Unlike many of the touristy art shops on canyon road, this is a real gallery with a changing program and interesting roster of artists. They understand art and think outside the box. Great space and interesting collection of Japanese samurai armour, bridging art east to west, ancient to modern.

One of the best galleries in Santa Fe, in my opinion. Really well-curated contemporary art by current artists and a great collection of Japanese antiquities like battle armor and such - highly recommended. Its also in a great little stretch of restaurants and shops on Palace.

On 4/27, we visited the Ellsworth Gallery. Personally, I was not much into the contemporary art that was exhibited, but the collection of historical Samurai Arts was amazing. But even more impressive was Hallies ability to answer all of our historical questions. She exuded passion and knowledge regarding all the works and collectibles in the gallery. I learned so much today. She made our visit so pleasant.
