This place is packed with so many different genres of food that its impossible to get bored with coming here. The lines and wait times for food are usually pretty long here. Its also hard to get adequate seating, especially for larger groups.The food is pretty great! Its definitely worth a visit or two for the average foodie.

I love Old Town! Ive been coming here from Irvine since 1977 and now that I live in Mission Hills its so close and fun. Today was my birthday and I couldnt think of a better place to spend it. The shops, the food, the drink, the ambiance, the weather and the personnel were five star. The City of San Diego - negative 10 stars for a $60 parking ticket where we parked on Juan Street by Heritage Park.

I would recommend this place. If you wanted to know the history, you must be here...

If you like the sets of the TV show Westworld you will like Old Town. Taking you back in time the town has maintained its historic image. It all looks like one big museum . A great place to visit with friends and family when in San Diego.

Lovely market in Historic Town! Many shops in narrow alleyways selling Mexican goods and souvenirs. It’s like taking a mini trio to Mexico.

Casa De Reyes in old Town. Shaded in the summer, great food, kids welcome, average appetizer, $10, dinner average, $15. Great drinks, live shows. Perfect spring ride.

I loved it, its so pretty and theres a lot of cool places to take pictures at. Just make sure to arrive early if you wanna find a good parking spot.

Such a cool experience! My family and I dropped by while exploring the Old Town and the music drew us in. It was so nice to see people dancing and hanging out and there isnt something like this where I live in Georgia. The smell of food wafting through the air was AMAZING. It smelled SO good. The stores were cute and quirky and we browsed in many of them. I would definitely love to come back when we are in the area again!

Great place to walk around with lots of native art

I love old town. It’s a must see if you’re from out of town - also a statement place for families and if you’re from around here.

Old Town market is a place you want to visit when coming to San Diego. There is plenty of shopping, eating and sightseeing. Plan on spending at least 1 day in the area. There is even a haunted hotel!

The market was pretty nice. There was diversity day celebrations with lots of musical performances and exhibits. It was a lively atmosphere. There are lot of food options around. The place is pretty big for any big event. Not sure of parking though.

A real historic park and a lot to see of the past. Great food and I enjoyed the band, I wish I had more time to spend here I still wanted some more.

We love it here! Shops, restaurants, atmosphere...all of it is so much fun and always lively. We visit as often as we can.

I think this part of city reflects Mexican cloture. It full by every think you want from Mexico. I hope I have more time to spend it in this market.

Beautiful views. Very nice stores everywhere. Nicely priced items. Unique items for everyone back home. Something for everyone. Loved the nice walk around and the Old Town Trolly Tour was AMAZING!! Will definitely be doing that again when we come back.

Fun place. A bit touristy, but fun nonetheless. If youre here and youre hungry, go to Harney Sushi. Really really good place.

Family tradition to go to old town and vistit all the shops and learn about the history. Our kids love it and we cant wait to go back!

Great early California history and shopping for unique goods. Dont miss the tile and pottery store. Mindblowing variety and good prices. The tobacconist store is also a fun place to visit, even if you dont smoke. Good Mexican restaurants, ask for discount coupons at the Mormon Battalion Visitors Center. You can spend as much time as youd like in Old Town. Lots of free parking

We love it here. Been visiting since I was a little one. Now raising my son on this little piece of history. Makes for fun day trips or staycation. They also have press penny machines on almost every block!!

Very beautiful place . Must visit this place if you are in San Diego. The old town market gives you feeling of old times. In some of the shops people wear old time dress. Wonderful place to visit .

Loved the place! Its much larger than one might think and lots of shops for getting souvenirs. Jerky shop was the best for me as we got taste the jerky before getting some to go and getting a root beer float along with it was great!

Fun place to roam around.. you never know what you cant live without

A little kitschy with shops selling the same stuff. The restored houses turned into museums were interesting history. A nice way to spend an afternoon.

Old Town has so much to do and see. Museums, original adobes, great shops and restaurants. Just a short hike to the site of the original presidio and mission as well.

Great place had a heck of a time really liked it a lot crowd is was awesome people were nice I think you would really enjoy yourself as well I recommend this place

Old Town Market is a great shopping area! Tons of unique n beautiful things from Mexico! If u need something different or special for a Christmas gift, forget Amazon or the mall, try Old Town!

Excellent place for San Diegos early history, with the old buildings, museum and all the unique shops and restaurants, it makes for a fun place to visit for the day and a great place for vacationers to check out!!! I highly recommend it!!!

So many cute shops and wonderful foods. We love Rust General Store for their tapenade sandwich buns..and the soap store for their adorable elves and Santas and soaps.

My trip to Old town was a delightful turn of events from another trip that was planned. If youre an old soul or just simply find life before the automobile interesting youll like this place. Its a very family oriented park/strip of small shops that keep things old school but still take debit. Great Time.

Loved Old Town...went to look around and shop...found awesome shops with great finds for souvenirs, great eateries, friendly people talked with many there, live music occasionally...A truly enjoyable experience. Even my daughter who wasnt enamoured with San Diego, loved Old Town.

We get on the trolley there and shop with my wife there all the time very nice peaple at the stands

I had not been here in probably 15 years so I was excited to see what had changed. A lot has changed! It has become very niche and touristy with the same cheesy souvenirs in every shop. There are a couple shops that stand out as gems so it can be a nice walk for a few hours with the family.

This wasnt on my priority list but after going it was far better than expected. Quant shopping and interesting things. Not over priced.

Old town is a great place to go for people of all ages. Definitely a must see.

I have always enjoyed going to Old Town San Diego. Marriott hotels and Best Western close-by along with plenty of Mexican restaurants and shopping good location and also not far from the beach.

What a charming informative tour! We were visiting our friends that live in California but who had never been on the tour either. There were six of us total. It is the best way to learn some history about the area. We were able to disembark at various locations to get up close and personal with some of the sites our tour guide told us about. We didnt have to worry about finding our way around and wasting time to find parking. I highly recommend this tour to anybody. We found out this company runs tours in other major attraction areas so we will definitely be utilizing those tours also. We also went on the Seal-boat tour by this same company and it was just as fabulous.

Prices are surprisingly reasonable in some shops. Enjoy.

I love love love this spot! So touristy and full of knick knacks to give to people from out of town. What I mostly love about this spot is its supposedly haunted, as many things are in Old Town but, this spot specifically. Its a really cute store to peruse through while down in old town and the energy here is great! Keep your eyes out you might see something rare going on.
