Its beautiful there and the wind feels so amazing against your hot and sweaty skin. The stairs are no joke but its a really good work out. I love the little fake grass area right by the waters. We can do our planks, stretches, sit ups, etc...there and to feel the wind against my skin feels so good!

Great place to take your lunch and come sit on the hillside and eat overlooking the bay. Just a bit windy most of the time, but otherwise great view of SF, planes landing at multiple airports, and a general nice walking area. Lots of parking available!

Built on top of an old dump at the hight of about 100 feet this park will give you great view of the San Francisco Bay pointing South East. A walk with some great sculptures, a huge dog park, and a kayak and sailboard launch are just other good reasons to come here. The view of San Mateo Bridge is cool, as is the view of Downtown San Mateo. If you have kids, discussion about trash and how they control it is cool. (There is a membrane with top soil and wells for testing.) In my mind this is a trip to talk nature and ecology and science. (There is an echo chamber sculpture.)

Nice open space with a large hill that permits a nice panorama of San Francisco and Oakland. Walking trails abound with benches at convenient intervals, but no real shade. Contains a dog park and has on-site parking available (they say it closes at 8pm but I have seen it open past 9 on some days, YMMV), as well as street parking on the adjacent side of the road. Makes for a reasonably good eartl evening dark sky site for west/northwest facing skies, though street parking is not allowed after 10pm. Restrooms by the parking lot and the park is on the Bay Trail, linking it to Coyote Point to the north and Oracle (Uncle Larry) to the south.

I love walking my dog here. Its scenic and most dog owners are respectful when walking their dogs (ie rarely see off leash dogs). Winter to spring makes the place so green. For summer and fall, the hill is yellow but still has amazing views plus hours are extended past 7:30pm for gate lock up.

At the top of the hill are several wind/sound sculptures. They are very interesting visually and provide great, though intimate sound. Good walking/bike path along the shore. Even though it is a popular recreation destination, it can still be a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. It is a good place to unwind a little if you stressed out from your business trip or just need to relax in the middle of a long road trip.

The little dog park is kind of hard on the doggies feet if they like to run. Most of the time the little dogs are pretty friendly and theres lots of them from around 11 in the morning till at least 2 p.m. the bigger dog area has a lot of space for the dogs to run Ive only seen one dog fight there and it was because people werent paying attention and there was too many big dogs together. Otherwise its a pretty decent place

Whenever I feel bored or tired, I take my camera and go to this park. Along with the bay trail which runs along the bay, theres a trail on top of the hill too, in with people walk/bike. The artifacts at the top of the hill are interesting. On a clear day, youll be able to see the silhouette of San Fransisco City from this point. Once I saw a Fisher man catch a leopard shark here!

Easy to park and short drive from San Mateo or Bellingame, the park is right adjacent to Ryder Court Park. Both are connected and part of the attractions of the Bay walk/bike path along the Bay miles in either direction. It is suitable for all ages. To increase your work out you can run up and down the wind walk hill. Ryder Park has a popular childrens playground the parking lot of which is contiguous by walk (2 minutes) with the parking lot of Seal Point Park. Children and adults can enjoy watching the continuous string of flights coming in for landing. There are plenty of marine wild life to observe.

The only thing youll want is for the trail you never end...

This is a local park on top of a former dump, which sounds terrible, but is actually very nice. There is a nice walk by the Bay with wind sculptures and many shorebirds, and in the spring, redwing blackbirds. Some areas have been partially restored with native plants. There is also a dog park and a childrens play area and a picnic area. Somehow, the bicycles, kids, walkers and dogs all get along.

I could tell it was a.little rough on my Cookies paws cuz the dirt is rough. but they can run so far. nice people too. cute dogs. not too busy at prime time when I was there (just before dark thirty)
