Beautiful theatre inside Santa Barbara Junior High, equipped with spacious rows of stadium style seating.

Gorgeous theatre housed in a local middle school. The architecture is amazing and the community has done a great job with making that theatre feel anything but old. Weve gone to beautiful concerts there and parking wasnt too bad. California doesnt have a whole lot of history or architecture and its a pride for all when you get to be graced by it.

Beautiful theater. Parking is tight, their lot is small and narrow especially if you drive a mid - large size SUV or truck. The theater itself is beautiful, intimate setting for lical plays and musical performances. Good acoustics. Seating is comfortable with decent leg room. Lobby is very nicely decorated and staff is friendly. Great venue for small productions!

The Marjorie Luke is a gem in Santa Barbaras collection of theaters. We have mostly attended for the Viva El Arte series which brings great international talent to the city. But many local school presentations can be seen here as well.I personally knew Mrs. Luke and know she would be proud and happy here!

Went to a wonderful recital for SB Dance Arts at the Luke. Its a beautiful theater with ample amenities and leg space. Super wonderful staff, amazing decorations, and wonderful lights and sound. Single and most minor of cons is that the seats, though padded, are thinly padded and wood rimmed. People with shorter legs or who required a softer seat should think about bringing a small pad. They may have some, but that is speculation on my part.

We went on Dec 21 to watch nutcracker, first time in this theatre, loved it, so pretty inside.

Small local venue located @ Santa Barbara jr high school.My daughter had a dance recital there about a month ago.Very nice and quaint perfect for small show . The kids loved it !!
