This church helped me with a $25 food lion gift card. I had spent what little ebt I do get and had an unexpected expense that month that left no meats in the freezer. A friend told me to call them, they said come by. When I did the staff member I met was kind, wearing a mask and didnt make me write my life story or provide a million proofs of anything. She simply handed me an envelope and said have a good day and God bless. Thank you Sacred Heart for helping my family in our time of need

Wonderful parish community! Priest was very friendly and preached a very engaging and relevant sermon. The Mass was excellent and reverent - and this parish has brought the altar rail back! If I am ever in town again I will definitely stop by, especially for their monthly Latin Mass.

It was my first experience at the Church of the Sacred Heart and I thought Father Eckert did a wonderful job delivering a homily that was personalized and inspiring .

First time here and I loved it! I loved the atmosphere and friendliness! I usually go to the one in Lexington and I love the guitar sound but the organ sound is also nice!

The temple is absolutely beautiful, but more importantly, Fr. John Eckert is a great priest, in my opinion. Hes a man thats deeply in love with God, and it shows: he celebrates Mass with great reverence and love, his homilies are simple, yet speak to the heart, and hes a terrific confessor; truly a man worthy of the name father.

Two words: ALTAR RAIL. Okay more words--they USE the altar rail for communion! They actually built this newish church to look sacred....and with altar rails!

The Sunday mass was good. At the end of the mass The priest was somewhat friendly. Showed no interest in meeting new people................service and the environment was great. But they need to work on greeting newcomers better. Did not feel welcomed...............

Father Eckert is an amazing speaker, the Mass is very prayerful, the congregation is diverse and devoted.

I only went to the Parish Center for Cursillo School of Leaders.

Ive not had the opportunity yet to visit Sacred Heart in Salisbury. I do know that they have a Latin mass available and I have spoken with Father John Eckert and former assistant priest Father Carter on a few occasions when I was needing help for a friend in their town. I have found them extraordinarily helpful and very kind on numerous occasions. If things go well in the future with my friend who lives there, I hope to be worshiping there frequently as my parish away from home.
