I hope that the owner of this store will take notice of my comments. I visit this store about 3-4 times a week. Have to tell you what an outstanding employee Sam is. I have seen her handle difficult people with tolerance & patience. Not easy to work here for a young female. I hope you recognize that keeping good employees is crucial. Give that girl a raise!!! She deserves it..

Mercury Books gives the city character. It feels...defiant and dignified. The smell of books, books, and books. The smile of the helpful guy behind the counter. The quiet, the culture, the safe haven from the swarming North Beach. Whats not to love?

This store has the best customer service AND selection! I prefer this store over the other adult shops in this area, by far!

Sam was such a great person to chat with. Makes the whole experience very comfortable and friendly. She made my whole experience a lot simpler and more relaxed, most store clerks make you feel uncomfortable to buy items like this but she was informative and nice about every question I had. You rock Sam.

I went there today for first time and the Clerk a Hispanic lady is friendly and easy going, I requested change for singles for the arcade, which she promptly gave to me even though once I went into Arcade, I realized they have a change machine! So I appreciated that she let me find out on my own and gave me change regardless. By the way the place was spotless and even the tall guy who was cleaning was very polite when I asked if they had a bathroom. So, I really enjoyed my visit here!

The product selection is amazing and well organized. All battery operated toys are tested at the counter which is great! Plenty of sexy lingerie and adult toys to get you in the mood! Love this place!
