Ask for Tom to be your Personal Guide about the museum. Very knowledgeable, friendly people person. I highly recommend visiting the Norton Air Force Base Museum.
A small museum that is staffed by knowledgeable and friendly docents. One room with items from the base and history of people that were once stationed there. We also saw a section of the Berlin wall.
Being in the area, we jumped at the chance to visit the museum. Our guide was a veteran who himself had been stationed at Norton AFB, Bill Mitchell. He was so knowledgeable and spoke with such pride. He greeted us outside the museum and gave a detailed explanation of the outdoor area memorials and then walked us through the displays indoors. Do visit, especially if you have some connection. Memories of those talks with my dad sprang to life. If lucky, you may meet some other veterans who stop by during the tour. It was uplifting to meet them and to visit where my dad had spent those years .
Must see really enjoyed every minute!
Small, but lots of history. Best part they have Docents who served at Norton AFB.
Small but interesting. Had guided tour, very nice one, but carried on with stories. I enjoyed to hear them but not the kids. Go with out kids not much there for them.

We had a very good guide, with great stories
Great people but limited openings.
I highly recommend going to this place. The staff was very welcoming and made you feel at home. They gave you a personal tour and showed you around. The people that took you on the tour are people who where in the air force and worked and lived on base. They had so much info and made me appreciate what the people who work to help protect us even more
So much history in one room! The docents very friendly and knowledgeable. Ask for a tour !!
Neat little place, staffed by knowledgeable Veterans who are now volunteers. Make sure to take your time, and also check out that chunk of Berlin Wall outside!! Long live Captain James E. Herrmann!
There was lots to see and some stuff to touch. I had a veteran take me on a tour with just my family. There was some fun activities for kids to do.
They have a piece of the Berlin Wall here as well as lots of neat memorabilia from the Air Force. Plus some great Veterans are here to give tours and talk about the base before it closed.
Wonderful museum, with passionate & knowledgeable volunteers. Great memorabilia from Norton AFB. Definitely must visit IF you remember Norton AFB back when it was an actual AFB.
Was closed for me but they have the piece of the Berlin Wall and that was great to see.
A lot of history here. The volunteers are very nice and helpful, sharing their stories.
Great place to visit. Awesome tour guides, very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend!
