If you are looking for a great and fun way to tour the city of San Francisco than look no further than Segway SF Bay. Charlie and his team are so welcoming and will make sure you have a fantastic experience. You shouldnt worry if this is your first time on a Segway. They will make sure you learn all you need to know to have an amazing day! I took my family visiting from Colorado and was able to give them a great tour of Lands End, GG Park and all parts in between. Thanks again Charlie!

BUYERS BEWARE: I left with a ringworm infection all over my scalp after wearing one of their helmets. I did a tour September 11th and unfortunately didnt think twice when I was handed a helmet without any liner. Since waking up Saturday morning with this infection, Ive had to track down already 2 doctors as well as throw away multiple personal items and thoroughly wash everything my head touches until this infection clears up... AKA I got more than I bargained for. Ive spoken with one of the owners to notify them and he has refunded me. This stuff is extremely contagious and its not fun!

SB Buggie team especially Kenny provided us with a great Buggie experience. The staff went over the instructions, in a clear and precise manner. They showed us where we could and could not go and provided us with an awesome buggies that we enjoyed driving around town for two hours. These little buggies can go fast up to 50mph and even go up hills!!We had a great experience and everywhere you drove people would smile, wave, and take pictures of you driving around town in these fun little mobiles. I would do this again in a heartbeat!

SB buggies is a MUST if in Santa Barbara. I was visiting my best friend, and we decided to check it out. We rented one together for two hours and had the best time. It was my favorite thing we did the whole trip! We spent most of our time driving along the water, and it was absolutely amazing. The buggies themselves were easy to drive. It felt a little strange at first, but after 5 minutes we were totally confident. All the employees were so helpful as well. We spent some time afterwards talking with who Im guessing is the owner, and he was so kind and genuine. I wish we wouldve had more time to go back and do it again! Thank you to SB Buggies for allowing us to have this amazing experience. If your reading this review and debating if its something you should do, do yourself a favor and make a reservation now. You wont regret it!

Kenny the store front manager was very accommodating, so the first part of our venture with SB Buggies was great.After we got in the buggies and started to cruise around Santa Barbara, we hit scenic spots with the air rushing on our face, a very pleasurable sensation, and the ride was a blast so the second part of our journey was as great.Overall the whole experience was positive .

Amazing experience! Well worth the money. The perfect way to get to see all of Santa Barbara. You may feel silly riding these, but the second we got in, we had no regrets. 100% recommend.The location is a bit sketchy. It’s basically a tent on the side of the road which made us nervous. But it clearly didn’t impact our experience. Do it! So worth it!

SB Buggie is absolutely incredible! I rented all 11 of their buggies for a private party and we had a blast! Mike, one of the owners, and his faithful pup (adorable) led us in a massive caravan through all of the best sights in SB. We were like our own parade and folks around town loved. Our group dressed up in Mario Kart themed costumes complete with balloons (lives) tied to the back of our buggies. People loved the theme. I havent smiled non-stop for two consecutive hours like I did riding with SB Buggie. Its safe and feels adventurous. The wind running through your hair is exhilarating! Definitely an adrenaline rush! Having rode the Land Shark and the SB Trolley Car, I can easily attest that SB Buggie is hands down the BEST way to explore Santa Barbara! And dont just think this is a tourist activity because my entire party was made up of locals and native Santa Barbarans and everyone LOVED it! Thank you for a great ride SB Buggie!

My six-year-old son has had a blast each and every time we have visited for a rental/excursion. Garbage unsafe rentals that get driven on roads that are unsafe due to speed limitation and inability to brake. Show up and rent one and you can look like the idiot tourist spewing way beyond acceptable levels of smog per size of vehicle. I hope the city shuts them down before someone dies.

Great customer service

We had a great experience at SB Buggy rentals. It was seriously a blast. Were from Ventura and are pretty familiar with SB... or so we thought. It was great to get the scenic tour and view all of the beautiful panoramic coast. The staff was relaxed and made sure we were comfortable in the buggy before going to do our own thing. The directions were clear and made sense. We didnt need to use gps. It was affordable- we used a Groupon.Tips: leave all belongings besides ID and a card in your car beforehand. There isnt space on the buggies to store your items.Have fun!
