Apparently having matboards cut was too great a feat for this framing shop. After I brought the frames and images in they took measurements and told me that was enough. Not so much... after they cut the holes wrong, then I came to pick up the correct ones only to spend 15 minutes with them having misplaced my photograph. And the boards are still the wrong size after being “corrected”. Thanks for nothing and for not once apologizing to me.

I have been searching for a good framing shop since my last experience at Hobby Lobby with an original piece. Im a researcher so I have been reading a lot of reviews and looking around at options. So far they seem to be the best, hands down. I have 5 pieces to get framed and one is a rare piece and the other four are sentimentally important. Im going to Justins this Friday and drop them off. I plan to come back and update this review according to the results in a few weeks!Well... I went in and the folks there are really nice and helpful. But even with their 20% discount, their prices are for the independently wealthy. My quote was in the 4 figures. I got my 5 pieces framed at Aaron brothers for 1/3rd of their final quote with the same degree of care and quality of work. Your choice.My response to Justin:Educate me? That’s fresh. I’m puzzled over how a tradesman is going to educate someone with 28 years of education and 4 university degrees. Mercedes? More like Maybach. By the way I drive a Mercedes and I can afford anything you have in your warehouse. I just choose to be wise with my money and not hand it over to just anyone that pretends to peddle class. Based on your pompous reply, and your lack of service recovery, I reduced my review to a more honest one star. Cheers!

Justin is a world class framer. My wife and I have known and used him for years and frankly there is no better framer we have found anywhere. He and his staff are true artists, their level of professionalism is at the top and their attention to detail and creativity are ever present. I would wholeheartedly recommend them across the board.

For five years, Justin’s has expertly framed all our Santa Fe Wine & Chile featured art posters expertly. Friendly, efficient service and the pricing can’t be beat.

If you need something framed go elsewhere. Nobody is motivated at this location. Lunch is the most important thing at JFD.

Justins Frame Designs was the ONLY framer in Santa Fe that could do wet mounting of paper on board for a major gallery show in town.
