Really nice park! There is a lot of shade and lake access. You can swim, fish, camp, boat and kayak. The cost is minimal. We really had a wonderful visit!

Very fun place to go! I lived only a mile from the park and I have spent many hours here. There is more things to do here than you could do in a day. There is a disc golf course, you can go swimming, play basketball, fishing, camping, boating and much more. I have many good memories of this park. Also you can get to the twin buttes area through here where you can do even more fun activities such as hiking, hunting and shooting shotguns. So plan a family trip here and you wont regret it.

Great city park with plenty of amenities such as frisbee golf and camping/picnic areas. Fishing is pretty obvious but figured it should be mentioned as well. There are a couple boat ramps as well as paths for walking or running, but you will need to watch for cars.

Middle Concho Park can run the spectrum of experiences. It all depends on what you like. If you want a quiet, clean park all of the time, then this is not your place.That being said, Ive found quiet moment here for trail runs in the Twin Buttes area. Theres plenty of trails for dirt bikes, four-wheelers, and mountain bikes. There is even hunting during various seasons.The problem is finding an area of the park and time that fits your particular needs/wants. Also, this place charges from memorial to labor day weekend and I dont know why. Otherwise, pretty decent park.

Great place to camp. primitive camping. Sketchy bathrooms, no sinks. You can park your boat right on the shoreline next to camp.
