Great place to sit and have lunch on those park benches with golden gate views

Iconic SF skate spot with banks and mini pyramid. Do NOT park at the hospital, and do not make tons of noise or you risk the federal police paying you a visit.

Its a beautiful place on the coast side, farther inland is the SF VA Medical Center.

Thank God for the V.A. Medical center/ school. There are some very good doctors and students who are very happy to be part of such a great institution.

You never write a bad review of a hospital when youre the patient there. All I can say is they have great doctors.

Fort miley is such a cool spot. We went to a mini skateboard event out there super windy but a great feel to the area

This place has some killer views! We went to check out the skate spot and loved every second of it!

Despite the good condition of the VA medical center the decaying military buildings and former lookout post have fallen to being covered by vegetation and moss. Still the surrounding area is very nice earning at least one more star. This facility should be cared for and opened up to the public.

This is the medical center that serves our men and woman in uniform. I took my Uncle there for his various appointments and hospital stays over several years and found the staff to be of the highest caliber and only wanting to provide the best care and service.

As a Vet im glad to have medical help this close.

Many unilateral decisions were made regarding my health and what I need without my input. This upset me greatly .

Good place for veterans to get help/assistance with a variety of programs. Theres cheap messhall food, a barbershop, a small store, pharmacy, mental health services, and many other services. The bus (the 38) drops you off at the VA.

Its a veterans affairs hospital with an open campus. The canteen has meals to purchase and spectacular views of the ocean, Golden gate bridge. Plus trails to hike.

I thank the dear Lord for Ft. Miley. Saved my life. Good Doctors who helped me through my recovery after coming home from war with a drug problem.

The parking is pretty convenient and you can hike all around Lands End from here. Such a beautiful spot!

Inadequate parking in front, bldg 212, and big back rear new garage by old Ft Miley.Cafeteria has good views but uncleaned tables and ify food.Main hospital building is not Nearly as clean as a Navy frigate, litter left all over waiting rooms. Lots of sticky public hand surfaces all over. And bathrooms need work.Staff is better than bigger Palo Alto, but not as good as much smaller San Bruno.Audiology will ear pick earwax once, then ENT uses a loud long-time painful vacuum machine. Pass!Colonoscopy fought for months against GoLightly prep versus gallon of salt water. Also on no sedation. Why?MRI fought for months about no mid day appts, then relented. Why?PEP/Patient Experience Program told me unopened drugs were returnable for $8 credit each. Nope.Yikes!
