Stumbled upon this wonderful little walk and view during a recent trip to San Francisco!! Absolutely beautiful neighborhood and views!!
Ever wonder why there are no cemeteries in San Fran? Well, this landmark USED to be the final resting place for Russian sailors who had perished in the area. But when powerful people decided that beautiful real estate in San Fran was being wasted on the dead, laws were passed to protect the people and the bodies were all removed...or were they? Very interesting history of what happens when those in positions of power take advantage of the people and line their pockets as a result. San Fran is really a very interesting place!
Nice view over San Francisco. Hidden little spot with a little park.
Have you discovered these steps yet? The hills are filled with these secret steps cum gardens. Love them all. This is right by Inas Coolbrith Park and offers amazing views and so many gorgeous flowers here. A fantastic Russian hill neighborhood to dream about as you walk around. Very close by its the russian hill-vallejo crest historic district with more gorgeous views and steep upward climbing.
This is a great view and you should go there to make out with your boyfriend or girlfriend
One of the best views in the city!!

Love it
Interesting placque about how Russian Hill got its name.
Nice escape hatch from the bustling streets of SF
One of my favorite small parks in the city. I thought for years this was called “Poet’s Peak”. Is anyone still calling this area that?
Great hidden spot to catch breathtaking views. Come on a sunny clear day to see the entire Bay!
Beautiful views of the city.
Best hiking and view top of the hill
One of San Fransiscos best views
