Such a unique place to meditate and take in nature. It is on private property so ask for permission and be respectful. There was someone on the grounds and I was able to obtain permission to proceed. They confirmed that it’s a popular place.Quick walk from the street to the pillar. Some parking on the outside. The terrain can be tough if it rained.Beautiful views of the lake as well. I have T-Mobile and I had service. Google maps got me there. I would recommend downloading the map before u head to the area as the reception was spotty.

I spent a lot of time there on Unification Church retreats in the early 1980s. The mens bunk house was actually the basement of the beautiful Mozumdar Temple structure. Its one of the most beautiful peaceful places Ive ever experienced. Some of the best memories I have.
