Dope park

Kiwanis Barrier Free Park needs some TLC. You got homeless folks sleeping there and moronic gang tagging on the walls. Definitely watch your little ones when the play on the wooden ship its highly possible they might end up with a splinter.

I loved this park!! Very quiet and peaceful. Its also a good time to go when its partly cloudy and windy because everything is fresh and that earthly like smell is just relaxing, of course if your a out door person.

Would recommend this park if youre into sports like soccer, basketball,football, and baseball and they also have playgrounds including a pond.

Nice calm place for walking dogs and relaxing with the family

Limited parking is an issue. Also no restrooms. Its connected to another park, so you have to walk a ways to use the restroom. Not convenient for little ones or elderly. Otherwise, its a cute little park for short visits. Went there for a baby shower. The seating area for rent is very nice, with extra seating all the way around the shaded covered patio.

This place is closed

This place is for kids. It is a playground not intended for adults. If you are here as an adult with no child, you will have the cops called on you. So use caution. Regardless this place is located at Thornton park. It is a nice safe walk or jog if you happen to be in the neighborhood.

I like the basketball court found here. Its usually not in use. There is also a large playground here for kids to play. This playground is located within Carl Thornton Park. Its surrounded by a fence and I often see shady characters roaming or hanging around this area so be careful.

Its ok in the morning when theres no shady characters hanging around.

Great place to go for a walk. Youll see an abundance of ducks not only in the pond but all over the park. They arent afraid of people just as long as you give them space! Enjoy a peaceful stroll through this wonderful park ️
