Absolutely love it here. My son and I workout alot. Get gym and equipment. And with this covid going around they have made it very safe for everyone

Super fun for all ages!! The price makes it a cheap activity that will last the whole day. We went on a Sunday and it was busy but we still had a great time. The diving platforms are crazy! They have a massive bucket that fills with water and dumps every few minutes or so, so fun!

Outside water a bit cold but refreshing. Indoor pools are just as refreshing. Great place for family fun.

My daughter rented the gym area for her baby shower. Very affordable price, safe environment with all covid-19 guidelines followed and enforced. Would reccomend this to all who need a great place for venues and celebrations.

I like this fitness center. As a local the rate it cheaper. The new renovations a really nice. Cant wait for this coronavirus to pass to I dont fear the gym as much.

Kearns outdoor pool is pretty great! It has a kids section with a large spiral slide and two smaller faster ones and tons of places to run through the water and get splashed. They have an additional kids area in the main pool with yet another slide.We went during Covid and everyone seemed to stay apart and the staff wore masks and they took breaks in the pool to inspect things. It at least made you feel safe.

Super clean and fun. we went for like three hours. the outside pool was packed but still clean except the water was pretty warm. indoor was similar but less people. slides were fun and I only paid $6 for an adult wish they had this in LA

Sam page ruined our pool experience and used fowl language in front of people + caused us great embarrassment.The pool itself is decent and nice gym but Kearns would benefit from having a better face representing itself than ‘Same Page‘ extremely disrespectful to our group today.

We love the Kearns pool and fitness center. Its a great place for exercise, swimming, classes. We love the indoor and outdoor pools. Its great for the whole family.

I love the staff and where you shower its so clean and I love the fact that theres playgrounds where the kids play and you could watch them while theyre playing and friendly people. Also its really big enough for everyone. I highly recommend this place

It does not have very many attractions for adults, and its kinda a small as a water park. If its just you and your kids its a great place, but if you are an adult with a bunch of friends their is not a lot of stuff for you to do.

Never waste your money on this place is ridiculous for a season pass that wont you let swim here they wont let you swim there its Thanksgiving break and I just took my kids there at 9:00 in the morning to try to let them go swimming and they told me we couldnt ridiculous

Took the yoga class. Was a bit rough. But for a beginner, I think I did ok. Cant wait to go again.

Great complex and lots of fitness options, and I do mean, alot. My only negative is theres not a complex like this closer to my house (you win THIS time, Kearns )

I like working out there, but since Covid the steam room is closed. Thats what I liked most about this place.

Nice being back at the rec center, missed it during quarantine. They are handling well and keep all equipment clean. Hands down my favorite gym to go to and the classes they offer with the membership is nice.

They really enforce Self Distancing at their Polo games, people respectfully use their masks, so does the players and coaches.

Glad we have this in our community. Year-round fun for the kids.

The place for indoor and outdoor lap swimming in the entire salt lake valley. I love the new updates they did to the fitness room (hopefully they do the locker room showers next). If you are in the resident boundaries this is your fitness destination and you need to get a membership. I have been going here since the facility was created for the Winter Olympics and it will always be a special place.

Has a lot of amenities, including a 50-meter pool. Showers are automatic, though, which is good for water conservation if not slightly inconvenient. Its a great fitness center.

This is the greatest pool ever. ever.and my best friend would agree. i’ve had so many good memories at this pool and they have great slides. everything about the pool is really good, i’d give it six stars if i could, highly recommend

Some of the staff at the front desk and on the security team, have been at their jobs for too long. They should consider retirement.

Well after a wonderful 2 years at the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center we decided to switch gyms. The prices for the 2020 year were just too much. They are doubling their child care prices. We have two small kids and the child care alone was more than other gyms. My wife even cried as she said goodbye to friends she had in her classes and also to the child care staff. Thanks Kay and Susan! We switched to WVC Family Fitness Center.....their child care is included in the price. We understand that you gotta make money and keep a business going.... But we are paying half the amount elsewhere.Overall, this has been the best rec. center/gym we have ever attended. The child care staff are top notch. Our kids love it here. We also love the classes and the new weight room area. Too bad about the prices....

I was really surprised to see sooo many people allowed into the outdoor pool. We walked in and then walked right back out. No where to even lay a towel down on the grass and definitely no where inside the pool to “social distance”. Got a refund and asked the manager if they’re regulating how many people are allowed in due to COVID-19. She said they are but they’re not even at 50% occupancy because they count occupancy for the indoor Rec center and outdoor pool combined.No thank you, I will not be going to this outdoor pool during this time if they aren’t regulating how many people are occupying the outdoor area alone.

Dirty! Bandaids floating in the water, food floating in the water. No social distancing. Horrible

We used to live close by and loved going here all the time (mostly for swimming). It is a lot of fun and they have recently updated the fitness center so its even nicer now!

I like being able to get my run in even when the weather says, no. Access to the Olympic Oval as part of the membership has totally made it worth it. On the other hand, the workout equipment in the gym is also great. With the pool options and classes, the fitness center is the right place.

This is the only pool that has an issue with you taking care of your kids. They refuse to put a life guard at the top of a slide, so if your kid is 35 inches or smaller and cannot go by them selves because they flip at the end you will get in trouble for going with them. Even if they sit on your lap and there is no “danger” of them being splashed in the face. Don’t worry this rule is not posted anywhere so when the lifeguard calls you over for taking your kid down the slide don’t hesitate to put your kids safety first.

Wow, 6 pools, indoor + outdoor, slides, diving boards & platforms, waterworks, huge lap pool, tons of space, ample lockers, toilets, showers, and basketball, workout gym and seems to go forever.

We love the variety of pools and large work out area.

We love coming here. Fridays and Saturdays are very crowded though. Weekdays during the day is not so bad. But, now with the summer- it might be more packed in the daytime. It was great!

The swimming pool is warm and fair prices.

The front desk ladies are really rude!!! Not friendly at all. Came today 6/14/19 and they were mean to my dad, who is a senor, when he just asked for a card to come back. They still didnt give him one either. They seemed to have an attitude when we asked if we could look around. Hope you guys can put more friendly ppl in the front desk. Not gonna visit again.

Dropped off my daughter for a few hours ~ she said there are lots of signs about social distancing but not many are trying : ( we will see in a week or so.

Great place to go with your family. I would reinforce the security of the premises because someone opened my locker and stole my belongings while I was in the swimming pool. They also grabbed stuff from other people lockers.

The pool was warm and the changing area was clean.

This is a great fitness center. They have a fairly new weight/cardio room. Multiple pools for laps, family fun, swim lessons, etc. Friendly staff, child care, and their fees are extremely reasonable.

Spacious, clean, shady, lots of swimming and picnicking spots.

Never answer the front desk phone and have continued to charge me despite my stating on sign up that I would not like auto renewal after the mandatory year membership.

The equipment is new and is great.

Wonderful place for the whole family really enjoy there pool and fitness center.

The gym had a variety of machines. Even though the gym was small, I enjoyed working out here and also using the saunas.

My kids like to go ice skating here and they have a fun pool outside in the summer

Its great to have access to the gym, pool and track around the Olympic Oval.

They have put a lot of improvement into this facility, it has a strong presence of security for both safety and I have a good time. They keep the testosterone junkies down to a minimum.

The exercise rooms are amazing. So many options.

Great facilities, except the changing room. It needs an overhaul on the showers. Family changing rooms are not properly sloped so it has standing water. New food court is good. Outside pool bathrooms are very bad, I dont think they clean them.

I love the facilities, staff service, and variety of things to do there. I want to go pretty much every weekend, and while parking may get congested at times, I always enjoy a trip to this facility. I primarily enjoy playing basketball and swimming. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Lots of amazing facilities and options for fun activities. Really big so it can be difficult to find what you are looking for. Hopefully the construction is finished soon, or already done.

I love that this pool is included in our KOPFC membership. The pool is huge and there is something for everyone to do.The last few times I have went the outdoor bathrooms were gross. The wreak of urine which makes me uncomfortable using the facilities, especially without shoes on.

Its got everything you need. Could use a bathroom renovation, but it era better each year.

This is one of our very favorite places to go in the summer! Quite a few years ago, we started doing staycations. Our children were too small to really enjoy the bigger waterparks & we didnt want to spend money on something they couldnt even do! So we discovered this place! There is something for everyone to enjoy at Fitness Center prices. In addition there are many Family Dressing Rooms, as well as the regular Mens & Womens locker rooms. We love how big it is & how there are many different levels of swimming areas of all the different ages that might come. And best of all, you can bring your own food in, as well as there being food you can buy there! We have taken friends & told many others about this place & no one, not one, has been disappointed! We are so thankful we found Kearns Oquirrh all those years ago! :)

This place is an excellent fitness center. I pay for my entire family due to the pool amenities, but find myself coming here much more than them. The staff is friendly, the gym is nice with like new machines, and not crowded like vasa, 24 hour, or lifetime. Coming from Vasa you dont get the vibe of roided out douches trying to pick up women. You find fellow patrons to be respectful, courteous, and cleaning the machines after each use typically. The gym offers steam rooms and saunas which are effective and never too crowded. The basketball courts are decent, and you can find many programs or classes for children and adults to participate in. In the summertime of course you have the open plunge pool, and this is great for the family albeit crowded.If there was one open complaint I have about the gym is the showers. I know it is there for a rinse, but having the option of enclosed shower that isnt on a very quick timer for those who lather prior to heading to work early morning would be nice. It almost feels like a simple spraying that is on a 60 second timer.Other than that this is an excellent, affordable facility that is a great alternative to the bro gyms like Vasa and 24 hour.

It’s a great place but the water is so dirty even with the chlorine in it. at least blow your whistle and let 10 mins go by so the pool can be actually clean. If any of the kids accidentally drink the water they are going to be sick. I went to the pool yesterday and now i’m sick because i accidentally drank it. Gross.

I live in West Valley, but my neighborhood is part of the area that is taxed by Oquirrh Rec and Parks. Since part of my taxes go to the KOPFC, my wife and I toured the new changes. It looked good, so we signed up for a year as a couple. The new weight room looks nice at a quick peak, but in reality its not very nice. The equipment is new, but its cheap (compared to the weights and machines at Vasa). Maybe its the low ceiling, but it felt really cramped in there. I went at a time (4pm) that I was told was not a peak time. There wasnt a lot of people in the weight room, maybe 25, but it felt crowded. They did a lot of work and spent a lot of money, but it doesnt feel much better than it did before. Still feel like youre on top of each other, but just in a bigger area. My wife likes the pools and I might join her now and then, so we wont cancel.

Great place...nice fitness facility at affordable prices. Love the pools and swim lessons for kids. Some of the tiling could use updating but overall well maintained for the usage it gets. Great pools but busy in the summer.

Nice new workout facility is huge! All new equipment. Pool is great. They need to update the steam room and sauna and this place would be perfect oh and they need to keep the basketball hoops open only for basketball.

Grest location next to olympic oval and other entertainment and sporti areas. The cheap membership will get you free classes in many disciplines. Several pools for all ages an activities, gym and basketball and tennis courts. You can do anything you can think of within a rec center. I dont give 5 stars because gym could improve size and as big swimming location it hosts events which can limit use of lap swimming lanes.

There is so much to do and bring the family along. I enjoy working out while my boys swim or play ball. In summer or winter there is always activities for every one of the family members.

I love going here. They have an outdoor as well as an indoor lap pool. There are numerous exercise classes to choose from (aerobic and strength training). The staff is always very helpful and friendly. During the summer they have movie in the park which is free and the movies are updated. The price to get in is very reasonable. I highly recommend.

I love the new gym! Its huge and clean. You dont even need a gym membership this gym has so many machines. I come here several times a week and I have nothing bad to say. This is my home away from home.

They will CHEAT youI worked there for 12 years and would often buy memberships for my family. When I finally left, they canceled the membership I bought and refused to give me a refund after two months of purchasing it. The way they treated me after working for them for so long was reprehensible.

Love the new renovations. So much more room to workout. And still very good price on family memberships
