Such a fun coaster. Gives you some thrills, but still tame enough for younger riders. Pretty smooth too. The transitions can be a but rough, but otherwise, this ride is perfect. Also gotta love the 70s station. A must ride at the park.

Great Racer Coaster, where two carts face off against one another (blue/red) from start to finish in what appears to be a race off.The coasters roll next to one another a majority of the time, taking and losing the lead, going around the first curve and up the first major hill, you can basically reach out and touch the other carts.Despite being old, and wooden, the coaster is fairly smooth, fast, and always seems like it last forever. Lots of great turns and twist, a ton of action, to keep you excited from front to finish.Lines are always pretty fast and once up top being able to seperate onto whichever side makes it easy and less crowded then other line ques.Only con, it seems as the years go on, more often then not, only one side is in operation but if both trains are up and moving, what a fun, ride!

Wow BEST RIDE EVER I went there in September 2015 and 2016 and rode the ride with my BFF 8 times

For an older coaster its surprisingly smooth! Racing with the other coaster gives it another level of fun!

Being born in June... the Gemini is a natural favorite.I love this ride, mostly for the memories... but its still a blast. There is something about racing the other coaster that adds to the experience.

A great Arrow woody and I love the racing aspect. In its age there are some typical rough Arrow transactions. Classic coaster with a good drop, some airtime moments, and decent pacing. A true classic and icon of the park. Fantastic capastity and super fun to marathon.

I love this ride, but when I was on it the blue car was down and it was only the red car. So whats the point? Because its supposed to be like a race. I waited 45 minutes to find out that one car was down. But its still a fun ride.

Super fun! Love how you compete against another train and how you can high five people from the other train. While the drops aren’t the biggest, the drops are still super fun! It’s pretty smooth for such an old coaster and the wait is always short.

Gemini is a great coaster that provides great thrills and fun while also being fun for the whole family. The dueling element adds to the excitement factor as well, seeing as dueling is always fun. If youre visiting Cedar Point, make sure to get this one on your list.

This is a great classic racing coaster with some fun drops. It’s great for people who don’t necessarily love the huge coasters. However, it can feel a bit rough at times due to its age and structure.

I love this ride for just how much fun it is. I love marathoning it at night since there is a short line and the strangest things can happen.Once I saw a gut handing out jerky to the people in the other train. The best place to sit is the seat that faces the other train. This is because you can high five people on the other side during the turns.

This was our first visit to cedar point and we love to this roller coaster! We arent quite up for the massive thrill ride roller coasters such as steel vengeance so Gemini fit the bill perfectly. It might be 41 years old but the ride is smooth and a fantastic coaster!

Its a good coaster, I would rate it better if it wasnt surrounded by better ones. Only one side was running, which makes the twin factor obsolete. Also its kind of rough and bumpy, but much better than usual wooden coasters.

Great family ride for anyone over 48 tall. Its a real classic, with every red and blue train racing to the end.

An all-time classic from the 80s. You cant go wrong with this wooden thrill seeker ride. Usually a wait of 15-20 minutes or less, its always a hit for the family!

Always a great ride. The racing between the two coasters is an awesome element. Great for a big range of ages.

Fun coaster. It‘s a mix between thrill and family coaster. Despite it being not perfectly smooth, the dueling aspect makes up for it. Clapping the hands of the people on the other train is a fun thing, and there are even two near miss elements.

Very short waiting line for such an amazing ride. The Gemini is a fun and semi-competitive race between the two coasters. =)

I remember riding the Gemini when I was at Cedar Point a few years ago for a cross country field day. The wooden roller coaster is fun, with many declines and upclines. Sometimes the coaster is shut down, which is annoying, but at the same time its an old coaster that needs repairs; so I get why they shut it down during different times of the year. You sometimes hear the bolts/nails underneath you rattle and you think whether or not they will fall off or not. Not as exciting as The Top Thrill Dragster, but still in my top five for my personal favorite roller coasters at Cedar Point.

Love This Roller Coaster its fun like if your sitting by corner from like ether side some nice friendly people can high-five your hand but.....downside its Seatbelts they sometimes are too tight too put on and sadly due Im disabled its hard for me snap on so I always get the boot meaning kicked off Cedar Point Amusement Park Please get better seatbelts for this ride for 150th Anniversary

This ride is starting to show its age. Its still fun when they run both cars, the racing aspect is still a unique novelty, but if your back doesnt hurt before the ride, itll hurt after.

Classic. First drop is a good one. Nice intermediate rollercoaster. Started to get a little rough in some spots.

An old favorite. Best to rode at night. As the fun people ride and slap hands around the far curve. Its fun to race each other also as there are two side by side. Thats the only roller coaster Ive ever seen like that. Of course its a little nostalgic for me as it was my first roller coaster just two years after it was built... Im showing my age but I love coasters.

Really enjoyable dueling wood coaster, it seems decently fast, I havent seen an actual number however

Great ride! I got to take my 6 year old on it for the first time. This was the first big coaster i rode as a kid. It was very cool to see a ride that ive been on 1000 times through the eyes of a child. It was like riding it for the first time. Its just as bumpy ss i remembered and the second hill still makes my breath catch. Its a great old classic.

As much as I love this ride and I would love to give it five stars I cant do to Cedar Fairs does not run both coasters all the time the whole point when you go to ride Gemini is to have the racing coaster to give the person next to you a high-five as you pass them Cedar Fairs needs a really work on having both those coasters running all the time

I will always think of Gemini as my favorite wooden coaster at Cedar Point. Its a smooth ride, and has loads of bunny hills to throw your stomach into your throat My only complaint is that over the last few years, Ive noticed they havent been running both of the racing coasters... usually just one. Which the racing coasters is a huge part of the novelty, and it moves the lines along.

This ride is amazing! The first hill will send you flying out of your seat (airtime wise). The blue cart was broken when i went so i couldnt enjoy the full racing experience. I will definetely be riding this again!

This rollercoaster is one of my favorites! The first drop is not that bad, and after the first drop I put my hands up for the rest of the ride. The ride is not to bumpy and not too fast. That is why it is one of my favorites

My favorite ride there surpriseingly it is very smooth considering it is a old wooden roller coaster and it is definitely smoother than some of the other rides.

I have either gotten an okay ride on this coaster or a really good one sometimes it’s really smooth or slightly rough. Overall it’s a 7/10 Ride for me. The helix at the end is definitely the best part of the ride. This is the Arrow version of Lightning Racer but not as twisty and hybrid instead of wooden.

Rarely run 2 trains, ride its getting a bit rough but a classic.

Its not a woody but a steel hybrid.

Its difficult to beat the time-to-fun ratio for this ride. You can generally ride it several times within a short period of time, you get the thrill of the race, and if you choose your seat correctly, some nice air time as well. Even better when ridden when the brakes before the final turnaround are deactivated.

A good, old fashioned ride. A bit bumpy, but that made it fun!
