The softball field in the back of the rec center is in good condition. The lights must have been replaced because the outfield is much brighter, especially right field. Good overall experience playing in the SoCal softball league.

Great community park and rec center. My kids love coming here to play and get energy out. Tú here are two playgrounds located at this park designed for ages (2-4) & (5-12).

I really like Serra Mesa and its spots like this that influence my love for it.

There are two playgrounds (theyre supposed to be split by age, under 5 and over 5, but I think theyre pretty fluid) which are tucked back far away from the road. There is a fence most of the way around it. Lots of sand, swings, and slides. The big kid section has some really cool climbing challenges. Theres also plenty of grass and shade. There are bathrooms, but Im not sure if they are usually unlocked. There is a drinking fountain in the soccer field.

Amazing place for fun but needs security a lot of young girls get harassed there.

Close to my house, and a good place to play basketball, baseball, throw a football, and even take your dog to run around. I just wish people would clean up after their dogs. Minimal dog feces, but still there sometimes.

Its all good. No problems this way. Keep on doing your thang. Now that schools out, and its about to be summertime, and you got the meals thang going on, keep it going. If possible,keep it going throughout the summer.

Was able to go and barbecue for the 4th of July and the children were able to play at the playground while we barbecued it was nice and pleasant and quiet

Nice community center, kids playground, indoor and outdoor basketball courts. Even a gated track area nearby that is shared with the elementary school, I believe. Anyways, great place to get a variety of activities for everyone.

I play softball here and field is always in great shape. Field lights have been needing repair for months and needs to get fixed. No permanent bathrooms on the lower field, they have a new Porta potty finally.

My daughter loves coming here.

Great to play softball most days of the week. Well maintained field.

This place has two playground areas, indoor/outdoor basketball courts, youth programs, and even free lunch for the kids during the summer. Its a good rec center.

Beautiful ballrooms! They had an old timey choir singing all the classic Christmas songs. They also had an amazing ginger bread town!!

A good place for kids of many ages, unfortunately during the school year the older kids play basketball or hang out and they curse a lot. So parents with young kids beware, the employees will do nothing add they say its not a part of their job.

Great place for kids afterschool. Walking distance to nearby schools and stores ( 7-11, CVS, Subway, etc..) Basketball courts also a plus

Plenty of playgrounds for all sizes. Facilities are well maintained.

Softball fields are taken care of and the out house is not the worst Ive been on.

Park is clean and maintain nice play area for the kids.

I love taking Macs here to run around, and more importantly, Macs loves it here!

I never have a problem when I go there.

Lack of placed to sit near playset for parents and lack of shade for parents too. I had my 3month old with me as my toddler was playing and it was uncomfortable to try to keep her shaded.

3 fields for softball practice, 2 of which are excellent!

Serra Mesa Park has two playgrounds and is adjacent to the Serra Mesa Rec center where you can find a bathroom. There is also a joint use field that was just opened in 2016 with another bathroom and a large expanse of green grass.

Best place for hot days.
