Wonderful park to take your dogs or to go for a swim. It is always clean and beautiful here. You can go tubing, fishing, and picnic if you like. There are also an abundance of trash cans at the publics disposal. Please use them. ^^

Go enjoy yourself at one of the busiest parks in the area. We drove 2-1/2 hours just to get there. It was so nice that we drove back the following weekend as a day trip. Making memories with family. Families everywhere setting up early. I recommend this place to any and everyone. You will not be disappointed.

Love this park & the access to the San Marcos River. 3 areas where the water drops into Rapids. The currents are very strong here so parents beware of your children at all times.

Beautifully maintained park. Nice trails, picnic tables and a covered pavilion as well. Love visiting here when driving thru.

Great park. Dogs must be on leash even in the water. We got scolded, but overall its a beautiful park and the doggos LOVE swimming in it.

Best Park ever brah

First time visiting the park -- went for a local SCA regional al fighter practice. Great space for pursword fighting. Easy-to-access amenities. Lots of space. Would love more parking, but there are walkable lots near enough to mitigate that. Easy access to the river; easy to get to from I-35.

Tubing down the river is amazing. Had a blast and very relaxing. The rabbids are fun to go down. Just make sure you wear water shoes.

Nice shaded area with picnic tables. For people who play Pokemon Go there are 15 pokestops nearby and 3 pokegyms. And the 3 tier waterfalls start right across Cheatham street you can float the falls on a innertube to the small bridge after the Cheatham over pass to get back to crook park..

Awesome place for water fun, just be extremely careful going over the man-made falls

Family and i have been going here for quite a while but this time the park Marshall told us that my ice chest couldnt be close to use by the river that we had to have in the grass area by the street... I told him that we never had an issue so he got rude so i decided to walk away and in process i slipped got up went to my husband he walked towards us grabed my husband from shoulders and asked to call EMS

Its nice but not everyone wants to cook with propane they put more resections than that. People need to clean up after there selves so it doesnt ruin it for others.

Quiet and chill place to hide from the activity of Rio Vista. Good place to set up a hammock or swing off a rope. Unfortunately its been pretty damaged by the floods of 2015 but its still a great spot on the river.
