Good park lots of open space for any event

Crockett park is such a lovely place to gather with friends and family. Every year people gather to celebrate San Antonio Pride with a festival and parade and Crockett Park is the primary meeting grounds. Other than SA Pride, Crockett Park can be a very quiet and enjoyable time.

We took our daughter to Crockett Park on our vacation to San Antonio and she had a great time. We played frisbee and then had a picnic. I also was able to teach her some of Texas History and about Davy Crockett and the Alamo.

Great place for the whole family with kids while mom or dad attend to any appointments or business in north downtown area . Make your wait time ; into play time . At no expense .

Sat there and rode a bus with my buddy downtown.Very serene

Nice park in the middle of everything. Watch out for the roaming homeless individuals.

Its tranquil in the morning. Almost no one around and its clean.

I bring my toddlers here on weekends and have been for awhile. Its not usually crowded and they have a nice dog park across Main and a lawn. Theres usually a portable RR on weekends. Pretty basic playground, no shade, very few seating options. Ive always found it clean, graffiti free and equipment in good working order, which is a huge success for a downtown area park. I wish they had toddler swings, but we make do. Bring refreshments, as the closest restaurant is a bar. :)

Took my friend to his doctors appt n waited at park...no problem parking...full of shade ..very CLEAN, great park for kids, right by San ANTONIO COLLEGE..restaurants near by..got Bill Millers n ate there while i waited.....great job San Antonio the community will ENJOY it

Its an open park with a gazebo in the middle couple of tables but thats about it. Just alot of open space.

Great Park, there is just no restrooms near by. So we had to cut our trip short.

I went for pride and stayed all day it was fun

Stopped to have a picnic with my family because it was close to where we were. Crockett Park is a small party bisected by Main Ave. There are not many picnic tables, the one we found in the shade was missing one of the seats. There was not really a reason to linger, so we ate our food and left.

Its a very small park but nice to have lunch here. There are lots of homeless people around though.

Had a blast at PRIDEfest. The park is a little small for the crowd, but the crowd was bigger than ever!

Its simple, fresh, and has a variety of people to just watch or interact with. Theres a lot of shade and its kind of a hub for anyone new to the bus system to get just about anywhere they need to, in San Antonio

This is really just a walkthrough space. Not enough trees. They do hold events here.

Nice clean park with a playground, benches, picnic tables and a gazebo. No bathrooms and no parking. We walked up with the kids while waiting to be seated at Lulus Cafe.

Had a nice time at the playground with my grandson Kaelob. He wasnt allowed in the doctor office do to them not letting young children in the waiting room.

While there are homeless people who hang out here it is a peaceful park to walk my dog.

Its a very nice park.. but half the fountains werent working

I live across the street in the Aurora apartments and see all kinds of things happening at the park but I would highly advise people with children to stay away from the Park area where the Gazebo is especially dont pick up the Rocks around gazebo as men tend to urinate there
