What a fun place! Not sure why it took me this long to try it since they opened a while ago. These guys have a obstacle course (neon ninja course), dodgeball (dodge attack), climb zone and nerf battle area. Several options to entertain kids and tire them out.My 5yo loved it and had a blast. Her favorite area was the obstacle course.Staff was super friendly and attentive. Place was clean and organized. Totally recommend. We were there during a birthday party and kids were still able to play. The way they set things is great, while a party group is in one area the other areas are open for all the other kids. You will need to fill a waiver and get their socks on the first time you go. After that just remember to bring your socks back.
A little steep on price but this place is fun. Very well staffed which may account for the price. Good for ages 5-12 or so, and maybe adults for their Dodge Attack game. Great for a rainy day. The only thing this place was missing when we went there was customers. Lets support locally owned indoor activities, something that Santa Cruz has always been lacking.
TL;DR: Great place for a kids Birthday party, but its gonna cost ya.This place clearly knows its clientele. The entire place is a playground for little ones. They have a small rock climbing wall (short enough that a tall adult could probably hop up and slap the top), a Nerf battle ground, and an obstacle course! The entire place is lit by black light which creates a unique atmosphere for the kids to run around in.They provide socks with rubber grips - that of course glow in the black light - as well as offer face painting that also glows.I attended a birthday party here and the staff is great about handling the party. They move kids from one play zone to another efficiently and safely. They are clearly monitoring both the kids and the time. This party was scheduled from 11am to 1pm and it started and ended at exactly those times. When it was time for cake, the staff ushered the kids to the tables and immediately fell into the role of wait staff, serving food and drinks and eventually bussing the table. As someone who prefers to avoid disposable flatware, I was glad to see the plates, cups, utensils, and pitchers were all plastic, reusable, and clean. As I mentioned, this place is clearly meant for younger kids as the play zones are ideal for children ages 5 - 12, and further, clearly meant for parties. They have these rolling racks for shoes and presents to make organization for multiple parties easier. It looked to me that they could host up to 3 separate parties at once as they had 2 eating zones and the play zones were clearly separated by nets, thus keeping everything contained. As a parent I love the idea that I could pay a staff, make a reservation, and then sit back and let the party happen. It really seems like a stress free way of doing things that still ensures the kids have fun! I didnt throw the party, so I dont know how much this costs, but the parent who hosted made the comment that it wasnt cheap. I suspect a quick visit to the website can give you the cost.Overall, I was impressed. The place was clean, organized, and hosted a group of approx. 10 kids ages 8 - 9 without breaking a sweat.
My friends go there it looks pretty great
Cool with the lights and all, but a little expensive
Not fun if your a party of fourteen year olds
