highly recommend it!They have a bathroom and hot/cold water dispenser for your convenience.
Went for a glass blowing class and the instructors at this place are simply superb. Glass blowing is not easy as it involves very high heat and you cannot make a mistake. The two people who instructed or group made into a no fail experience and we made some really beautiful hand blown paper weights that liquid Light Glass actually can mail to you at your request for a fee after they fire it. If youre visiting Santa Fe dont miss this stop even if you think that you will never do glass blowing. Its a great experience and the gallery attached to the workshop is simply gorgeous.
Liquid Light glass is an absolutely the best glass studio in Santa Fe. Their work is uniquely original and astonishingly beautiful. To see how they work and blow glass is a real treat. I have several of their functional pieces that I enjoy using every day. Someday, I hope to take one of their classes.
Fun place to go and make a paper weight!
The beginners glass blowing workshop was fun!

We took a glass paperweight class and it was an amazing experience. Al and Sabina were very patient and thorough walking us thru the steps and process that was not just operational but inspirational. We were ecstatic when we received our final products.
Wonderful people and exquisite work priced for all to afford something. Glass blowing exhibition and other wonderful shops and a cafe in the same plaza. A must see.
