I did an OfferUp deal next to this building. There were Jehovahs Witnesses on the opposite corner staring at me standing and waiting. I didnt go into the building but it looks pretty cool. Before I exited the freeway to park next to the museum, a transient man was on the side of the freeway road gasping for water. The driver in front of me called paramedics and the driver behind me gave him a bottle of water. I hope hes doing okay.

Absolutely fantastic museum and tour. They dont do the tours off but when they do definitely go. The friends of the Villa who take care of the place are excellent.

Enjoyed the tour but we couldnt take pictures in the villa. No original furniture, everything was sold off or donated sadly.

A San Diego treasure. Every quarter of a year, they open the museum for guided tours. Sign up for their mailing list to be notified. Ive been twice during two different quarters, and though both the tours were given by the same volunteer, we learned new things about the house both times. The guides are extremely well-informed regarding the history of the house.
