ABOVE AND BEYOND SERVICE from Katy!! I got a sticker out of a vending machine there almost a year ago that I unfortunately lost, I emailed the bar and Katy went out of her way to respond and get me in the right direction to get a replacement! Much appreciated and will be back to visit soon!My friends and I had a great time here, great drinks, super fun games, and amazing service!!
Great concept with great owners that are always trying to engage the city and state on social media. Good prices on drinks and some nostalgia moments when you see the arcade games they have. Support local!
A hidden gem of salt lake. Excellent games, and super friendly staff willing to talk to you about all the games they have on display. A creative mixed drink menu that is absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend quarters enough!
Filled mostly with vintage games like pinball and fighting games. Great selection among these types though. Drinks are good too, but lets be honest if youre sober enough to taste them you wont be good enough at skeball
Fun and trendy! Needs to be better ventilated because it gets REALLY hot and humid really fast. Other than that... Its an arcade!! Love it!
David was very helpful and informative. Give that guy a raise!! Love the venue too! Keep up the great work.
This is the COOLEST bar. They all of these old school games like pac man, donkey kong, they even have an old N64 that you can play Mario kart on. This place is honeslty just fun, they have an awesome environment. And the bartenders look out for you, which being a girl is greatly appreciated. 10/10 recommend.
Dope bar thats brings out your inner child. Wish they had more games, and half the arcade style games were broken. But overall awesome place!
Went on a double date, it was so much fun. They have games for all players, Single, Double, 4 player up to 10 player. No issues with machines, no complaints good time !
The staff and bartenders are the absolute best. I love pinball, so coming here is always a great time.
Really fun but so many games were down for covid and the drinks could have been better for how pricy they were.
Great drinks. All pinball were operational. Fun times...
Is following guidelines and the staff is showing the way to be open during these times. Triangles both ways. Please be diligent and were you mask at any business you go to.
The atmosphere is always nice, I take my kids here sometime and they love coming here.
This place is a great way to start or finish your night. Great cocktails!
Great place, good drinks!! and old school games!! good place to be a nerd!!
Hipster beer selection, but good hipster beer. Just waiting for covid to be done to play some gauntlet.
Few games available due to Covid. Overall paradise for game lovers
A solid range of different arcade machines, ranging from classic pinball to fighting games. I was pretty surprised to find out how packed this place was and how easy it is to go through $20 in Quarters. The games are reasonably priced compared to other competitors and I would easily choose this over some of the others. It feels like its always been here, which I love. The hardest part is catching a game on Killer Queen, that machine rarely sits idol.
I am incredibly impressed with the old school arcade games and selection of local brewery beer. I had a great time tonight playing pinball off of quarters and drinking an IPA. Not use to Utah law I thought it was weird they scanned my ID at the door. It is the law here so dont be alarmed. This is a bar, not a restaurant. No food on the menu, only alcohol. Have Fun!!
Nice place with friendly staff and good classic games.
I love this place. Great drinks and great fun I love the pinball machines.
Everyone had masks on, the games were well spaced, and it was still a lot of fun!!
Amazing bar with amazing staff. Very female friendly, they are very committed to ensuring a safe environment for drinking and chilling. Bill is one of the best bartenders Ive ever interacted with! The games are always fun, very fairly priced and also well maintained. Im here all the time because Im treated so well!
Fun bar, not so gangster and intimidating as the other bars.
Just the right amount of dank for your pasty skin. Huge drink selection, great mix of new and old games. Staff is friendly and loves pinball, Ive often seen them playing off shift. Great place to take a date or meet a cute nerd.
Best Arcade in Utah the adult let’s get drunk and arcade it up extravaganza!
Love this place. Killer Queen and skeeball alone make Quarters awesome. Honestly I wish they had a larger location and a few more games like Killer Queen. If you like pinball, arcade games, and/or booze its worth a visit.
Cool mixed drinks and good beer. The games are a lot of fun especially the 10 person 2 screen game. Ill definitely be back here
Vibey basement bar with a HUGE game selection.Bartender was super helpful and the drinks were A+
Had fun playing Nintendo 64 Mario kart
Really good pinballs!! Well maintained and reasonable priced. Fantastic staff! Super nice to an out of town guy like myself. Totally recommend this place!!
My trip to quarters started by getting yelled at for not showing id right off the back. I would have happily handed it to the door man if he would have asked nicely and not shamed me like I was 5 again. The rest of the evening went well. We loved your bar tenders and the games that were available really made up for the rough entry.
This place is awesome, the drinks are cheap, and most of the games are in fact just a quarter. They have a ton of skeeball and pinball, as well as some classic arcade games. Ive been to other bars where its $12+ for a cocktail and the average cost of the games hovers close to a dollar.
Good selection of pins and classic cabinets. I would have no issue going back again.Really my only complaint (and this is personal preference) is that the music being played was very loud, and many of the machines were drowned out.Likely not a problem for most people, but I really enjoy hearing all the little details that designers put into the games (voice acting, sound effects, sound cues, etc).
Was only in town one night ending a 10 day road trip with my wife and some friends when a local Uber driver recommended Quarters so the 4 of us gave it a shot! We had a blast with all the old school games drinks and even a board game wing for hanging out. This place is awesome. Unfortunately for me I lost a very important key that must have fallen out of my wallet during all of the fun... I emailed Quarters management from a link on their website the next day and Katy an amazing person to deal with responded to me. After a few emails back N forth and a picture of a key that was found Katy was more than willing to mail me the key. So much effort for such a tiny key, but Katy didn’t care and her efforts will forever be remembered. Highly recommend this establishment as the drinks were good, games amazing, and obviously a business that cares about the customers even after the fact! Thanks again Katy!Sheldon
Pleasantly surprised! A huge assortment of games, lively atmosphere, and good cocktails. Plenty of nooks to feel comfortable.
This bar rocks! Great drinks and good selection of cabinets, pinball machines, and a ton of other games. Highly recommend.
Fun place. Could use a good cleaning though, games are a little sticky
Great selection of arcade games and they serve alcohol. They also have ski ball and foosball. Its a great date location!
Permanent closed. All the stuff inside is gone. Games too. Arcade in the other room is gone. This place was so much fun to go to even if you don’t drink, like me. This place will be missed.
Lots of fun. Good drinks and awesome games. Also smash tourneys. This place is rad.
Lots of cool arcade games, great variety. A lot of machines that I had never seen before.
Nice for a change of pace I suppose
Really fun place, specially those rare times when is a little empty and you can play any game without waiting. Great place, great drinks, will always come back.
The place smelled strongly of urine. We left after less than an hour due to boredom. I had to figure out how to spend 18 dollars worth of quarters elsewhere. You are better off pre gaming in the nickelcade parking lot.
A really great place to geek out on new and retro arcade games, and if you want a drink you can have one too!!
Love this spot - good, well priced drinks and all my favorite classic games. A great time every time.
Well maintained arcade bar. Inside was very clean and spatious with machines that all appear to be working and taken care of. Reasonable prices on the games and tasty drinks. Fun spot to hang out!
This place has a pretty nice, chill vibe. I loved playing pinball and hanging out. There’s foosball and a lot of 2+ player games in case you go with a group of people. Surprisingly, there’s no air hockey, which is the main reason for 4/5 stars lol
Awesome retro feel. Its another bar in a basement downtown. This bar is so mushy more fun though! You can get your drinks and mingle in the bar area or walk around and cheer friends on that are playing Frogger, watch as people are playing one of the many board games provided in the den area, play a game of foosball or even have a 4 way competition on the 4 ski ball setups! This place is a must see, I just cant wait to see more of these popping up around the valley!
Very cool theme and as a kid from the arcade era, not much beats drinks and games. Very cool selection old and newer. Fun date place or hang out
Reminds me of the old arcades from my childhood. Only they have a bar! Fun time. Friendly people. Safe for Black people.
Honestly, this is my favorite bar downtown. I love recommending it to friends because not everyone likes to go out dancing and listen to live music, but usually everyone gets super excited about arcade machines. Plus I really like the staff, they are always super nice and you can honestly tell that they love their job.
Cozy arcade bar with classic games, pinball and killer queen. The place was lively enough to play killer queen with a full ten players on a weeknight.
Had a good time. Whatever the cucumber drink was was good and pinball for days. Laid back.
Very fun nostalgic arcade! Great selection of games and helpful employees! Had a blast drinking and playing here for over an hour before meeting friends for dinner!
I recently visited this arcade bar for the first time. I had a lot of fun playing foosball, pinball, and drinking overpriced beer.(oh well, not a huge concern) While I am no heavy tipper, I try to tip every other beer or so. After several drinks I went up to the bartender I had been going to all night and asked for another Coors, upon providing me with the drink she decided to mention “that it is customary to tip after every drink. I know you have been tipping every other but some of the waiters think you are stiffing them. Dazed I walked back to my friends and explained to them what happened, two of my friends explained how the same bartender left him sitting at the bar after making eye contact (cash in hand) for 5 minutes while conversing with a local tattoo artist about how she wanted tattoos in a specific area of her leg. To specify i believe her name was Paloma. She had long dark hair in tight curls, a darker complexion, and lots of tattoos. If she does not feel that her wage is high enough for time that is a discussion between the employer and the employee. or quite frankly find another form of employment. I would love to come back but you ill either find out her day off or go to other bartenders. I wonder how many other people’s experience was altered by this one staff member
Love the “underground” type dealio they got going on. Nice place to hang with friends for activities.
Fun bar with themed drink options, and a good beer selection. due to the age of some machines, theyll eat your quarters but the staff is happy to provide replacements. looked like a pinball fan would have a good night here, with at least a dozen tables to choose from, some classic and some new.
Locals are great, bartenders are amazing and hold their own. Best place for drinks and nerd times
Awesome barcade. Has killer queen, a ton of other arcades, a setup for super smash brothers and more. Seems they are always bringing in the latest things to keep it interesting. Excited to visit again.
This place is pretty cool but it is pretty loud because what else can you expect from an arcade bar lol. The drinks were pretty good and pretty strong so it’s definitely a really fun way to kill some time and play some pinball
Fun place to be and had a great time.
Love the old school arcade games..brings me back to my childhood back in Michigan!
My favorite place to go on oy nights off, tons of fun for a amazingly priced arcade.
One of my favorite arcade bars in town, if you havent played killer queen, it is a must try!
Living my best life from 30 years ago. Getting high scores on old games I played as a kid. No pressure, great atmosphere!
Not too bad. A bit dark and always feels dirty. Some good games, many feel worn down. Almost as many pinball machines as there are arcade cabinets. Killer queen is probably the most fun, but you will want a good sized group to play with
Best bar in town no doubt. But I’m a fan of knowledgeable, friendly bartenders and pinball, so YMMV.
Quarters is one of the better bars in SLC. Theres underground culture, theres fun, and its generally a good spot to be if youre part of the younger crowd. Please go through and do maintenance on the basketball game where the air shoots the little balls up into one of three hoops. Its totally badass but didnt work the last time I was in. Im trying to go for the all time record. LETS GOOOO.
Drinks were great, super cheap. Loved playing in the arcade, options were somewhat limited but still fun.
Half of their games are broken/eat your money. If you’re there for the drinks, great. If you’re there for the games, leave.
Gamers dream! Lots of arcades and board games, and pretty decent drinks too!
So fun. So much bang for your buck. A bit hot down there when its busy, but very fun. Try to beat 28000 on skeet ball. Good luck!
Really cool arcade bar and solid selection of beer and liquor. They have great pinball machines too as well as some board games. My only complaint is I wish the place had a better selection of arcades. They have a few classics and beat em ups but itd be nice if they found some more variety (how about After Burner II? Star Wars Trilogy Arcade?).
The arcade part is great. Tons of fun games. The bar isn’t awesome. Their drinks are a tad bit gross. Vodka in a can of la croix. I couldn’t finish it. So many spirits but such a limited cocktail selection. I’d still go just for the arcade though.
Excellent service, great atmosphere, and a good selection of liquor.
Havy on the expensive side, and hella packed, buuuut great selection of pinball & arcade games
Atmosphere is always amazing. Staff is always so fun and kind and fit the place completely. The machines all usually work very well. I have only gone once to find my favorite pinball game down and out. Music is perfect for the setting with a chill area with board games and old school video games to relax after getting your butt kicked on Killer Queen. Bartender knows what shes doing as well. Smoke free keeps it clear and fun for everyone.
A super fun place to spend an evening with a chill crowd. A little dirtier and grimier than the swanky arcade bars of Chicago or New York, but you cant beat the feeling of walking into a hot basement filled with buds playing pinball, cruisin USA, and more.
Fun place, hipsters need to learn to order a beer and a shot. Too much time standing in line for drinks.
We thoroughly enjoyed our night out here. We hit quarters up on Saturday to celebrate a graduation. It was a fun environment and great service. Tons of games and drinks to choose from. Remember to bring cash to get your quarters
Cramped, drinks are really pricey. The games available are really great though! I dont suggest drinking while there thiugh.
This place is the ultimate throwback adventure! They have everything from Super Mario Bros to Buck Hunter. They have a wide selection of craft beers and the usual domestic. The cocktails have a whimsical spin to them with light up ice cubes. At times one feels as if youre in the Foot Clans lair. Definitely a fun time!
They had all the classic video games and pinball machines, plus my favorite beer, Heffe Weisen!!
