Worker there were lazy! Would not let us go back and try a used driver I was planning on buying because they close in 40 minutes! We were the only customers in the store but they were to busy sitting on the counter bs-ing with each other! Total waist of time will not be coming back ! And advise you don’t either!
The store was clean and well laid out. The employee that was on the floor was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely go back when I need to make another purchase.
I almost couldn’t believe it. I got a birthday gift late February that didn’t fit. Tags on it, receipt in hand. I go in to return it and the associate had to get his manager because it had been 5 months. The manager comes out and without saying anything elses ‘so why has it been 5 months?’ I said- other than the obvious? He continues to criticize the fact that they have been open the last 2/3 months and I should have done it then. I simply grabbed my merchandise and told him that if he was going to just belittle the fact that in a PANDEMIC I waited a little too long to return a brand new item- I will sell it on my own. Terrible customer service for a manager. If he would have said ‘I can only do store credit because of the time frame’- I wouldn’t have even been upset. The way he approached it was ridiculous and I really hope the young cashier learns better customer service from an actual leader!
I went in the store twice with all intent of dropping at least seven to eight hundred dollars on a new driver and fairway wood. Both times no one talks to you, you feel as if your a bother to them asking questions. They don’t care about your service or money. Don’t waste your time
Unfriendly and seems like they dont want to help you.Here to change wood sets and driver cuz I think my swing speed has decreased. Asked if I could get my speed checked, and just kept saying how much itll cost me. Felt very uncomfortable and degrading. Not spending a penny here anymore .
Nice golf equipment store BUT THE BATHROOM WAS DIRTY. EVERYTHING WAS NOT CLEAN INCLUDING THE BABY CHANGING TABLE.
Horrible experience ordering shoes online. Shoes were suppose to arrive in days but It has been nearly a month now with no shoes yet. I have called and have exchanged email but to no avail. They won’t even let me cancel the order. They say that I can return the order once it finally comes but they have no way to cancel because the order is now under vendor control. So I replied that was not acceptable, and asked if they were drop-shipping from China like the guy selling out of his mom’s basement...they literally ignored everything I said and asked, and just copied and pasted their previous reply. I ordered the same shoes on Zappos last week and they came in two days! Uinta Golf, Amazon and Zappos have all been great, even during Covid. Golf Galaxy is terrible and this is not my first problem with them. Read all of the negative reviews and then run away fro Golf Galaxy as fast as you can!
I went in to get some callaway adapters put on some shafts and was told it would be about a week and turned into being almost two weeks and I understand with all the covid stuff going on right now but that wasnt the only issue. when I received my shafts they had massive gouges in them from the holder they used to put the adapters on. also I have the align grips and the adapters were not aligned properly to the grip so the club head was not square. Both shafts were for a hybrid and fairway wood and they told me the adapters were different when i ordered them but when I went and got my shafts they told me both adapters were for fairway wood luckily they both fit but i wish they would have called me to verify if this was correct before putting it on the shaft. I will never be going back to this store they dont seem to know whats going on and customer communication can be better. I will pay the extra money from now on and go to uinta golf or club champion for all my golf needs

This is a GREAT store run by a great guy. I was visiting from South Carolina and just stopped in to kill some time. The manager/owner? Paul and I started talking. He is very personable and knowledgeable about everything he carries. He also knows golf. I ended up coming back to the store and getting a driver fitting mainly due to the fact that I felt he would do a better job than my pros in S . He did and really worked with me on my swing and on the fitting. A really great experience
I called after being over charged on some sale balls. Their associate could have maybe been more rude if he tried, but I doubt it. Last time for me in this store.
Troy is the man. Takes care of me every time and even remembers my name! This is my go to shop for everything golf!
What happened to customer service? does anybody care anymore?
I went into Golf Galaxy earlier this week. Priced and put together a new set of clubs for my husband. Wrote down all of the options and then called back today 8.28.19 at 10:30AM and asked if they could put it together for me and I would pay for it over the phone and pick it up. They told me absolutely not. The man on the phone was so rude. Said he would never do that for me. I said Okay I will buy them somewhere else. He said okay and hung up. I just bought $2000 new clubs at Uinta. Thanks for nothing Golf Galaxy. Will never shop here again and will tell everyone the same thing. Maybe a manager will address this or maybe it was the manager. Either way this place is just worthless.
This store is amazing and so are the employees.I have been helped, given advice on the fly while testing equipment, and some of them even know who I am when I walk in but Ive only been there 4 timesI was taken back when I was recommended a 100.00 used driver over a 400.00 option. That actually helped my game improve!!!!!!
This is the best golf store in Salt Lake City. Their staff are helpful, attentive and the prices are great. They have a huge variety of clubs, balls, shoes and clothing. Close to the Fashion Place Mall and easy to get to

This place is always amazing. Not only do they have massive knowledge of everything golf related but they also look out for the customer to make sure you get the best deal. I went in looking for a new driver and not only did I get a driver, but as I was testing it they basically gave me a whole golfing lesson. Which resulted in a quick fix of my heafty slicing drives. Awesome place and employees.
Every question I asked the guy he just sat in his chair, not once stood up to help, and said lets do it this way...never answered anything.! Never will go there again! No help at all!
My experience was great. I went in on a Sunday looking for a used club and found a new gap wedge i really wanted on sale. I was asked 3 times if I needed anything which is rare now days. The employees there were very friendly and helpful. I feel the selection was great and proces correctly.
Scott was very kind however I received a pair of shoes for a birthday present worn them on the course twice. Now my fault for throwing the box away but the shoes didn’t fit properly so tried to return them. Wouldnt take them back because the had grass and dirt on them. I understand to a point but wearing them twice and they still look new just take a brush and water and no more dirt or grass. Not very happy with the Draper store.
I have been going in for the last few weeks to get set up with a new iron set and wedge set. Every time i go Paul is there and he is a bank of knowledge. I was hitting some irons and he gave me some tips for a cleaner strike. It was basically a lesson for free. He is so down to earth if you need anything there ask for him he is a way cool guy. I ended buying the irons he recommended for me and i love them. Awesome awesome customer service if you go make sure you talk to him because he will get you set up right.

A golf only store as you can tell from the name. They carry pretty much all brands and generally are very knowledgeable about the equipment they carry. End of season sales can be very good, otherwise pretty much retail pricing. Plenty of parking.
When it comes to golf clubs there is not much wiggle room on price. So customer service should be priority. Not with the employees here. They had more employees than customers, and no one ask if needed help until the cashier. He barely had a pulse.
I will not shop here. Very unfortunate the manager Chris was so rude as I knew my used clubs werent worth a whole lot but I did have $3000 for a new set with bag. You lost out big headed over to Unita Golf, super.nice guys there and amazing deals!
Had a Driver Fitting with Dave, after an 18 year absence from the game. Im blown away by todays technology. Dave put me in a Taylormade M3 Driver and I am nuking the ball. With all of the adjustments he has me straight as well. This 58 yr old has rediscovered golf with a big smile. Thanks Dave !
The staff at Golf Galaxy are always extremely professional and willing to help and its. To me the staff is not pushy but if you need something theyre willing to help you find it or find the right fit for your game
I have tried several times to give them my business, but they may be the worst retail experience Ive had. And when I presented my dissatisfaction to management, theyve been less than helpful.
Pro Mike Bicker is a nice guy.Otherwise my experience was not good. I had clubs stolen and needed to replace . They were slow, did not work with my insurance company, did not offer discounts even though they messed up the order and it was a large order...and its now a month and I dont yet have clubs. I had to come back into store multiple times. They would not even take a credit card over the phone even though I have bought things there before.I have had a better experience working with Uinta Golf. Which is where I will go next time, even though its farther from my house.
Not only is this a terrible place to shop, the customer service is non existent! As an advantage club member there is no advantage. You can not redeem any of the coupons they send you for being an advantage member due to restrictions placed by the club manufacturers. You may be able to use them for some top flite plastic practice balls!! After taking my club in Saturday for repairs and told come back Monday are club guy will be here. Monday no club guy in the store to help after walking around for 10 minutes and not a single staff member to be found! Here we are Thursday and not one word from anyone after being told repeatedly. Our club guy will call tomorrow and let you know what Titleist says. Repeatedly mis lead in the buying experience and lied to! The absolute worst customer service in this Valley
Hi i believed review is depend on over all experience in store not only one time when u didnt get sale 50% they sale 50% so if you expecting for extra 50% basically we asking for 50 +50=100% same like free, ohhhh no that not fair for store any way my saying is i like golf galaxy the price are very reasonable and m living at downtown slc m always shopping at golf galaxy which is on Murray, i appreciate the way you care customer keep it up thanks.
