Austin and Garrett were excellent hosts! They were very clear and thorough with the room rules and made sure everything was safe and clean for our party before we entered. I would highly recommend this for a good experience!

I wish they had a TV showing the timer countdown. There was a TV in the room, but it was off, so Im guessing the countdown was just broken. The room I was in was easy enough to almost beat, but the last puzzle was super hard to beat. It was a great experience. I loved this room and I cant wait to do another!

Had a BLAST. Took my daughter and family to celebrate her Birthday. We were in the prison escape room. This was our first time ever doing an escape room. Employee very friendly and helpful. Room was difficult but we managed to escape with 3 min 15sec left on our time. Would definitely recommend to family and friends

The challenge we picked consisted of a series of four rooms. The first room took us the longest due to some very minute details we didnt catch. We had to ask for many hints from the operator. The next two rooms were simpler. We ran out of time in the last room. The operator explained how we would have succeeded, and i dont think we would have completed the room on our own. Perhaps an hour was not enough time to complete the challenge. Maybe Im just not smart enough, but the clues seemed really hard.

Decided to try one of their escape rooms with some family from out of state..... It was an infuriating experience. The first room had 2 of the main elements malfunction. They said they were “watching” us through cameras the entire time but did not step in when certain items in the room did not work correctly. After the time ran out, they informed us that we did the correct thing to move onto the next room but did not seem to think it was their problem. Upon further investigation, I found other reviews stating the same issues with the same room, FROM A YEAR AGO. It is pretty ridiculous that they haven’t fixed parts of an escape room that allows you to escape but continue to sell the room.

It was incredibly fun! There was one minor glitch, but it didnt affect our results at all. Apart from that, friendly staff, fantastic atmosphere, and fun and interesting puzzles throughout! Highly recommend if you want to do something special in the area.

We just went last week. My husband and I have done a lot of escape rooms. This was the worst. It looks like some of the clues got changed. But instead of actually revising the room and pulling out the old clues, they just wrote on top of them to disregard them. This can be confusing. Also, the other rooms Ive been to, the employees are watching what were doing on camera so they can help us if we ask for a clue. Whenever we asked for clues the employee had no idea what we had or hadnt figure out. We could hear the 2 employees right outside our door just chatting with each other. That also kills the mood. But to top it off, we called to make sure they are doing the precautions for Covid. They assured us that they were. Well they didnt have any hand sanitizer for us. They told us to wash our hands before and after the room. But they barely had any soap and were out of paper towels.

The room was fun, but the darkness kept us from really enjoying it. Though we had flashlights, they were of poor quality, so Id suggest you use your phone light.

Honestly, the concept is really cool. The problem we had is things didn’t work right. We had the right code for one part but the lock was very finicky. We wastedover 20 minutes because we thought it must’ve been the wrong code. For how much we spent is was a disappointment in that part :( . Probably could’ve gotten a lot farther if things worked good. For that is was a disappointment

Really well designed escape rooms with very friendly staff. Had a lot of fun going through the Phase III and Hunting Lodge/Cabin escape rooms. Looking forward to coming back and trying the Prison Break room when I have the chance. Also like that they offer a Groupon coupon for discount rates. Definitely worth the money.

My daughter and her friends had a blast. Unfortunately, the group before us left with one of the keys so they had to cut a lock off. Lol, we still had fun and made it out of the room.

We had an awesome time yesterday at my company’s team builder. SA Panic Room was the perfect environment for us to learn to work together and have loads of fun at the same time! Our program host, Emma, was nothing short of amazing from guiding us through the sign in process to providing excellent guidance during our briefing prior to starting our room. Great time! Look forward to coming back!

My group reserved the Prison Break room and had a great time! We went early and had the place to ourselves. The room was challenging, but fun! Wed love to come back and try a different one when we get together again. We used a Groupon code, which was a plus!

This was my first time doing an escape room. There were 9 of us total (6 from our group + 3 who booked the same time slot) and we made it out with almost twenty minutes to spare. It was a fun little time, the puzzles werent too tricky, and the attendant was pleasant.The reason for the 3 stars is that several puzzles in the room didnt function as intended. From the very start one of the doors, which we were supposed to solve a puzzle to open, was already opened. Looking back Im a bit annoyed the employee didnt do anything to close it, or maybe didnt even notice, even though she was in the starting room with us to show us the story video. Our group wasted time trying to solve that door and had to use one of our clues to figure out why nothing was happening, only to be told that it opens the door...that was already open when we got there.Then another door puzzle was completely inoperable. We had to call the attendant to come in and open it for us because it was jammed. She still took a minute to wiggle it free after confirming that wed been doing it correctly.And the final objective, needed to actually escape the room, was in a cabinet that wasnt locked when we got to it. Upon realizing it accessed the exit we actually closed the door, locked the objective in the cabinet, and solved everything correctly.As a first time through it was fun but at the price ($25/person) everything really ought to be completely operational. I think if they put their resources into fixing up the rooms (maybe it was just the one we did) it could be a really fun experience.Side note: bigger groups increase your odds of escaping (more eyes, hopefully more brains) but as a result of the big group I missed out on about half of the puzzles because either too many people were crowded around one area or they were solved before I even reached them. I hardly even saw the final room.

Amazing escape room place! It is modern and creative things to challenge your brain. The staff are chill and perfect to help you with clues, service, and to have fun. I recommend this place for team building or party events.

I had an amazing time! I have gone twice now, and both times the staff have been friendly and helpful. The escape rooms are fun and challenging, and my friends and I have always had a good time. This past time we went, we were helped by Emma, and she was very helpful in telling us how much time we had left, and when we asked for our hints, she replied promptly. Great escape room experience, highly recommend!

Had an excellent time at the San Antonio Panic Room! First time attempting a room with friends and coworkers and had Katherine as our host. We had a great time! The puzzles were fun to navigate through and it was fun (and chaotic) trying to solve them all.Definitely giving kudos to Katherine for making it a great experience. Would highly recommend for anyone who fashions themselves a sleuth and wants a good challenge!

We had a great time. We had the whole room and it was just 3 of us (with our teenage son). We didnt know what to expect, but we had a great time working as a team to figure out the clues. We got the right amount of hints, because without them I dont know if we couldve made it out with 6 minutes to spare. Shannon was wonderful helping us with our booking over the phone, and Emma was our guide who was also so helpful and kind. Definitely recommend.

First time ever doing this and wow it was amazing! I like the experience and having to use your mind to solve the puzzles and challenges. Im gonna do this with my friends back home when I visit. Im so excited to share the experience with them since they havent done it.

We did Cabin Fever with a group of four and had a blast! The room is on the easier side and would be great for beginners, but it still had our experienced group scratching our heads a couple times and has some clever puzzles. The ambiance could use some improvement -- the fluorescent lighting felt more office than cabin and there were no ambient sounds to set the mood -- but the puzzle itself is solid.Our operator, Ana, provided excellent clues and was very polite and helpful throughout our visit. She was able to manage two rooms at once while responding immediately to our clue requests, so props to her!Well definitely be back to this place again to try another room.

It was amazing. Emma was so clear were the clue help and assistance. First time going and we did Phase III Human trials, mind blowing. We almost made it out, but it takes clear communication in your group. Yea. Next time. Too many chiefs but still a great experience. Ha.

The service was the best I have received in a very long time. They treated us with respect throughout the whole time we were there. They made sure we felt comfortable at all times. The experience of the panic room on its own was also AWESOME...I will definitely recommend this experience to everyone...

My family and I did the cabin room and human trial theme, and we did kids V.S. adults to see which group can get out the quickest. The kids obviously escaped first, but we couldn’t have done it without such great hosts, Emma and Kyle! It was a fun experience for the family and they were able to handle my loud family of 16 so well! We will definitely be back soon!

1st time going to a panic room and I have to say. Very fun! Our helper, Addi was very useful in giving hints and keeping up with the time. 10/10 would recommend!

All the ingredients were there, but the cake just didnt turn out. We played the cabin room. There was very little story to interface the room, but the room itself was pretty well done in terms of atmosphere. Not the best in town, but far from the worst. My biggest complaint is that many of the puzzles in this room just dont make sense. Having done 15+ rooms, I dont mean they were hard, I mean there actually want enough information and the information that was provided was more confusing. Luckily our group had the room to ourselves, but this is not a room for 10 people. Booking the room wasnt difficult, but I find out strange that you cant book rooms same day and if you try to call (if you can actually get through), youre routed to a call center that serves all locations of the panic room. It feels odd. For the money, this place could be better in a lot of ways.

It was such a fun experience!!! i have been wanting to do a escape room for a long time, and i decided to finally book a reservation. i didn’t know it was based on reservations, so we booked one last minute (oops!) it still worked out just fine, and everyone was SUPER friendly. we arrived at 7:45, for our 8:00 reservation, and everything worked out perfectly! i would like to point out that EMMA was super friendly, and made everyone feel very welcomed. we love her and appreciate her taking the time to make sure we were all informed! she even took our photos at the end, and took her time to make sure everything went through perfectly. if it’s your first time, i recommend bringing a note pad to take down notes! my family came unprepared, but the group we were with knew what they were doing lol! it was a fun time.

Took my friends to go try the Cabin Fever room. Interesting puzzles with good overall flow. Kyle was a great game master and offered useful but not overly informative clues. Definitely want to come back to try the other rooms.

Nice place. Ana is very friendly and helpful. A little easier than we would have liked. Also we lost 5 minutes with a faulty piece of equipment. And at least 10 minutes with a mislabeled piece of the game. Overall fun and the Groupon makes it super affordable.

Went there for the first time because of the recommendations online....however, we couldn’t figure out the clues..found the first clue on the first 10 minutes but then got stuck looking for the 2nd one for the remainder of the hour...Our guide showed us the clue but then the number was hidden in the snow, he insist that there’s a number in there but myself and my husband couldn’t see it even after he pointed it out...I guess they could’ve put more clues to feed our energy as first timers.

Second time Ive done an escape room. This one is clean, well kept, and decently difficult. Would not suggest a party of more than 10 for the prison room. Our helper Ana was very polite and quite helpful, especially since our group needed so many clues.

Went with some friends as a birthday surprise from my wife. Had a really fun time doing the Human Trials room. Katherine was extremely helpful and courteous the whole time. Katherine helped our group and a party of what seemed like 50 kids with what appeared to be no problems at all.

This panic room was definitely a challenge for sure! I really enjoyed coming here with my family and friend doing the prison break and wow the clues and everything was executed so well. A worker named Emma was so sweet and so kind making us feel welcomed and comfortable! She definitely deserves some appreciation and a raise.

I havent been to many escape rooms, but Ive been to this one twice. The locks they use are flimsy enough that if you toggle with them, you can get out without solving all the codes. Run by a younger staff, that arent really enthusiastic. Even though its a cheaper venue, Id spend a little more and go to one down the street.

Very boring and overpriced experience. Cost nearly $25 for less than an hours entertainment. The game is based entirely on finding keys/combinations to objects in the room. The clues are pretty random and have little to do with the story. They put ten people in a room that would work best with about five people. Several people just sat down and gave up right from the beginning. It was a waste of money.

I had only been to another escape room-type of a place once before with family as part of our staycation a few years back.Today, I was with coworkers for a team event and we split into 2 teams - the group I was with went into Phase III room and the other team went into Cabin Fever. When we were being briefed, I already thought it was interesting that we go in through one door and would be expected to exit out of a different door. Already looked more complex than the other escape room Ive been to! My team took some time to get going and was getting stuck at the very first problem. Once we got into the next room, we seemed to have found our rhythm, using the hints just at the right times. We ended up escaping Phase III with 2 minutes to spare and using 4 out of 5 hints.I highly recommend this place for a team event or for family or friends. If youre up for a challenge, this is it!

Had an amazing time tonight here with my daughter Alamo volleyball team. The girls along with there coach where in the jail room. As us parents and Emma ( employee) watched on an iPad.
