Quiet Park with a lot of trails that take you up the hill from which you can get a great view of San Jose Downtown & other parts of the valley.

Great place to do hill sprints. Tey them out! You might feel like passing out after 5 but it is worth it.

Nice park hidden in the hills and lots of them. The exhilarating type of walk with my dog through the hills that satisfied the need for a workout in a short period of time.

Very nice park. There’s a small basketball court, tennis courts, a good size field, a volleyball area and a really good trail. The trail although not very long is really good. Lots of uphill great to get fit and a lovely view around sunset. Super great for pictures as well. I can also tell people enjoy going there, many were there lots of them walking their dogs. Although something they could work on would be bathrooms, at least portable ones would be great for everyone.

I love the paved dirt path up the hill. The view you get is worth the work of the incline.

I love this park! But, 2 months I was walking up the hill in the early evening and saw a full grown mountain lion walking parallel to me about 20 yards from me. I put my hands up n slowly walked down the hill. I didnt hear her walking.3 evenings later, I heard a lone coyote howl very loudly!So...yes, nature happens, but Ill go to this park during full daylight.

Cute family park. Paved and hilly trail with panoramic view of Silicon Valley. Playground, tennis courts, basketball, and sand volleyball. Similar to any park, best to go with buddy especially when not so much lighting. Overall quaint and friendly family neighborhood park.

Growsbeck Hill Park defines a great park. There is a playground, a basketball court, a tennis court, and open field, and trail to follow along. The location makes a great place to have a picnic when the weather is forgiving as it is most of the year, while remaining a great place to see the starry night and view of the city lights from near the side of the valley. The park is child and pet friendly. The neighborhood creates a safe environment for joggers and bikers at all times of the day and most of the night. The hill provides a comforting spot to stargaze and enjoy the view of the city lights.

Good place to excersiz

Lovely view of the city lights, and nicely kept paths for walking/running (especially since it had been raining for several days - very little muddy areas). Also noticed exercise stations, and other amenities, but didnt use them.

Nice place to walk. If your visiting, have your pit stop mapped out, for before or after, as there are no restrooms. There are various eating shopping areas around Tulley and Capitol Expressway to visit afterwards.

Wonderful small park, great for running or walking your dog, with beautiful hills especially in the spring when the grass is green. When you are on the top of the hill, you can see great views of the Silicon Valley. Love the variation of elevation gain so one can get a great cardiovascular workout. Has two nice play areas for two age groups of kids so the whole family can appreciate coming here.

The park has a nice little hill trail for you to walk on and it definitely got my kids energy out of him!

Nice for flat walks. Nice exercise walking the hill. The playground is dated but the kids still enjoy it. Its scheduled to be revamped. Lets hope San Jose gets to it soon.

Beautiful scenery. Gorgeous view at the top of the hill. Lots of dog walking. Tennis courts, childrens playground, and volleyball net!

Great for Easter hunting and to throw parties amazing view and good for a great exercise or run playground included and theres a sand area for volley ball you may also occasionally see horses.

Nice place for a morning or evening walk. It has a view of San Jose downtown from the distance. It is a good place to catch sunrise or sunset. Feel like in the country side but still in the city limit.

Nice little cozy park on the edge of east san jose. Its a quiet area right at the foot hills. There is a half court basketball and tennis court. Parts of the park are hilly and good for walking/hiking a little and getting a good view of San Jose.

Great place to walk, with some steep inclines. Playground equipment is old. Lighting at night is sketchy, but its a great place to watch a sunset.

I love this location because its almost isolated and hidden so not too many people go here but climbing to the top of the hill is a pretty sight to see.

Its a short walk to the top but the views (especially during sunset) are gorgeous! Ill definitely be going back for more picture!

The view of the city from the hill is beautiful. I always came here as a little kid with my grandparents so I have a lot of good memories of this place.

Love this hidden park. At least 7 to 8 pokestops for the Pokemon game and 1 gym. Great place to exercise as the trail goes around the park. There is a nice view of downtown San Jose. It sometines gets crowded during July 4th for fireworks!

No playground or toilet, but the water fountain is updated and there are some nice views available at the top of the hill.
