Very popular, large community park in the middle of UTC. Lots of people are here but its never crowded, because of its sheer size.It has baseball fields, sand volleyball courts, soccer fields, dog parks (for small and large dogs, respectively), and multiple playgrounds for children (one has lighting at night). The place is well maintained: Restrooms have toilet papers and handwashing liquid. Trash cans are not overflowing. Lighting works. Grass mowed. Dog parks have chairs that are not stolen.

Been coming here since i was a teen...lovely paths for walking/jogging, lush green fields for picnics, cute dogs, great sunsets, and almost everyone wears masks!

Great for a 2 year old who is coordinated and loves to climb. Very friendly kids and parents and very diverse as well. All children need this exposure to our diverse community to build tolerance, and a love of physical activity!

Great park for long lap walks. Only one outdoor basketball rim.

The best, out of the way play area ever!! There are four different areas for the kids to play in with swings, slides, ramps, money bars, and even a tire swing. I highly recommend this place.

This is the best dog park in the Bay Area. Hike for an hour or more in the off leash area. Throw sticks into the surf and watch your dog gleefully crash into the waves. Watch your dog run around with other dogs in a large enough area that they can easily sustain a full sprint. Ive never seen a dog fight here, nor abandoned poop. There is no easy access to fresh water at the parking lot, so its good to bring a five gallon jug and extra towels to rinse off the dog before you leave.

Great big park. Lots of stuff for small kids and bigger kids to do. In 2020, about 2/3 of the kids were wearing masks. More than not.

I had to spend the night in the dog park bc I was robbed and abducted and the neighbors on the opposite side of the fence who live there in AFFORDABLE housing granted by the San Diego housing section purposely kept me awake all night and threw napalm on me.

Good park but people tend to bring that unleashed dogs in the area that is meant for kids. Management needs to fine them to make this a five star park in UTC area.

Great place to meet friends or family for a picnic while maintaining social distancing. Lots of shade trees for hot days.

Beautiful, hugely spacious park, full of tall trees, and covered with richly green grass, shrubbery & flowers; also birds aloft, and pets being walked by their owners. I love being out in nature, exercising outdoors, and feeling the richness of nature.

Doyle park is great for older kids. They have a very well designed play structure for them. Flooring is all rubberized so very safe for kids to play. Lots of space for kids to bike and scooter around. For younger kids the options are limited, play structures are alright not the best, it’s not rubberized just sand, few swings and couple of play houses. There is a huge ground for play and a walk path for walkers get their exercise. 5/6 benches around the whole area. The whole community park is big but could be better!

I love coming to Doyle Park. It is very convenient for my son and I. There are bathrooms which is wonderful and they have to designated areas to play.

This is a good community park. Bring my dog here from time to time and they usually have lots of children playing, xometimes a baseball or softball game. Lots of greenery and a big enough place to get in a decent walk.

Nice big park with many differents places within it depending on what you like doing in parks. If you like quiet parks there is an area for that too. Relaxing

Great spacious park with jogging trails, outdoor basket ball court, baseball court and lots of grass for kids to play around and bathrooms. Inside the building, there is a book nook, table tennis court, indoor basket ball and volleyball courts. They also have several seperate rooms for recreational classes. They recently renovated all the swings. Bathrooms are inside the building as well as outside. Park also has two seperate dog parks for small and big dogs.

Its quiet but I wish there were more trees on the walking trail. Dog park currently closed July 2019

There are 2 separate dog parks here for small dogs and big dogs along with 3 different playgrounds, a recreation center, a huge field with 3 baseball diamond areas, basketball courts, volleyball courts, Bar-B-Q stations, bathrooms and more. This is my go to park with my kids, and we always have a good time here as it is peaceful, clean and so much fun!!

I love this park, the green space is beautiful. It has two fenced-in doggy parks, one for smaller dogs and another for the bigger pooches. Lots of picnic tables in the sun and under trees for shade. Sand volleyball area, fenced in, as well as basketball court. This place has.areas for kids to play, baseball diamonds, and soccer fields, all fenced. So many fences.

We had a great time. Loved all the extra shaded spots through out the grounds. Restrooms could use some love but other then that got no complains.

Its a nice park for kids to play. Lots of activities and open area. We go there almost every weekend.

This park was HORRIBLE!!!! Had a tournament there...the grass was never cut...lots of holes, field was not set up properly for the age group playing, and to top it off...the ref was over 20 min late!!!! Our team will request for a refund and will refuse to play there for future tournaments.

Its a bit crowded usually there is a dog park and two playgrounds. Its pretty fun to walk around for a while but wouldnt reccomend it as an all day thing.

Well, Im impressed, they actually named this place. reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, Doyle Community Park, Regents Road, San Diego, CA 10/10 for the name!

If it wasnt so close to Nobel Park, I would give it a full five. Its got a cement sidewalk for roller blading, monkey bars, workout stations, a dog park, and a gigantic soccer field. Plus plenty of tables Its nice.

Its a really nice & spacious park. Sometime dog owner let their dog pee on the grass despite the fact that there is another dog park close by. I am concerned about kids & teens playing soccer, tennis, & other games in the park and they fall quite often on the grass. I worry that microbes may infect childrens wound.

This review is for the dog park portion of the park. I like how there is a small dog / big dog separation if thats what you prefer. There is also a water source in the small dog park which is nice, and 2 benches along with some chairs. Not too crowded but limited parking so sometimes its a little bit of a walk.

Why no grass in the dog park??. Terrible set up!

Went there on a beautiful sunny day with 77 degree weather. Awesome day at the park.

Pretty good park. I bring my 2 year old here to play. Theres shade over part of the 2-5 year old play area, picnic tables, and a restroom. Because my husband and I believe in clean parks for kids to play in, we are often picking up trash. Wish the park were cleaner. Consistent litter around the picnic area. I dont like having to tell my son, please dont play with that. Its trash. However, good place to teach kids how to pick up rubish and throw it away. I wish people had more pride in where they live and play.

Great dog park! No wood chips or sand or anything annoying like that just dirt and gras. Always plenty of trash cans, doggy bags, and rakes to pick up any feces. Always very clean and usually lots of dogs.

Safe and so so much fun! I keep a vigilant eye out for safety, and this place is kid safe! Also, adult friendly playground for helo parents!

I enjoy this park. Normally pretty clean.I like to walk my dogs around it. However, there are too many people who walk around without their dogs being on a leash. I dont understand that when there is a leash free dog park on location.My dogs are a little skittish so I walk them around on leash and it is frustrating when dogs approach us without warning. Especially when there are signs EVERYWHERE that say to please keep your dog on a leash.
