This is an awesome place to take your train enthusiast. We have a 5-year old that loves trains. The whole family ended up enjoying this excursion. The men that were giving tours were so nice and knowledgeable. The volunteers that ran the little gift shop were so helpful. This museum lets you get up close and personal with the trains. There is even a Thomas Model Train that your kids can run. They have three or four rooms that are very elaborate model train setups. They are awesome. It is amazing how beautiful some of them are. This is a great place to stop. You get way more than your monies worth out of this experience.
Whether youre from town or from out of town this was a really fun place to go. All kinds of info about the old train lines.
It was closed. But we still looked around the outside and it was very cool
Great small piece of American history. The care that their volunteers put into this place is visible.
We went early to see Santa arrive. It was our first time and we got in what we thought was a line for the photos. It was nice but to crowded. We didnt get to see the museum and had our pictures taken with Santa at the mall.
Took fantastic pictures there. Wish the museum would have been open when we visited. The mannequin lady that was in the window kinda freaked us out because we thought that she was real (she kept looking at us.) Lol!
A cool trip to into the past! We sure had fun
The gentleman that shows you around is very informative and enthusiastic about what he does!! What a wonderful experience!!! ️️
Great place to take the kids if they like trains
Cant give it a negative or a positive review as Ive never been in. And not from lack of trying. Hours are kind of ridiculous. And sometimes arent even open the days and hours they state on the doors.
Great place to take photos
Its a very nice museum! The atmosphere takes you to another time
One of the best Historically Orientated Railroad Museum for its size housed in a very nice two story old train depot. The old restored depot building itself exhuds a look of Historicosity.
This is a great place to take your family if you like trains or have little ones that like trains great experience
Its only open on Saturday. We were there on Friday. No info on travel guide on Google. Might have been really wonderful... dont know if Ill ever know.
Great train...but I am thinking it would be nice to have some greenery separating the road from the triangle. There is a sweet little train Trash disposal that invites kids to play on. But a TRASH receptacle to PLAY on?? Come on, kids LoVE trains... It can be so much better!!
Its fun for the kids and informational.
It was a good museum. My son loves trains and really enjoyed all of the model trains. Looking forward to going back.

Small museum, the highlight is exploring the train outside which includes multiple engines and a caboose
