Its a great trail, but the best parts are blocked off by a no-trespassing sign. Towards the back end (Im being honest here), beyond the sign, you see more beauty but also understand why they call it Pipe Creek, as there are numerous pipes lining the creek shore. Perhaps its water fowl season, and maybe my trek beyond the sign was a dangerous move, but its still a beautiful park, complete with Cedar Point views not too far off.
Beautiful view of the Sandusky Bay. The trails go off in different directions and are well marked. Fishing is allowed. Lots of wildlife. This place is nice to visit any season of the year.
Amazing waterway for bass if you love bass fishing you just need to go there
Very nice place for a walk and bird watching worth checking out if you into nature.
First time just to see what its about. Looks like a great place to launch a kayak.
Pretty cool nature trails. Pet friendly
Great place to drop a kayak. They have recently added an EZ kayak launch, which made getting into the water a snap, even for our kids. Channel markers are easy to see and avoid, and our experience was that those using motorcraft were mindful of our kayaks - we had almost no wake to deal with at all. After a short distance, we had a direct view of Cedar Point; it was a really cool perspective.
Great place to fish
It was nice we walked around save the turtle saw a lot of unique birds
When I first came to ohio, that was one of my first places I visit. I go out there every chance I get! Long walks, and quiet after you get past all the people who go out there to smoke! I dont suggest going out there at night, unless you can scare off animals well! Told it was haunted, but have not witnessed this myself!
Beautiful views. Got lost in between paths because there was no map brochure like other wildlife parks.
Nice and quite peaceful feeding the fish and ducks the grand kids loved it
Just another nature trail. Trees, marsh, weeds, grasses, birds, snakes, other creepy crawlers, and plenty of mosquitoes.A nice rocky shoreline pretty good for fishing. Especially for catfish in June and July.Theres a small mud beach suitable for launching kiaks.A free gravel off street parking lot for your convenience and posted trail map and information signs. You might want to stay on the trail unless youd like to take some new little pets back with you. Ticks. Great breeding ground. Check yourself out good before getting back in your vehicle.
A interesting area. Can launch kayaks here. You can see a good bit of wildlife here.
Its OK little trail. I stopped for a brief hike while going to Cedar Point, and the trails had nice views of the bay and the park. Not terribly exciting, but a nice break.
If you like to photograph birds, this is where you want to be. Large cranes, Herons and plenty of ducks
Excellent place for birdwatching, good paths, good views. Its a very good man made habitat for waterfowl.
Great place to walk or water sports.
Was a good paddle. Creek is full of trash near perkins and 250.
Great place for spring warbler migration!
Nice size catfish this visit
Checking out places to put the kayak in!!
Walking trails are wonderful
Not for fishing. There is nothing here.
Great view
Other than a short initial trail and boat launch the park was closed for duck hunting season
Stay away, enough said
