Mira Mesa Community Park is a vast  beautiful and open space purposed to improve our physical and psychological health, and strengthen our community and make our City and neighborhoods more attractive places to live and work. For sure the park needs additional attention to make sure its clean and healthy to encourage the people to frequently enjoy it.

Large grass areas with baseball fields, picnic tables and a playground. No barbecues but they are allowed and have places to dump your cold. Nice gazebo available with reservation. Only restrooms are inside of Rec Center which is not always open.

Wonderful, beautiful neighborhood park. Not enough parking for events, but good on an ordinary day. Some shade. Basketball courts, baseball fields, bleachers, a small playground for kids.Huge new park across the street with better baseball and playground.

Awesome shaded park with a great community of local families who visit regularly. I love that the big and little playgrounds are so close together and theres plenty of seating. The baseball fields serve as a good fenced in free play area when not in use for sports.

Very nice park. It was expensive to build. If there were not 2 foot high weeds in the planters I would give it a fifth star.

Nice play structures under shade. 2 water fountains nearby. There is a covered cement area with 3 cement tables but that may be reserved for an event and can not be sued by public at that time. Overall nice respectful kids with attentive caring parents is a plus always.

Big open park. Plenty of space to enjoy during covid times. Beautiful scenery.

Went about 4:30 like everyday. Normally very safe, relaxed and comfortable. Tonight, different crowd, different vibe. Did not feel any of what I said.

This park is getting completely remodeled with a new community pool. The park itself straddles New Salem Street and across the street from the rec room is supposed to be done within this month (Dec 2017) and it looks like they make the deadline. Directly after the east side is done, they should be starting the pool side (where the rec room currently stands).This is our tax money at work and it looks awesome so far!

Fine family place for picnic.

Beautiful new playground and fields open. It looks like they did a really good job. Going to enjoy taking my son there to play.

Great place to chill out with kids, have some benches so you can plan for picnic as well. Parking is free. There are parks actually for kids, one looks new and one is bit old.but both good enough for kids

Big park, grassy areas, ballfields, basketball courts and play structures for both toddlers and older kids. Public bathrooms and drinking fountains. The fields and courts are open to the public for us. Best part is the shades over the playgrounds. Makes it a good place to play outside even on a hot day.

Came here for the Tet festival. Not as populated as last year but fun experience for the kids.

New structures. A nice place for my kid to run around and burn some cals

Excellent family park and sports area, very clean decent parking, modern jungle gym equipment.

Just an open field. Not much to do beside special event. During the event, everything was on the pricey sode.

I love this space in this community for kids and babies very clean all the time

The new added park and more parking spaces make this one of our favorite parks to hang out, walking, scootering, playing balls.

A newly renovated park.. It has a long trail to walk.. Children in nearby community have a very nice time there.. The park would be mostly crowded.. It has an outdoor playground area too.. There won’t be more shadows..

Outdoor hoops, open space, picnic tables..very nice

HUGE! Love that. We play cricket in the mornings on weekends. Have seen lot of people playing baseball and football/soccer too!

The new additions to the park are amazing! I have been conducting paint parties here for children and they love it!

Even though I live here it can be cleaned up a bit and I try to clean this place and it isnt even my job

Most of everything in the area is safe and clean and not many bugs and the bathroom are not as bad as the other park bathroom

Great place to hang out especially for pets. They also have indoor basketball and pingpong for free.

This park has a very large playing field ..i have always seen more than one match being played here..has basketball area and tabletennis too..the play are is equipped with new play structures but mostly heavily crowded during evening times..has trails for dogs and the restrooms are fine..i habe seen few bday parties celebrated here and i think this place is nice for such parties ..overall a good place for walk jog to take a stroll or relax :)

Great playground for the kids to play.

Good place to take a walk, relax, workout, watch a game. Theres shopping centers nearby, food places, everything within walking distance :). Only thing I dont like is that cars speed alot in this area. So be alert

Mira Mesa park is very clean and well kept. The park has been upgraded and have a new baseball field and plenty of new playground for the little ones. It has Nice place to run or walk and plenty park benches and tables.

I walk here often. The recreational center built in 1977, making it the older than anything. The public bathroom north of it, across the road.

I love parks and this is one of my favorite parks. Theyre doing some construction as of me writing this review, so its possible things will change. For now, my biggest gripe is parking. More spots would be great.So this park is located in the heart of mira mesa, close to a library, and includes fields and basketball courts and ping pong tables inside a recreation center. The rec center is nice and theres tons of activities. Theres even a playground for the kiddos.Its probably my favorite park in mira mesa. Easy walk to tons of shops and restaurants.

Great place for kids baseball games

This park is great, which is probably why its used for events so often. People are always out here picnicking, playing sports, hanging out. I dont think Ive ever seen trash laying around here. Lots of space and tables with benches placed around.

Mira Mesa Park is awesome. I went for the night market. An amazing night time faire that has live music and a lot of food. Definitely a great park.

Great place to watch fourth of July fireworks

Very nice community! Basketball court, and hugmongus playing field for most sports activities!! Limited parking spots, but more than enough even if you get there by midmorning, early afternoon. Also theres another park right accross from it!

Nice park for Basket Ball, team sports, has a new rec center across street. Also, Pokemon stop there. Was doing Legenday Raid that day. Sometimes at night, playing pick up for Bball there can be a wait. Over the past few years have never seen drug use, maybe a occasionally foul, but not street ball. Rest rooms available. Use Hill Top Park for night ball now. Not as crowded. Clean games, restrooms, bar b que areas. Good family place. No drugs or sketchy activity seen. 2 Pokemon gyms, a few stops. Understand U were asking about Mira Mesa Community Park. Give both places a 5 star rating.

The new park is too good with attractive play structures

This place is full of muddy holes, tables are old! Paint chipping off all over the place! Where you watch basketball games there is maybe 3 or 4 benches to sit on everyone else stands up. Not enough teams so kids play same teams all season! Dont recomend it at all!

A beautiful locality and well maintained park

Nice Park for kids. They have a community center and hosts kids sports here. They have a nice playground as well that is separated into a toddlers area and kids a little be older. Basically a small play area and a larger one with swings.

Great place to Walk and good kids playground

This park is still under construction, it has been 2 years now, do not know when it is going to open completely. It should be a good and big park when it is finished.

Awesome new park! Well worth the wait! Been waiting over 30 years for a new playground.

This is a brand new park across from the original park, very spacious, flat cement areas for kids scootering, large playground area for the kids, lots of climbing structures for larger kids, have to be careful as some of the climbing structures can be challenging and high off the ground for small children, few benches only near the play structures, fun 4 seater spinner yellow boat for the kids, parking is a little far to the kids playground, rope bridge that is high up which kids have to be careful when crossing, if you live locally it is better to walk, 2 softball fields, bleachers, lots of picnic tables and benches, restrooms, walking distance to Mira Mesa Blvd and the library, across from the community basketball gym. Spent 30 min gym, then crossed the road to the park for 1.5 hours. There is no pool and no grills. You can grill across the street at the original park and then picnic at the new park!

Amazing new park. My kids love it. The art is beautiful.

My daughter loves this new playground but its kind of limited with the play structures.
