We had a great time and we learned a lot of things!

We wanted to go to the Rowan Museum after church; but they are not opened. So we walked around and looked at the beautiful flowers and artwork. There is a beautiful outside area behind the Museum. There are benches to sit and enjoy nature, the beautiful flowers, and a birdhouse. We have visited the Museum several times and enjoy learning from the exhibits.

Nice little museum. Docent was extremely nice and let us in early as didnt realize it didnt open until 1 and we were there before noon. Quaint downtown area and the church next to the museum was beautiful but locked so no seeing inside.

Fantastic place full of local history. We have lived here for decades and had no idea this place existed. Really needs to be promoted properly, but regardless, you should find your way here for a visit. Whether you are doing a brief run thru or a full on deep dive visit, this place is a destination everyone should try out

If you are in historic Salisbury, GO! The exhibits are well-presented and very informative.

Great museum is Salisbury the place was nice and easy to find. Plus the artifacts were great to see and to see how time was back then. Plus a little bonus at the end talking about Cheerwine during the festival.

Lot of good stuff for sale but very crowded

The displays are interesting and change regularly. The staff is very helpful. Just wish they were open more often and for longer. A real treasure to the city and county.

Family and I visited the Rowan Museum during the Cheerwine Festival back in the summer time. Wonderful experience looking at all the Cheerwine memorabilia from the beginning of Cheerwine. There was staff on hand to talk about history and give examples of what Cheerwine was all about. Located downtown Salisbury and within walking distance to a lot of restaurants.
