If it werent for the current pandemic this would be my go-to bar. Dottie and Matt, the owners, are amazing. Dottie makes a mean drink, and Matt could not be nicer. The jukebox is banging! Im looking forward to seeing live shows there once we can. Happy Hour, and different daily specials. Drinks arent super pricey but it is a bar. Good choice of liquors, and beers. Fun decor. Comfy booths. I grabbed a seat at the bar and tried several Gin drinks. The Gimlet is my fave! Even the bathroom was fun! Give this cool, quirky, music filled place a go

Dope Dive. Love the setting. Cheap Drinks, good sound, local music. Definitely on my return list. Obviously its a Dive so there are certain things like the possibility of a stool having 2 legs or no paper towels in the bathroom but again its a Dive. And as far as dives go this one is Dope! Salute

Awesome spot to hang out. Super chil not too crowded. Strong drinks but good, good happy hour. Came on a night when an artist was featured and it was pretty cool. Should definetly check out for a nice cool chill place to drink.

The bartender on Sunday October 27th, which she would not reveal her name, was extremely rude. I was waiting for a group of about 15 others to come and enjoy karaoke and I ordered a non alcoholic drink. While I was in the middle of a group text she demanded I pay her immediately. I asked her if she could please give me a moment and she stood in front of me for about 3 minutes until I finished my conversation. Then I paid her. After which time I heard her complaing about me to other customers at the bar. Very rude and inconsiderate. I just got here and myself and about 15 others will not be coming back and will be elsewhere on Sundays because of her.

Best dive bar close to Talmadge. Staff is always friendly. Music is the best. El Cajon Blvd and Euclid.

Definitely a dive bar, bones is really cool and able to make a lot of the bar classics that youd like to drink cool vibe off of El cajon boulevard and Fairmount definitely a good place to visit if youre looking for a small neighborhood bar thats not too crazy.

I go here to see Cochinas Locas, all girl punk band. This is a typical dive bar with a varied and interesting crowd. On occasion they have 70s soft porn playing on the TV screen above the bar which I think is unique and inventive for branding purposes.

The owners of this establishment are warm, wonderful people and that is reflected in the walls this fabulous venue. A must-see for any live music fan.

I attended a show here. The door man was funny and pleasantly quirky. He was a pleasure to meet. The audio sound is good, but the beer options are minimal. The stage and restrooms are right next to each other. Their restrooms are disgusting. The mens restroom has a strong urine scent that lingers all the way out to the stage area. I like dive bars, but this one just feels dirtier than most. At one point I was in the ladies restroom and a guy helped himself to a stall next to me. Um... not ok. The neighborhood was not safe, and finding parking was very difficult. Poor lit streets with shady characters was a concern. After the show, I speed walked to my car at 1am with my husband and dont plan on returning. Id rather skip a show than attend this place again.

Just turned 25 this past December, anyways the guy outside didnt let me in just cause my card was expired.(Thats stupid)I mean, was he checking if people are +21 yrsOr seeing who has theyre i.d valid?Aside of that, I was going because I knewa guy who played tonight.

My band played here a few weeks ago, looks super sketchy from the outside so my wife and I bailed until right before I had to go in. I was surprised at the space inside, and the extended stage area (which looks like it used to be the parking lot. The sound guy is pretty attentive, which was great. Had just enough room on stage and we could hear pretty good, a nice touch for a dive bar. Had Sculpin on tap, so that was A-ok! Im not from San Diego, but Id drop by from time to time if I was.

Although the bar was essentially empty, the bartender was awesome and we enjoyed ourselves. One thing that the owner must fix is the jukebox which has a very poor selection of music; and the bathrooms need some TLC.

I usually like this place rad music but the bartender the other day was kind of whack. Wouldnt serve me because she didnt know what a merchant mariners credential was. Sorry the cops took my license but this red passport is harder to get than a blue one. Check yourself.
