Beautiful theatre and brilliant production. We have watched a couple of shows there when visiting family in Santa Barbara. Loved the atmosphere and the productions are to a brilliant standard.

Great teather, most if not all of the seats have a great view!

I went to the New Vic Theatre, a totally redone version of an old downtown building with lots of history. What a pleasure! Each comfortable seat had a great view of the stage and is placed so that each row is low enough that peoples heads dont block your view. The lecture was excellent and the sound quality good enough to hear the speaker. Ill be back!

Handsomely redecorated, the low key new theater makes the experience a couple of notches better than it was at the old ensemble theater. Its a beautiful venue. The New Vic is well located near downtown Santa Barbara, with multiple restaurants nearby making it a good theatrical evening out in Santa Barbara. The choice of plays is generally more substantial than those playing at the Granada.The cast and acting is certainly not up to Broadway standards, but this particular play (Everything Illuminated) picked up after the intermission, before which I nearly fell asleep. It is about search for an old Ukranian woman who saved the main characters Jewish grandfather during the Holocaust. The main theme was moving, especially, a soliloquy by the old man. Two other subplots were virtually unintelligible to me.

Great little theatre. Its hard to imagine there is a bad seat in the house. Its a fairly small theatre but that gives it a nice intimate quality. It is very nicely renovated. There is a small patio where you could enjoy some refreshments prior to the show but not a lot of seating. The theatre itself is in a great location, no lack of food or drink near by.

Great Little Theater. There isnt a bad seat in the house. Cant wait to go again. There are plenty of places in the area to grab a drink or something to eat beforehand. which I would do because the selection at the theater is minimal. There is a little outdoor patio area but it is quite small.

The actors conveyed such intensity and projected third craft superbly to us. We are still talking about the play. Season ticket holders for life!

Very nice venue, the play was very good and the ensamble actors we very good and enjoyable.

A lovely and intimate theatre for its size with poignant plays.

The show was a real feel good. My friend, Jenny Sullivan Directed. My friend Bill Brochtrup was splendid in the show as was the entire cast. Dont miss seeing it.

A modern and clean theater. I went to see Macbeth and had a wonderful experience. The accommodations were superb and the show was amazing.

Great venue and company!

The theatre itself is very nice, although parking can be difficult to find. Although the actors and set were great, the play we watched was a little boring, repetitive, and lacked a strong plot. I probably wouldnt see another play from them again, but that could just be me.

I saw City of Conversation by the Ensemble Theatre Company in February 2018. Great show, nice venue in a good location, definitely recommend!
