I saw Silent Beauty at the Little Italy Art Festival in San Diego about 3 years ago. When I got home I couldn’t stop thinking about it. So I called and asked about the sizes. I finally made the decision after about a week to order one for my condo. When it was ready Jeff and another man (sorry, I don’t recall his name), delivered and hung the photo in my home. They were very nice, respectful and helpful. I didn’t expect the full treatment, but was happily surprised. My husband loves the piece as much as I do and it is frequently complimented by visitors to our home. I am confident I will not grow tired of this and I’m pretty sure my son will someday enjoy it in his home!I wish Bommarito continued success!

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary at Coronado, Ca, where we met Daniel. We noticed him taking photos of the San Diego skyline and struck up a conversation. Upon seeing his work, we immediately knew we needed one of his art pieces. We selected December Lights which depicts the very night we encountered. Silent Beauty has been bringing me joy for more than a year now. The San Diego city skyline and Coronado Bridge absorb and reflect light showing a different perspective each time I look at it. It is the perfect statement art piece for our downtown San Diego condo and it receives a lot of praise from our guests. Jeff and Daniel are fabulous to work with, A1! They went out of their way on every front.we were looking for a large vertical photo, ended up being 48 X 96. They asked me for photos of my space and than to my surprise sent me recommendations of photos superimposed on my space, this really helped to visualize what the finished product would be. We then went to their offices to view the samples and chose our photo. They were very helpful and patient from concept to the final art piece. I worked with Jeff to enlarge their Ocean Matrix photo, which was a visual I was totally looking for in our living room. It was great working with him to make this happen! I had met Jeff and Daniel at the Carlsbad Art Walk, and they have so many great pieces, that we ended up getting a few more for around the house. They really know how to capture the uniqueness and beauty of living in San Diego, and were really glad we saw their gallery! Once we have the photos hung, Ill post photos.

It may have been three years ago when I first discovered Bommarito beautiful photography. I could not get myself out of his space, memorized by the gorgeous work. That day I purchased 3 prints for my son who loves the ocean as I do. They maybe the best ocean wave photos I have ever seen. I had the most spectacular time with these two brothers at their art studio in south park, Daniel and Jeff Bommarito are two exceptional artist that went out of their way yo do a special project for me. I am so very fortunate that Jeff and Daniel were showing at the La Jolla Art and Wine Fest this year! I was looking for a gift for my homesick, native SD son who was transferred to SF. I found exactly what I was looking for- his favorite surf spot in Del Mar beautifully mounted on metal- gorgeous!!!! Daniel has been an inspiration as an artist and as a friend. The enthusiasm and drive he has toward capturing the best and most unique photos is unmatched. He has taught me everything I know about the art of photography and the skills necessary to be in the right place at the right time.It takes more than a quick Google search to get a remarkable shot and Dan has honed that research skill to a masters level. The first trip that Daniel guided for me was a tough 30 mile weekend trip through the Mineral King loop in the rugged Sierras. The goal was to make it to little five lakes on the night of the full moon, we had to push it hard to make up ground we had lost on our first day. With the sun setting, we made it to the goal location on day 2. The serene high mountain lake with the backdrop of the Kaweah range made it all worth it! The full moon lit up the landscape for an amazing night shoot. I wouldnt have been able to complete the Mineral King loop without Daniels rugged experience and motivation. I came home with some of my best photography and memories that will last a lifetime!My most recent experience with Daniel and his photo touring was a short trip through Yosemite into the Mono Lake Tufa State Natural Reserve and lastly up into the White Mountains for some astrophotography. I was limited on time for this trip and Daniel (somehow) figured out a way for us to hit all of these monumental locations within my scope. The White Mountains, Patriarch Grove, and the Bristlecone Pines with the Milky Way serving as background is still one of the most surreal experiences I have encountered.I HIGHLY recommend Daniel Bommarito for any photography related endeavors including his award winning fine art pieces. I have his Yosemite Firefall piece as the focal point of my home and I am constantly being asked how and who made this piece of art. I met Daniel at Horseshoe Beach in La Jolla while he was doing some ocean photography. He offered to take a couple of pictures of my dog (one of which is the best picture ever taken of him!). When I went online to see his work, I was stunned. Daniel can capture the ocean better than any other photographer Ive seen. He gets the angle, light and depth perfectly. Growing up on the beach, I feel it has influenced my life in many ways. Seeing his ocean and wave collection took my breath away.He has captured some of my favorite local places so elegantly - Surfers Sanctuary at Windansea and Dream Again at Scripps Pier. Green Sapphire, Green sea glass and Emerald Light bring back memories of dawn patrol or sunset surfing, where the sun hits the waves just right and it feels surreal. A few of his pictures remind me of some of the best waves Ive ever surfed (Surfer at Blacks, Horseshoe Left). Others are so beautiful that they look like a painting (Aqua Wave, Ocean Charm, Green Lantern).I cant say enough about Daniels talent - he has an eye for being in the right spot, in the right light, at the right time and capturing it.

Wow! Splendid eye and fantastic colors, capturing San Diegos finest views. I met Daniel on a sea side cliff overlooking La Jolla Cove earlier this year. I noticed his camera and we got to talking about photography. As we spoke he would occasionally raise the lens and pan across the water. Taking a single image of a set of swells advancing towards the sea shore. Later that day I found his Instagram account @bommaritofineart showcasing his work and similar images of colorful swells. I have been hooked ever since. This winter we have had an explosion of beautiful sunsets and I think to myself, where is Daniel shooting from tonight. Definitely worth a follow and a master of seeing San Diego through his lens.

Came across Bommarito Art booth at the Festival of Arts at Waterfront Park in San Diego in June 2019. Had to stop there; it was the busiest booth in the show with purchases being rung up by the minute and a wait to chat with the artist. Found just what I was looking for, a local coastal photo with just the right colors and subjects for my home. More of a added surprise was the exceptional customer service I received throughout the entire purchasing process. Both Daniel and Jeff came to my home, suggested sizing and materials for the print, rung up the sale, committed to a delivery schedule AND made it, communicated via text when they would arrive, always a few minutes ahead of schedule. The first morning I saw “Snowcapped Twilight” in my living room an involuntary “Oh” came from my mouth. It’s mounted on a southern wall above my couch. “Snowcapped Twilight” just glows in the natural light coming from the sliding glass door on the east side of the room. I love seeing it each morning as I come from my bedroom. I went to the SD Art Festival in Little Italy, a few months ago,,, mainly to see some artists from Tijuana.What I did not expect, because I normally do not purchase photography was the phenomenal, sometimes surreal sunsets and other natural vistas and scenes from Bpmmarito Art,,,I fell in love with them on the spot,,, but, of course I thought about it and walked away,, to view all the art at the festival,,,those images,, I could not get them out of my mind,,, when I returned I purchased four sunsets,, my favorite time of day,,, with their fabulous images,,, this was not easy,,,When I returned home to Glendale,,, I laid them out and absorbed them for a week,,, and decided,,, some thing was not clicking,,,,, why,,,I wanted larger images,,, of all four,,,I called the gallery and discussed what I wanted,Bommarito Art,, not a problem, not an issue,, and in less than a month,, I had what I wanted,, very large images of all four photos,,,It was close to mothers day, so my sisters were in for a treat, unexpected, I gifted them the first four that I purchased,After this experience, i went back to their website,,, and have already selected at least two more for the future,,, some times being a collector is bliss,,, my experience with Bommarito Art is one of those occasions...david diaz

I was coming in from another gorgeous sunset sesh, when Daniel was on the beach shooting some pics. He took multiple epicly beautiful pics of me posing with my board against, what can only be described as, a surreal backdrop on one of the most beautiful coasts in the world. His talent for photography is clear when you see his work. The pics he took are my Christmas gift to my folks this year and I cant think of a better gift for my folks, whom I only see a few times a year. He is incredibly talented and I am beyond grateful for our serendipitous crossing. Highly recommended to anyone looking for something beautiful to enhance your home aesthetic.

Stunning photo art! I was lucky enough to be in town for the Festival of Sail in San Diego and his art caught my eye!!! I purchased three, seriously PICTURE PERFECT, photos of San Diego bayside daytime, Coronado Bridge sunset, and my favorite Ocean Beach Pier sunset!! He was also nice and generous enough to personally sign my picture and wrap them carefully so I can carry with me on my plane ride back to FL :) Thanks Daniel!!! Im adding to my previous review that I wrote after my first workshop with Daniel. I flew back out to California from Miami for another workshop with Daniel in February. He took me on a tour of some of the best surf spots in San Diego on an absolutely epic day with waves up to 15+ feet. While we shot from the water in our last workshop, this time we shot from shore. Not only did Daniel take me to some of the best spots to get the shots (South Imperial Beach, Carlsbad and Blacks Beach), he constantly (and patiently) gave me tips on everything from camera settings to where to position myself to get the best shots and everything in between. Later in the day, a heavy fog rolled in over San Diego and instead of just packing it in, he suggested we head over to the pier in La Jolla and see what it looked like. What a call! The shots of the pier and under the pier with the heavy fog are absolutely magical, some of the best shots I have ever had the opportunity to take! It was an absolutely magical, ethereal scene! On top of ALL of that, he suggested a lunch location that had some of the best fish tacos Ive ever had! Talk about full service!! I said in my last review that I was looking forward to getting back out to SoCal to shoot with Daniel and with good reason. Believe me when I say I will make many more trips to shoot with him. In fact, I already have another trip planned. Contact Daniel, you wont be disappointed!!I was lucky enough to meet Daniel at an art show on Coronado the last time I was home in California and get in on a Bommarito Photo Workshop that was focused on shooting waves in the water. We shot the next two days and his coaching and pointers saved me, I would guess, hundreds of hours of trial and error!! Daniel was super enthusiastic, excited to help and share his knowledge, and seemed as stoked as I was to be out there. It was BY FAR the most fun Ive ever had with my camera. I grew up in Southern California bodysurfing with my brother and our friends but I moved away many years ago. He definitely got the rust off my timing the waves and helping me find the clean water! The combination of an epic south/southwest swell, perfect wind conditions and Daniels enthusiastic help led to two days of pure joy!! I am definitely looking forward to my next chance to get back out to San Diego and work with Daniel again. I wish there was a rating higher than five stars!

Friends of Tecolote Canyon, a non profit organization that provides educational nature field trips for student within Tecolote Canyon in San Diego appreciates Daniel Bommaritos awesome photography skills and insightful nature interpretation. Recently, with his permission, we used one of his photos for a Tecolote Canyon promotional card and several others for a new temporary display in Tecolote Nature Center.
