I never knew of this place till I had to find it to meet with a small group of friends. It was clean. Even though its a small park, the few groups there were still able to practice safe social distancing.

Relaxing, cool and peaceful

Great small Park. A little hidden Gem. It was very nice and clean and not over the crowded. I would have given it 5 Stars if they had more picnic tables closer to the playground. Its hard to watch your kids from the picnic table when the picnic table is so far away from the playground

I love thiS Park. It has two play areas one for the small kids( babies,toddlers and ages 3 to 10 yrs old) and it is gated. The play area for the bigger kids is very challenging and modern apparatus. It has restrooms and they are always very clean, picnic tables and barbecue grills right next to the . It has a big field and a volleyball Court but you have to bring your own net and ball. The only thing is it has limited parking maybe 10 parking spaces and one handicap . Otherwise its a GREAT Park for all ages.

This is a pubic park tucked away in San Leandros residential area on 147th. There is space to run around, play catch, walk or ride a bike. Tables with benches and 2 or 3 small pits to have a Bbq or small family gathering. There is a playground but I didnt visit. Looked fun. Families visiting and exercising while I was there during mid day.

I always called this place the secret park, because its never full and so big. Great place to walk your dog or being your kids to run around and play.

Good spot to chill out, picknickky, or reading, working, relaxing lil spot park. I had a great relaxing afternoon and I finally got thru a book that I thought I would never get thru reading, but I did it at this park. Its for sure at times quiter than my apartment !!! Nice park to walk dogs

So much open green grass at this park. Gated kids play area and fun park toys. There are picnic benches where you can sit and eat. Best of all it’s not usually busy. It’s kind of a hidden gem.

Love this place. Its so pretty and well maintained. Clean bathrooms but no soap, of course. And the grounds are shady which is lovely.

Wonderful park for a family reunion from the very young to the old. Clean, green, shade on a hot day. Only problem restrooms are far from barbque site. Love the environment.

This a nice tucked away park. Most sunny weekends theres music playing. A 2 playground area for different ages. If your in the area its a worthwhile visit.

I love this part. It is definitely one of San Leandro CA hidden gems. The park is very spacious. Plenty of green grass for the kids to run around or to walk your dog. It has a separate play area for toddlers. Theres a small parking lot that are fits maybe 30 to 40 cars. Other than that you would have to park in the neighborhood. This park tends to get very busy on the weekends. However during the weekday theres a nice crowd and plenty of room for your kids to run around.

Lots of grass and trees, two play structures for younger and older kids, however no shade near play structures on a hot day and the structures were to hot for the kids to play on & enjoy.

Small park with parking located at the end of the neighborhood with 2 Pokemon gyms, a bathroom, a big play area for young kids, lots of older people in the community come here in the morning and throughout to exercise.

Was here for a birthday party. The park is really nice. They have a playground, trees, tables, bbq grills. The only thing is on one of the side exits there is NO gate that keeps the children from running out into the street.

They need to trim the trees that are covering there night lights. Make it safer for the night walkers. I took some photos of the light area that I m talking about.

This is my childhood park. It has changed throughout the years but its gotton better in my oppinion. The old slides are gone and it now has a more modern look to it. I would recommend this place on sunny days. hold some birthdays and other get togethers here forsure. a cozy in neighborhood park not many people go too.

Small but green and clean! Jogged a few times around with my girlfriend and puppy. Definitely revisiting during warmer weather

I grew up in this place...

Lots of grass, plenty of shade and fun structures for kids up to their teens. Not sure what that spinning bowl u sit in is called but that is my sons favorite.

Cool place to eat lunch outside, lots of tables, lots of shade. Bring a ball and a bite. Oh yeah kids love the jungle gym. They even have a toddlers lil gym thing.

Really nice and well maintaned park. the crew sift the tanbark out often and the grass is always green and trimmed. the few dogs that people walk here are well trained and always on a leash so no worries of that nature. great park!

Its a nice area with lots of open space. It has a cordoned space for younger children. But a few pieces of equipment were broken so you have to check carefully.

Halcyon Park is a great neighborhood park for BBQs picnics or just taking your children to. The park is clean with clean bathrooms, new playground for kids.there is a volleyball court disc golfing and a nice path to walk around the park on . Dog friendly.

Make a ledt at Rock n Roll sushi coming f5om Bayfair and you will run i to Halycon Park. I always saw this park from Bart. Easy access, 2 playgrounds and a great big field for Soccer or Football. Fun for dogs too !

The best hidden park in SL

Saw a guy break into a car last week in front of the preschool.A couple of months ago I busted a couple smoking meth near the playground and preschool.A lot of homeless hangout here and some dog owners dont keep their dogs on leashes.Its a nice play but attracts a bad crowd sometimes.

Well kept park now that all the drug dealers were scared off. Neighborhood watch helps too. Police and Park Rangers come by often too.
