The arcade bar was waaaay too crowded, decided to give this place a try. Been back multiple times. Great food and beer selection. The theme was pretty cool too! Bartender is always friendly and on top of it! Highly recommended!
Perfect place to come by and watch a sporting event. There are TVs everywhere! Literally! They also have a little spot with arcade games you can play with! Its a nice little walk down Pier 39, almost all the way to the end. Food was okay, I had a New York steak and it honestly wasnt all that :( (this is why I am not giving it five stars). Other than that, a hell of a pale with great atmosphere. Definitely recommend it!
Im standing in a packed bar, I understand what that means... service will be slow. However thats not whats happening here, service has gone to a complete stand still. Lots of walking around, nobody actually doing anything. Lots of dirty dishes, people waiting without even a glass of water. No wait staff in sight. What a disappointment.
Pretty nice and fun place! Enjoy the music (DJ exists) and grab some drinks. (Non alcohol is unavailable) Play pool, mini golf, and watching sport game etc. It is an active bar, so visit your friends to have fun on Friday/Saturday night.
Food was good. Only thing is that we asked for our burgers to be well done, and this seems to be difficult in America. The meat is always a bit dry.Garlic fries were pretty intense. We were followed around by the smell of garlic for a good while after. I hope the people on the boat to Alcatraz didnt notice too much.Lemonade was amazing, and the waiter was the best Also, there are so many screens, all cool sports to see. Soccer, football, basketball and even snowboarding, really cool! But wrestling was one sport I dont need to see while eating.. Or at all
You gotta look at it from a Italian Food Enthusiast point of view. In that case, Pasta Sisters embodies what Italian Food should be. Their Porcini Mushroom, while expensive, had all the key things. It was hot, the sauce/cheese was excellent, the little detailed of the basil and mushrooms, and the variety of customization enhance the dish. It has no meat and it wont make you full, but the ingredients and feel are high quality. Pasta Sisters delivers for its specific audience.
The food and drinks are cheaper over here. Players Sports Grill & Arcade is real fun when you have a lot of friends and they have lots of other games like air hockey, pool and even arcade games. Its a nice little chill spot to go to.
No comments needed, Players Sports Grill & Arcade are the best and know what excellent customer service is, why bother going to a Players Sports office after making an appointment and still have to wait!!!! I highly recommend this location!!!
Sooo freaking delicious! Love the creaminess of the sauce and the mushrooms are so flavorful. Ive been here so many times and never get sick of it. Its definitely of my favorite restaurants to go to in LA!!
A very nice person who is passionate about his cuisine. Bravo Players Sports Grill & Arcade you are a happiness maker.
You shouldn’t be allowed to be open if you do not have a working washroom. Making your patrons use a public nearby washroom with long lines shouldn’t be allowed, it takes away from the experience and just seems lazy.
One of the best Italian restaurants in Los Angeles. I got the daily special which was Seafood Spaghtetti, and it was marvelous. This place is awfully small, so come early to get seating.
Love this place. Brought our office here for happy hour and it was a hit!
Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, however their service is below average. Our waiter just didn’t have good social skills and struggled with time management when it came to taking our order and taking our payment. Expect to spend at least 90 minutes there around dinner time with a party of four. That’s just ordering one round of drinks and dinner. We ended up going somewhere else with better service for drinks afterwards.
First time here. Its on Pier 39(Wharf). Great and good views of bay, including Alcatraz and Angel island, and shops/ entertainment of the pier. Staff was great. Although one was a little shaky, but the rest of them were great. Food was very good. My picky aunt enjoyed so the food had to be good.

Great location on pier 39 this bar has an interesting mix of live sports on the 100+ TVs in the bar section along side a full arcade section of the venue. We ordered nachos, wings and a few local beer varieties and found all to be quite delightful. The prices were quite affordable and the service was quite good so overall it was a very pleasant experience.
Sit outside so it was hard to tell what this place is all about but the drinks were definitely not cheap
We finally get a bar arcade in CA!! Im a huge fan of Ground Kontrol in Portland, and while Brewcade isnt comparable, its off to a really promising start. There are quite a few classics, including Paperboy, Smash TV, Joust, and Ms. Pac Man, along with what appears to be a MAME emulator with hundreds (thousands?) of games.
Place was fairly empty so we were excited to sit quick and enjoy dinner. We got seated quickly but there was no service. Asked the bartender if we order at the bar or get service at the table and they responded with theyd send someone right away. No one came in those first 15 minutes. We told the hostess we never got service. We were told Im so sorry. Thats it. So we left
Holy moly I had no idea this place had such amazing wings! Seriously, the best Ive had in San Francisco. If you know one better I dare you to let me know.
The food was delicious. I had the Baja Tacos; the fish was nicely cooked - enough but not too much. The white corn tortilla and pico was very fresh; all of the flavors worked well. My daughter had the pork tacos and she reported similar. Wife had Angus burger; she requested well-done but it arrived medium. The biggest complaint is that the signs for the host desk were very confusing and took 5 minutes of wandering and finally finding an employee to ask where the host desk qas.
Food is OK here. Service could be improve. Felt like its not very welcoming. Arcade games are expensive, very expensive compare to D&B. Well, its a tourist place here. You pay 2x or 3x for games more compare to D&B.
Players Sports Bar was pretty decent. Id give it 3.5 if I could... The food was good (I had the fish & chips, my wife had the pull pork BBQ) and we asked to sit in the back with views of the water. Without the views, itd just be a noisy, Hawaii-themed arcade that serves bar food but we went for lunch on a Friday afternoon and many tables were open. Again, we were glad we asked to sit in the back because the view of the water was phenomenal (image attached).
It looks nice but is closed at the moment due to the pandemic.
Ive never been to this place before and since it was fairly empty my friend and I decided to eat here. The food is Ok, nothing too special. My friend enjoyed her burger. I was really looking forward to the ahi tuna salad but the tuna did not taste very good. The service is good. It seemed as if there wasnt really one server for our table? However the guy who took our order was very kind. Its a cool place for kids to play at the arcade.
Really cool place to hang out. The games are cool (that gigantic Galiga tho) and the drinks, while a little pricey, are super good.
We were in the luau lounge for the Super Bowl. Our server was friendly and very efficient and the appetizers were delicious. However, during the second half of the game, another staff member walked up to our table and literally yanked a chair out from under my leg that had been resting on it due to recent knee surgery. He did this so quickly that I didnt see him coming and couldnt react. It was very painful. I mentioned it to our server who spoke with her manager. Apparently the staff person was spoken to, but at no point did the manager or staff person in question come over to apologize or check if I was okay. I do not discredit our server because she was excellent.
This place is awesome! It has the largest Halo game I have ever seen! This game alone is a great reason to stop by here while going through pier 39!
Really good food and friendly staff
Worst food and drinks ever ..!! Everything was over priced and the worst Ive ever had at the Piers/Embarcaderos!!! Save your money and go somewhere else, ANYWHERE else!!!
Oh man! I entered this place for a free BOGO offer from Big Bus & randomly ordered Irish Coffee - I was amazed by the flavor I got Long island also didn’t disappointed me !
Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, however their service is below average. Our waiter just didn’t have good social skills and struggled with time management when it came to taking our order and taking our payment. Very cool sports bar and grill! Tons of TVs everywhere and tons of arcade games!!! Photo displays the view from the windows!
Food was ok, service was not so good. The place was almost empty during Saturday at lunch time that should say a lot. I was there a while back and it was a good experience, now it seems too expensive for what they offer.
Horrible service with no apology. Ordered drinks during their happy hour. Also ordered a couple of appetizers. We only received or drinks after about 15 minutes of ordering them. This place was dead, so if it was busy it would be understandable. Appetizers never came, despite the server repeating it back when he took the order. 35 minutes, nothing. Asked for the check, took another 10 minutes. Luckily, the appetizers were not on the check, but full priced drinks. So much for happy hour. Maybe 6 people in this restaurant, and I can see why. If youre not hopping everyday with a location at Pier 39, something is definitely wrong. Do yourself a favor and skip it.
Great place to get something to eat and drink. Once your done step outside to see the seals and have a photo opportunity.
Great american pub. The beers where tasty, all people there smiled and where really helpful and kind and loved the music. Recommended if you are in the Haights area.
Fun place. Big arcade. Lots of sports on the TVs. Good food. Prices are fair for the area.
Great place, lots of fun and nice food
Beautiful tiki bar with a great view of the bay. The bartender was a young pro. Fantastic.
Your typical sports bar but a double whammy of being in San Francisco and at Fishermans Wharf does Jack prices up a bit. Service is good but a little slow. This is to be expected with the amount of customers in there. All in all, a decent place to grab a beer and some bar grub in the middle of the Wharfs chaos. The Christmas crowd probably didnt help. Service is good but it would probably be better to sit on the bar if you dont want to keep waiting for each round of drinks.
The bloody Marys were exactly what one would want. They are definitely a must when you are at Peir 39
Better for drinks than food. Nice location with the buzz of Pier 39. Friendly staff.
First no one attended us or gave us the menu when my husband went looking for a server she was so rude and asked if we are ready for drinks order which we werent. She got so upset that we wanted the food menu before deciding on drinks order.
The best garlic fries I have ever had, the atmosphere was great as well as the staff. There is a fire pit area outside where you can sit and eat and people watch at the same time.
Love this place for a quick drink!
Fun place - kids had a great time and reloadable game cards make it easy to allow each kid to have fun.
Enjoyed delicious medium cooked stake and fries with nice cold draft Budweiser. Friendly service. Will go back .
Good, standard touristy American food. Arcade games are in good condition
Lots of fun! Wasnt too loud when we were there and it was nice! Tasty food too, got the spaghetti and meatballs
Our server was fantastic, we sat by the outdoor fireplace and had a tasty clam chowder bread bowl..but the real winner was the garlic fries! They are soooooo good!!!
Giving it 3 Star because of the service was not that well, the food came out out pretty fast but worth drinks it took awhile and then too get a refill also took quite awhile and only got one set of utensils and asked for more napkins and never got them. Food was great but service wasnt too great. But nice place had a little bonfire table in the outdoor area. Has a bunch if TV everywhere. Great selection of food and drinks.
The bar at the front has wall to wall US sports memorabilia and plenty of places to sit and people watch. However if you pass through the arcade that is in the middle of the place you end up in the back looking out across the San Francisco bay.The food may seem a little expensive for a lunch time snack but oh my god is it value for money. I had the pasta and my wife had the rack of ribs. When the ribs arrived we both asked the same question which was....How big was the cow?The view and food combination for me was only spoilt by the arcade you have to pass through.
Great customer service
Fun place - kids had a great time and reloadable game cards make it easy to allow each kid to have fun.
Go eat first and get the discount for the arcade. Nice atmosphere for the kids.
Really nice staff and good prices for the location. We seat on a fire pit to enjoy a cold beer and our daughter accidentally got her hand slighty burned (her fault). The staff was really nice. Gave us first aid cream and free ice cream to make her feel better.
The service was ok, the server was very attentive, but the food took a while at a time they werent busy and the portions were small. Not really worth the money, but the Bloody Mary kind of saved the day here.
Biggest and best arcade games EVER!
Food was not very good. Our server was the slowest and least happy person I have come across in a very long time. Its a cool little place though.
Decent food, slower than typical service.
Great service and even better drinks. The bartender knows his stuff!
We love to go to arcades and were very hungry after a long day traveling so chose this place to have drinks, eat and relax in the arcade. Sat at the bar because almost every table said reserved the man behind the bar never even looked at us. Someone came from a different area and got us drinks and menus that we had to ask for. We decided to get their large app platter, poke, nachos and a salad. We finished our 20 oz beers while repeatedly being ignored (he even counted his tips while not taking our order) and decided we were too hungry to wait anymore. We moved to Wipeout and highly recommend. We had our food right away and everyone is friendly.
So I didnt try the food so I wont give it a 5 star. But the games where more like Dave and Busters or Sega Game World. It only accepted there card. The bathrooms were clean for a Monday. Cash or Credit Card. Family friendly. Games are cool. Full service bar.
Great location and fun atmosphere. Good food!
The food wasnt that good when I visited. Im not sure how one can mess up a grilled chicken sandwich . . . I guess by not seasoning or marinating the chicken breast. They also placed me in front of the door and there was a very cold breeze. They finally shut the door upon multiple request to close it.
Food was good a bit pricey but it was good......on the building it was called bubba shrimp
Awesome Bar Awesome View Awesome Drinks and Awesome Staff cheers to Matt and Brandon the best bar staff!!
Tomas makes the most delicious drinks. Kudos
We are loving this place! We come here with our small dog and sit on the patio. If its warm out and the misters arent on, just ask and they will turn them on. Service has been great, food times on point, and food has been delicious. Happy hour is fun, but nice to relax for lunch too. Mixed drinks have been great, draft beers are better when in a chilled glass (hit or miss). They bring out a bowl of water if you have a pup and I think thats awesome.
Walked in and went to their bar and was given a menu and asked if I wanted water as soon as I sat down which was great! Ordered their pinacolada and it was to die for! I wanted to order another but it was my first time drinking in awhile and did not want to over do it but I could drink a pitcher of that stuff! Staff was polite, place was clean & if you want to grab a drink I would suggest this place in a heartbeat! Price of the drinks were a bit pricey but definitely worth what you pay for.
Great view, good food.
The tiki lounge at the end of the pier has some great views of the bay. The nachos were pretty good.
Small portioned food for the price, inadequate service, would not go back with so many other great food choices surrounding
The hostess was nice and welcoming. When we sat down our waiter apparently had an attitude. I would mention his name, but he didnt give when he approached the table. We asked him what drinks were offered, he pointed to a menu on the table. We asked him if that meant the drink options were in there & he mumbled (as in yes). He brought our drinks, when asked for straws (a sin) he gave one hadnt been open & one that was unwrapped. The drinks were nasty, so when he came back, we asked that he bring us different drinks. He looked at us as if we were making it up. He brought our drinks back, I asked for another straw and he had an issue with that. Our food came out, I had the lasagna, which it was old & obvious to the last and look that it was old, and had been reheated. Not once did the waiter come by our table to see if we were enjoying our meal. However, he made time with the table behind us and carried on a conversation with them for several minutes. I asked the food runner for the manager. The waiter then walked up to us and sarcastically said, the manager will be here. Once again, not once did he ask about our meal, etc. When the manager came, I informed him of what you just read, and he said the bill is on me. When I asked about the waiter he stated he was too busy to address it, but he would. I believe he was full of it and it didnt get addressed. This is also the same manager who apparently was too busy to sanitize a table before seating the next guests. I will not eat here again, nor recommend.
Malik was very nice and the philly steak was good af
Cool bartender (sorry cant remember his name) good beer
All of the staff seemed to be in a horrible mood the day my family and I went here 11/17/19, except waiter with dreadlocks, he was helpful and very apologetic on behalf of his co-workers. We were ignored, our food was not cooked properly. We spent a lot of money at this establishment. Customer service training definitely suggested
Nice place. Food was good, drinks were very good. Had video games for the kids. Their whiskey sour was darn good.
We love the Luau Lounge, the micro-bar hidden in the back of Players! Some of the best views on the waterfront, super nice bartenders and did we mention arcade games...? A nice place to have a drink and a little nosh after a nice day of sailing on the bay. Highly recommended. Guest docking? Show them your key and tell them that the marina sent you!
Had my husbands birthday party here - it was a daytime event for families with small kids. It was a fun and all the kids were well fed and entertained. Cool games with the usual tickets so the kids can buy prizes. Great water views and beer for the adults. The staff are helpful and friendly, very accommodating! Highly recommend this for celebrating events with different age groups, something for everyone.
Super delicious burgers (veggie especially). Service was great for the fact it was really busy. The teas are super delicious and Im really happy they have vegan options. The horizon breakfast bowl is so good.
Server with the wooden bow tie was really rude. Odd to see someone involved with customers act like that.
Fun spot. Good view and great service!
Best spot to visit - being young and free never gets old. My favorite thing to do was shooting hoops and seing the guys faces when I completed each session.
Food was nice and plentyful. Staff were helpful and efficient, good for an easy meal.
Overal not a good visit. There was 1 waiter covering all of the tables in our area, and serving as the bartender. Very understaffed, and so service was slow. When the food came out, two orders- MR steaks- came out very WD. They were so bad they had to be sent back. Chowder came out late, way after the other meals. Chicken sandwich, fish tacos, and chowder were okay, but not great. The restaurant is overpriced, and totally a part of the pier’s tourist trap. Our server was very nice, but there was only so much he could do by himself. I would stay away from this place.
Had fun with my husband and little kid
Great place for a beer and game watch. Not so wide variety of drafts but great food service and atmosphere.
Hawaiian themed bar with a nice ocean view is great..Friendly staff makes it a great place to have a few beers while taking a break...
