Unbelievable experience. The launch is amazing then you get this incredible view as you go over the top. Coasters like this is why Cedar Point is world class.

The most exhilarating 60 seconds of your life can be had on Top Thrill Dragster. Being rocketed from a stand still to 120mph is indescribable. You fire off so fast that you will have to grab your mask to prevent it from leaving your face. You will travel 420 ft into the sky where you make a nice slow round over the top, giving you enough time to see for miles in all directions and experience a little gasp of joy before plummeting back down 400 ft to cross the finish line.Covid Update:. You will need an access pass to ride Top Thrill Dragster. Go to the entrance of the ride as soon as you enter the park for your ride pass and time. Passes range from open until 4pm. A second round of passes are handed out at 3:30pm for ride times until park closure.

Top Thrill Dragster is by far my most favorite ride here. The acceleration gets me pumped every time. Arms up are a must! The theme is great, the sound effects are nice, and the scenery is beautiful.

Super fast, super high roller coaster!Amazing ride! From 0 to 121 mph in the blink of an eye. I can’t believe this is a real ride. I have never felt anything like it. I know this ride has a lot of issues so you’re best bet it to get this done wale in the day. Highly recommend this ride for anyone with a need for speed. I have never felt more alive than the moment I got off this coaster. Yay!!

The ride though looks menacing is actually very smooth. I felt very safe though the speed is 120 mph. Hats off to the engineers. Actually the oldest ride in the park the blue something was really very scary as it was jerky and unstable. I felt that I might fall off anytime and actually had a adrenaline rush because of the fear.But once you do the top thrill you can now do anyride. I would recommend a newbie to complete this and he can now do any ride in the world. The fear is gone.

Fantastic. But its over before you realize what happened. The launch is spectacular. Nothing like it.

Exhilarating, adrenaline pumping, one-of-a-kind ride. I think my heart stopped before launch, but I was pumped after ride! Loved it.

This ride is remarkable to ride compared to standard coasters. The problem as always is mechanical failure constantly

It went down for repairs and everyone had to unload from the coasters, we had to leave the line after 2 hours to make it to the next line with a ride access pass.Only 4 rollercoasters need an access pass to get in line (helps social distancing, and the wait times are less than 2 hours, before wait times for these popular coasters was upto 6 hours.)Dragster was fixed and running in less than an hour.

This is the best coaster ever!! I had never been on a ride like this. Its like youre a bullet being shot! The force of this ride right from the beginning is intense and thrilling! Knowing you may or may not make it the whole way to the top is exciting. The wait was long and they even closed the ride down for a safety check but we still waited. It wasnt the worst line though, we waited 45 minutes but so glad we did! Well worth the wait!

Most exciting ride I have ever been on. Not for the faint of heart or easily upset stomachs. Although my ten year old daughter was scared to death of it she rode it and was amazed. Must be a real thrill seeker for this ride!

Where do I start? The Top Thrill Dragster is a must try, sure it’s extremely scary and I hated it for awhile after riding, but after I stopped shaking I couldn’t help but feel accomplished for going on such a huge ride.I was terrified of roller coasters for a long time, when I was little I would only ever stay in camp snoopy and planet snoopy, two kiddie areas of Cedar Point, all day. The biggest roller coaster I would go on was the Wood Stock train and even that ride took a ton of guts for me to even look at. As I grew up I couldn’t help but feel that I was missing out on the major thrills of the park, and I was.Over the years I slowly started trying small roller coasters, like The Blue Streak, Gemini and the Iron Dragon, and in the summer of 2019 I finally mustered up enough courage to try the big kid rides. I rode The Gate Keeper, The Rougarou, The Magnum 200 XL, and of course The Top Thrill Dragster. I was so proud of myself for trying these rides and The Rougarou has actually become my favorite roller coaster in Cedar Point so far.But, like I said a while back, I hated The Top Thrill Dragster for a while but eventually I found out I liked it. My pride took over and I couldn’t be happier with myself. Now I love roller coasters and I cannot wait to head back to Cedar Point, like we do every year, and face every ride that I can!

Its a must-do at least once, and then again once in a while. In terms of repeatability, Cedar Point has a bunch of coasters that are more fun, last longer, and are a better use of your time waiting in line.

This is one of the tallest, fastest, most exciting roller coasters in the world. I have riden this ride dozens of times over the years, and waited for hours in line when it first opened. I always look forward to riding this when I visit the park, which I will be doing next week so I am super excited. This is one of the many amazing rides at the park that you should tide.

This ride gets a perfect 5 out of 5 stars for me. Could Dragster be a longer ride? Sure. Do I care that its a short ride? Not at all.The pure adrenaline rush you get on this ride is absolutely amazing. That hype before the launch you get is real, and its no doubt the best launch on any coaster I have ever ridden (yes I have been on Dodonpa). That launch is so forceful. You feel the sustained acceleration when you shoot down that launch track and the speed feeling in the front row. The twist on the way up has some sweet laterals to it and the airtime going over the top varies depending on how fast the train is running (sometimes its sustained ejector and sometimes therere no airtime whatsoever). The drop is absolutely brilliant with a nice whip going down the spiral. And the overall ride is one of the best coaster experiences you can ever get.It might be only 17 seconds long from launch to brakes, but for me it was the best 17 seconds of my life. It is my favorite launch coaster of all time just because it is so intense.

This is insane in the front seat.. not the best in the park but its intimidating

Un-freaking-believable. Prepare to wait unless you have the FastLane (pricey but worth every penny in my book).The speed and acceleration is insane, and the front seat is a life changing experience. You’ll feel your cheeks being pulled back from the G forces.This ride does not operate in high winds, if it’s running, get in line. The winds can pick up anytime on the lake.

Unbelievable ! So fast ! I never saw that before ! The acceleration is breathtaking (194km/h).The only problem is that its a bit short (17sec).

I wish I could give this ride a full 5 stars because this ride is so amazing but the reason it gets only 4 stars is because the long wait times, and because the coaster is down so often. Whether its 5 minutes or full days, it happens so often. But if you are able to get a ride on this amazing coaster you will be getting the thrill of your life. And if you are really lucky you will make it to the top roll back (safely of course) and then get to ride the whole thing again. This coaster is so fast and so high, defidently one of my favorites!

Great Hydraulic launch but very unreliable.... it seems like Intamin is learning from their mistakes though with most new rides being LSM or LIM

Its tall, its fast, its terrifying....and.... its over before you can really enjoy it. Quite a thrill to ride but I prefer a little more ride if you know what i mean. Its over before you have time to appreciate how high, fast and steep it is.

At night time it’s the most beautiful thing. You launch and you go up and your rushing the whole time but then you get to the top and you slow down for a bit and from the bottom it doesn’t feel that long but from up there it feels like your stopped and you get to see beyond the whole park.

Fast lane plus is IMO the only way to get the most out of your precious time at Cedar Point. If u love exciting, thrill seeking rides, Cedar Point is the place to go. Ride lines can be super long 2-3 hour wait, but with the Fast Lane Plus your longest wait on any ride is b/t 15-60 minutes ... that is on a Saturday. We went on Friday and Saturday and did the 2 day combo with unlimited amount of drinks and meal plan. Great amazing family fun times!!!!

I went on this ride the year it came out, I think 2004? Idk I was 14 . But at that time it was a 6 hour wait in line, and the ride is only 15 seconds long... I went on it four times. 1 min of my life was worth the 24 hour wait. Fastest and tallest roller coaster in the United states.Cant wait to go on this ride again.

It was an amazing roller coaster experience for us! You shouldnt sit in the front seats if you dont want to get bugs in your face...lol

This ride is worth the wait. The crazy launch is a feeling no other and once you get up to 120mph your face feels like it is going to fall off ( in a good way ). Next thing you know you are 420ft in the air looking at the incredible view of the park, before being spiraling down the 90° drop back down to earth.

Holy fork this ride is awesome. Line moved super fast and it should since the ride only lasts 17 seconds. But man what an awesome 17 seconds. Magnetic launcher that propels youd to 120 mph in less than a few seconds you really get the feeling of being in a top speed dragster. The name is perfect. Ride this and you wont need to hold because the Gs will keep you from going anywhere.

I used to hate roller coasters so naturally I went on this one and let me tell you I have never felt more alive excited and happy in my life. Sure the line can be excruciatingly long at times but that can be said about most rides at any theme park especially if the ride is good. This is by far one of the best rides Ive ever been on

Top thrill dragster has been down for three weeks. When I asked one of the workers what was going on with it, he said were not sure its fate right now, lets just pray. If this means an end for top thrill dragster Ill be pretty sad. Its one of my favorite rides....

Waited in line for 95 minutes (ugh) but it was worth it at least the first time. It was insane for the first half, and then pretty pleasant for the last half. It looks really tall, but you cant tell it is that tall on the way down because of the twist. Definitely do it at least once!

Sadly, I have to 1 star this ride experience.... The only ride in the park with as many persistent problems and long lines just to be told the ride is closed.... Too many people waste their time in this line. Sat in line for 2 1/2 hours, was literally in the cue, and they shut the ride down. Waited for them to reset it and get back to operating, and they got a couple cars down again and the ride got shut down yet again. Dont sit in this line unless you have Fast Pass.

One of my top 3 coasters. Line can be a little long but so worth it for the coaster enthusiast. Theres a plus if the train doesnt make it up the hill the first time. They bring you back and do it again! One and a half rides for one line wait!

Its an amazing ride. The line was about an hour and a half, but was well worth it. Im coming back 2 more times this year, and cant wait to ride it again.

Got in line a few times and it kept closing down because of Wind. I guess safety matters to them which is a good thing but once we finally got on it was totally worth waiting for! I have never done anything like this in my life!!! Pretty sure I liked it!!!

Waited 30 minutes and got on the ride I would still say Maverick with up to a 1.5 hour wait is better. The ride only lasts 17 seconds and the only good part is the LSM launch at the beginning. Wouldnt recommend riding unless the line is 15 minutes or less.

This coaster is INSANE!!! I love this ride so much. Easy top 3 in the park, which is obviously the best in the world. Cant wait to ride it next time I go. This ride is a must do.

Its a flat out blast!... When it isnt shut down because of malfunctioning. One tip, talk to the staff and they will tell you when the best times to ride are happening.

This ride goes fro 0 to 120 in about a second and the whole ride is 17 seconds long. Its not something I would bring a child on, but its a great experience for those old enough to handle the g forces. Overall I had a great experience and the wait is usually worth it. The only time it isnt is when someone doesnt follow the parks rules and ends up making you sit in the train forever waiting to get off the ride.

YEA BOYYYYY! HAD A BLAST UNTIL THE LAST 4 HRS OF OUR NIGHT. BETWEEN 6-10....WORKERS ATTITUDES CHANGE AND THEY ACT LIKE THEY DONT WANNA BE THERE. :/

I LIVE ROLLERCOASTERS AND I LOVE THIS THING

This roller coaster is super intense and really fun. I wouldnt recommend riding if you have to wait in line for more than 30 minutes because the ride is so short, (just under a minute) if you can ride it in under a 30 minutes wait, then I would highly recommend doing this to check it off your list if you havent already done so. It has seats that dont feel very protective, but I had my hands up the entire time and I was absolutely fine. Im a big guy as well

During the day, the line can be long, however during the night its shorter. They provide fans to keep you cool during the day, but they dont work very well and I think they should fix them up or replace them. Its one of my favorite rides in Cedar Point because of the short rush of adrenaline it gives you and you can brag to your friends and family that youve rode the Top Thrill Dragster. They have a mini shop near the roller coaster so that you can purchase photos and merchandise.

Best roller coaster out there and it’s also apart of one of the best theme parks around!

By far the most exhilarating ride I have ever experienced. There are many rides I love at Cedar Point. This is my favorite. If you are in the park and enjoy the excitement of mind blowing speed paired with insane heights this is the ride for you. The ride sometimes has an extremely long wait. Which I believe is worth every second to experience it. A lot of people get scared of the ride not making it over the top which I have seen but not experienced. I think those who get to experience it are lucky. They get the chance to be shot up again. I urge every person who goes to the park to give themselves the ride of a lifetime.

We have past past plus so It was a very fast one it was less than 5 minutes so we got up there in seconds! Best roller coaster ever.

At my home park, we have the taller brother Kingda Ka. But the original stands up to all the hype. It may be a little shorter in height, but it still gives the insane adrenaline pumping ride that Ka does. Theres nothing like shooting out at over 100 mph and climbing 400 feet in less than a few seconds. A must ride for any coaster fan.

Fast but way to fastI really like how it just shoots out of the station but the obly time you realize what actually happens is just at the top and that obly lasts for like10 seconds or so.

One of the best coasters in the world. 120 mph lauched up 420 ft. A thrill like no other, except it sucks when it breaks down.

I came to the park when it opened I was first in line for this than I got to ride all coasters! But the top thrill dragster is smooth very smooth I also like steel vengeance it’s a WHAT JUST HAPPENED type of ride lol.

Thrill coaster. Pure acceleration. Goes so fast, your stomach has no chance to drop like a rollercoaster so this is very different from your typical coaster

Its so fast and the scariest part is waiting in the line and sitting down in the chair but after the acceleration your fear goes away and you can enjoy the amazing ride.

I didnt ride this ride but my husband did he said it was amazing!!! He said he felt like it was better than the Millennium Force but he rates the Top Thrill Dragster and Millennium Force top 2 at the park.
