Came here with my friend and had a great time. We ordered a bottle of Syrah which was perfect! Paired well with 4 cheeses and the charcuterie board. The service was quick and efficient. There is so much space in this place and many seating options. Its beautiful and clean but definitely be prepared to spend money.

Very cool venue! The staff was friendly and anywhere you stand you have a great view of the stage. Nice little touch...the bar serves complimentary ice water for the guests. The only reason they didnt get a 5 rating is because the parking was horrible. They dont have a parking structure for guests, and all the streets around the area are 2 hour parking spaces. We parked by Food4Less down the street and risked getting towed.

I LOVED going to The Yost Theater back when White Rabbit Group would host HAVOC Thursdays. It was AMAZING. Would highly recommend.

Great theater, I read about the upgrades that the theater did just fantastic I was upstairs on the VIP balcony the view was perfect since its such a small venue. In the past the theater wasnt so appealing to me its definitely now on my radar great job Yost Theater.

Great venue with a very intimate space. The venue itself was clean and had great overall atmosphere. Located in a main shopping/pedestrian friendly area which makes waiting for performances/events super easy. 2hr parking in front of venue but best to park down the road in one of the many parking structures located around to ensure you dont get a ticket for over staying in the lot.

All the people working here were nice and friendly. i had to get my ticket from will call and got the help i needed. bathroom and venue were clean. NICE VENUE! GREAT ATMOSPHERE!

Cool theater. We saw Peter Murphy from Bauhaus play last week and it was a great show. Every working there is awesome. Bartenders didnt leave you waiting and made good drinks. Sound system didnt leave us deaf, it was on point. We chatted with some of the guys that set up the show and they were really cool dudes. Same guys we ran into at an Iron Maiden show 9 years ago. Good times.

Damn this is the perfect intimate size venue for my liking.Looks like a huge theater from the outside with the large display but its actually small. Sound was on point. Drinks were close by and restrooms didnt suck. Ill come back.

The sound sucked. Everything else was totally great. Security.....drinks....all on point znd correct. Place needs 8 dual 18s and more amps and lay the 18s across the stage not bunched up. Give it dynamics. Not a hard equation.

You cant charge $40 for tickets and then have brain dead apes as sound engineers. At one point, the band was all muted except for the singer. Unbelievable. AVOID THIS VENUE!

The place itself is a historic landmark. I like the graff. On the side of it, painted as a gift for our city from our sister city Osaka in Japan

I purchased the VIP seats and when I arrived the seats where all taken. The staff told me its first come first serve. When pointed out that non VIP holders where in the seats I was instructed to asked to move myself. DONT BOTHER WITH THE VIP JUST SEAT IN THEM.

Went to see Blaqk Audio from the VIP area= LEGITNESS!!!Pay the extra for a MUCH BETTER experience.

Nice theater, hard to find parking

An amazing venue to play at, has changed a lot since I been there a year and a half ago and they have friendly staff and good security and with Santa Ana Police Department patrolling the area is really good and friendly officers too.

The Yost Theater was nice, but not wasnt any help for Disabled that purchase VIP tickets for the balcony. No elevator to assist need to use stairs which is not to cool. Semper Fi Disabled Vietnam Veteran.

Sound was good. Band was great. ( JD McPherson) .Beer selection was horrible and what they had tasted like it was sitting around in a warm storeroom for a few years. The club itself is nice.

Great venue. I was quite surprised with the acoustics in this venue. Sound was loud and amazing! Will definitely be seeing more shows here! Located near plenty of eateries and shops. Nightlife in the area seemed to be going all night!

Went to see hard core punk band from Mexico. Long wait time to get in. Expected to be crowded inside. However it was just perfect amount of people. Lay out of the floor is great for people who want to go in the pit and those who just want to observe from a near area. Has a lounge for people to enjoy some snacks and relax. Great place

Only reason I give this place 2 stars is because we (wife & I) went to a blasters gig here and it is a great venue if your not handicapped. My wife is disabled and the ramps leading to where the gigs are held are not only quite steep but quite slippery. With that being said everytime my wife needed to use the facilities I had to assist her even though their is railing its still not safe. When I purchased the tickets I had notified them of my wifes special needs but they still didnt accommodate her. Like I said if you are not disabled in any way this place is great but caution if you are a person with special needs.

It a very good place to go have ever fun with your friend music is good place is not to bad but the securities are a little up tight they seem to kick people out for very little reason for the price of admission sometimes is a little high for just to be asked to leave. I Havent been asked to leave personally but Ive seen it happen to often to my friends. So if your planning to go there just try to ovoid any contact with security.

I really liked the show I saw here. It was a large multiple band show, and we went to the 3 different stages to catch who we w interested in. I really enjoyed everything about the location. Would definitely go back if a band was playing there.

This theater-turned-club is a decent place to spend a night if you’re looking for a night out. I came here for their Independence Day weekend and had a good time with the music, but some of the staff are downright rude.Don’t get me wrong, some (most?) of the staff are very kind and are more than happy to help you with a smile, but a rotten apple can spoil the bunch. One of the bartenders I interacted with refused to give me a cup of just ice because my friend was breaking out in hives for fear that we were going to pour our own liquor from a flask. We had been buying drinks all night so there was no reason to suspect this. Another bartender was happy to help my friend out.The security staff are almost all rude. I get it, they have a job to do and have to play a persona. However, they really kill the mood when they walk around with a grumpy face pushing patrons out of their way. Additionally, when it was 1:45am (scheduled to end at 2:00am) they basically told the DJs to shut off their music very promptly without warning to give them time to wrap it up. Just cut the music and then they started telling people “get out.”And then when we left the building and were on public property and sidewalks, they kept telling people to go home like they had any right to tell us what we could and could not do on public property. Get off your power trip. Even the cops were just standing by and didn’t tell people to move like they did.Would I come back? Sure, but I can imagine their staff putting off patrons from returning with a sour taste.

I see a lot of bad reviews for this spot, but my experience the night of 6/23/16 was nothing short of excellent. I got there around 9:15 and it only took 5 minutes to get through the line. The staff (security & bartenders) were great. The sound system was on par, and overall cleanliness of the joint was fine.. And if you get hungry, try the burger : ). All-in-all would return gladly. Good job, Yost!

I like this place. Nice inside and great bartenders. Security can be tough, but thats only if Youre trouble anyways. Never really had a problem

This is where Hillsong Church Orange County is located. Services are at 10am and 6pm. If youre in the area please visit. You will learn Gods word and they have an awesome worship team. We are a very friendly church.

Thought Id give this venue a second try some years later, dont think Ill go to any shows here unless some major reconfiguration goes on. Same issues: awful floor plan, sub par audio quality, filled past capacity. Floor plan wouldnt be as bad if they didnt over sale the shows. Security and staff we stearn, but polite.

Worst venue Ive been to. Very disorganized staff. All the lines were mixed. Apparently if you buy your tickets at the door you get let in way faster than if you buy your tickets ahead of time. They frisk you like your going to visit somebody in jail. Not that serious. Drinks are way too expensive.

Ronnie Montrose Remembered event was wild. It went all night. Sound wasnt great, drinks were pricey. Cant see spending that much for plastic cups. Although, I get it considering the crowd was more mature. Think about it. Door people need to smile more.

Its just not my scene...it has an old feel, which is likely very appealing to a lot of people. Im not one of them. Perhaps thats my way of protesting the mob of alt-lifestyles.

Dyphekta opened here for DJ mustard. Super swanky place. Couches upstairs and in bottle service areas and big outside area. Wasnt too stuffy ya know?

Hillsong OC meets here Sundays 10:00am & 6pm venue holds a lot of people, great acoustics, Historic District, restraunts and more. Pay for parking is reasonable.

Watch your purchases and bank statement. They add a tip regardless if you didnt leave tip with card. I paid $3 with my card for a water bottle with no tip and then I week later my bank statement said I bought something for $10. I didnt buy anything there but a bottled water and I had left 2 dollars in cash tip.

Rating matches how hit or miss the weekend nights are. Either you cant get in or you can and theres only 2 people on the dance floor. Good place for house music, correction only place for house music in the OC.

I have both performed here and watched performances both experiences were fantastic. The dressing room is very small.

Attended my first-ever circuit party here. Sweet venue with a sense of history behind it.

Horribly organized. I left my credit card there and was told multiple times that they would have the bar call me and tell me when to pick it up. What a joke. I finally had to show up and get it. I live over an hour away. Never going back.

I like their line ups BUT i hate how its friggin crowded in there! Getting in takes forever unless youre vip. The main entrance to the dance floor is dumb because you have to walk all the way toward the front of the stage to get in (which is an issue if the DJ is already there). Drinks took forever to get.... ugh

This place is horrible. Its dirty and smells like an expired can of 3 year old sardines. The staff are the most disrespectful people Ive ever delt with. If you need to puke just let it go, Im sure theyll understand.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE !!I went to the yost theatre for the first time & definitely my LAST !! Ok first of all me and my friend were so excited to see BORGORE .. It was a girls night out for us .. Weve had a pretty stressful month so this way our night to have Fun. We were completely caught off guard when the female security looks at us as were standing in line and said. You need to be wearing pants I looked around and seen plenty of girls wearing short shorts ! So I literally pointed at the girl she was about to search and said you just let her in & she has shorts on? I guess mine were too short for her liking .. Im thinking omg is this foreal? I felt like something from high school .. Dress code for girls at a night club ?? How lame !!! They let us in because i made a huge deal which was really annoying to me !! My last complaint would be, they literally dont care about packed it is .. Theyll keep letting ppl inside for their benefit .. It was so packed nobody could even DANCE everyone was PRETTTY much elbowing each other it looked like something crazy was going to happen .. like a fight, we left early and never going back

I went to the waka flocka concert this past saturday and my friends and i had a great time, except for when it came to entering they said the concert would start at 10, but we didnt get in until 11:30, but other than that it was great

Kicked out my budies in less then 5 min, refused to give me my money back. Place was dirty everywhere it smelt like piss and I saw soo many kids with vodca in water bottles, and the place reaked of weed one of the security people where smoking in side ran from me to some back room when I asked for a hit, all in all the worst place I been, this not a club this a wanna be club, sound system sucked too sounded blown and fuzzy... Ironically the women in the club where lame to, we partied at the taco truck out front saw hotter women, got smoked. Id say save your self $20 and party out front the club

One thing I like about The Yoast Theater is that you can actually take your drinks outside and chill if it gets too hot inside. And trust, you will want to get some air outside since it gets so stuffy inside. The drinks here are strong. Not gonna lie, on my first visit here when I went to go watch John OCallohan perfom, I dont remember anything. Seriously. I think I remember jumping up and down singing along to one song and the rest is pretty much a blank. And Im a tank too. The drinks are a bit pricey though, so thats a bummer. The bartenders are awesome though. Get on a guestlist so you dont have to pay before 10:30. Its $20 after that.
