Theyve been working on this park for a yr or more. Theres still no changes to make it better. Its supposed to be a dog park but the area for the dogs to run loose and meet n greet has become smaller. (Due to the construction). Its a pretty big open field park w/a walking path. The bathrooms arent the best seems as someone is always clogging the toilets. Theres always action and people there.

Nice people. Not too many dogs today, but I was there last Sunday for the first time, & there were plenty of new pup pals for my handsome 4-legged fella to frolic with. A little muddy for the paws near the water, but to be expected. They have both a large & small dog area in which to play & tables & benchs for the human guardians, too. Just like the Terminator, Ill be back!

This dog park has a lot going for it. Running water, benches, and even a small amount of shade. The dogs weve met are nice. The ground is dead grass and dirt, but I was told artificial grass is coming in November. Down sides... Not enough shade, the freeway is RIGHT THERE, and there is a homeless encampment just off the side. I couldnt see it from the park, but was told theyll come out and take stuff. Lights at night would be nice.Separate parks for large and small dogs, and sturdy fences and gates are a plus. Ill check back when Im near it with a fog or two.

The dog park is big enough for my dog to run around, but not so big I cant see him, its a good size, there is a water fountain for him and there is where we can sit, most other dog owners are nice, only thing I dont like is the big mud puddle after it rains. My dog starts to wag his tail like crazy when we pull up, If my dog likes it I like it.

Five stars only wish I could give it more Watson dog park is the best dog Park I have been to get! I was amazed. bags in dispensers for pet owners to use and dispose of theirs dogs waste. Shaded areas for those hot summer days. No smell or areas where dogs like to mark their territory. Cant wait to go there again. And all the dogs were playing and running around. A happy place

I would have liked to give this park a higher rating for its spacious dog parks. However, I felt very uncomfortable even letting my dog off leash in the large dog park because there were two adults smoking in the enclosed dog area and no dogs besides mine.Things I would like to see in renovations:1. Rules posted clearly that prohibit people from (a) smoking in the dog area and kids areas (b) people loitering in the dog park without their own dog.2. Post a phone number of who to call to report people breaking park rules and regulations.3. Better lighting for later evening dog play.4. More shade.5. Dust control.

The park serves its purpose as a dog park, but the lack of grass is pretty bad, dogs with long hair will track a lot of dirt.

Big open space nestled near residential homes and freeway. Freeway noise can be loud.Dog park is spacious but needs ground cover maintenance. There has been an on-and-off construction plan to revamp the park area. Park gets muddy when wet. Needs more attention.Soccer fields are nice, artificial turf. Clean.

First dog park Ive visited. While it may not look as nice as other dog parks, I have really enjoyed the large area available. Combined with the community of dog owners Ive talked make this spot very enjoyable. Two pens one for small and large dogs, Benches and water fountains to keep your four legged pal hydrated.

Overall not the worst park, but still needs some maintenance after the flood. 3 separate parking lots (one by the school, one in the middle by basket ball courts, and another in the back by dog park/soccer field)2 playgrounds, basket ball hoops, soccer fields (not sure how open they are to the public though) and a dog park with separate sides for big and small dogs.DOG PARK:Finally open after the flood! The dog parks are big, but not maintained (even before the flood) big dog side is basically all dirt, and theres ALWAYS a mud puddle close by to the water (which means yes, your dog dog IS going to get dirty, whether they actually play in the puddle or not), Never any poop bags. But, there are 2 tables and benches in the front and back of the park (front has a little shade) and even more benches along the side, as well as a water fountain that you have to keep pushing every time your dog wants water, as well as a faucet on the far side. Someone has left a metal bowl at each fountain as of 8/11/17. Other people are usually pretty good about watching their dogs (theres a always someone that doesnt though :/ ) but wont ask before bringing small dogs to the big side or vice versa. Hope your dog isnt aggressive depending on size. so overall as long as you bring your own poop bags and dont mind your dog getting dirty, its a great spacious park for you and your dog.MAIN PARK:Also not maintained after the flood, the grass is terrible to walk in, but everything else is still good. Trash cans along the perimeter of the park and by the playground and basket ball courts. Fairly clean bathrooms for a public park, and working water fountains. Usually see some shady people in the middle parking lot that will just hang out there for hours, if youre going alone just be aware of your surroundings. Basketball courts and playground usually packed by about 7pm everyday. Walkers around the big circle pavement and joggers in the small circle pavement (no rule saying you have to do this, people just do).

Im not a fan of this park. Too much loose dirt and weeds. This place must be a mess after a rain. Not many trees either. Otherwise, its a nice facility. It has separate enclosures for big and small dogs, and both enclosures are fairly large compared to the San Jose dog parks in the evergreen area.
