Although there are no current events due to Covid, you can still tour the track. There are short hikes (less than 10 mins) to see the turns like the Corkscrew. The front gate person was very helpful. Its a spectacular track to see. Cant wait for racing to start again

Would have given 5 stars, marked down for public restrooms closed by the corkscrew, the elite folks were not wearing masks and they could have had a beverage stand or truck serving snacks, drinks and souveniors but nothing. Otherwise great place, bring your chair, cooler, enough beverages, and earplugs. Lol. camping was perfect! Races were fun!

This is a great place to camp. Of course it is noisy if there are races, but you get to watch a car race while you are camping! There are some top notch FAST mountain bike trails right off the very top of the camping area. The views from almost all sites are first rate. Staff is helpful, kind, and not intrusive in the slightest. Very hilly area, but thats a small price for such magnificent natural splendor.

This is a world class track thats a ton of fun to drive on and get your photo op on the famed Corkscrew. Its equipped with reasonable, albeit basic facilities: clean bathrooms in the paddock, nice suites to watch cars scream by on the long straight stretch between turns 11 and 1, serviceable food, and an understandably expensive gas station. If you have a chance to take your car here for a track day, do it!

Finally I made it to this famous track in games. The weather changed dramatically throughout a day. It was foggy in the morning and cleared up around 10am. The track was fun and challenging with the one and only Corkscrew. The hiking to the best view point near the Corkscrew took like 8 minutes. But the view from the top of the mountain was breathtaking. Will come back in the near future for sure!

Whether its Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, Vintage or Historic or track time for your own experience WeatgeTech Raceway will not disappoint. There are also various Motorcycle races and the infamous Motor GP Motorcycle Races which brings talent from the Country and the World.

Nice place. Found a pull through spot for our 44 rig, was a tight squeeze, but we fit! Its a pretty steep grade getting up to the spaces. Cool race track right next door. Was neat to go watch people drive the track. There is electricity and water hookups at the site but the water isnt safe to drink. There is a dump, but its easier to access when coming into the camp rather than when youre leaving, the turn is very sharp to make after coming down the hill. $40/night.

So much fun. BRING SUNBLOCK!! Not a lot of shade. Especially if you watch from your car like we did. Bring cash also. No one took card and the ATM charged almost $5 for withdrawal. If you have sensitive ears or young children, Id recommend ear protection. Also, be prepared to walk a lot, especially up and/or down hills.

Historic racetrack that hosts some 8 major auto/motorcycle races a year along with almost daily car and motorcycle clubs who rent the track. Its the home of the largest bike festival in the world The Sea Otter Classic. Also hosts the Amgen Tour of CA bike race and once a month Twilight biking opens to the public to bike around the racetrack for $10.The facility is old school with only a few upgrades over the last 50 years Its all about the racing here. Since its a county park you can visit for $5. or camp out. Bike around the paved roads or hang out with the car club people. Its a fun exciting place to be!Would give it 5 stars but they need to add better dining /drinking places that perch higher to oversee the track with live video screens inside to watch the action.Adding a proper vistor center that would show the history of the race track similar to the new vistor center at Pebble Beach Golf Course would be welcomed.Access and parking need improvement.

My favorite track! Really wish that someday i could try it..WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca (previously known as Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and Laguna Seca Raceway) is a paved road racing track in central California used for both auto racing and motorcycle racing, built in 1957 near both Salinas and Monterey, California, United States. The racetrack is 2.238 miles (3.602 km) long, with a 180 feet (55 m) elevation change. Its eleven turns are highlighted by the circuits signature turn, the downhill-plunging Corkscrew at Turns 8 and 8A. A variety of racing, exhibition, and entertainment events are held at the raceway, ranging from superkarts to sports car racing to music festivals. The name Laguna Seca is Spanish for dry lagoon: the area where the track now lies was once a lake, and the course was built around the dry lake bed. After the course was reconfigured, two artificial ponds were added.

Took my boys here as a pit stop while exploring a few points of interest in Monterey County. Amature racers were flying around the track in their personal vehicles -- Audi, Mazda, Ford, Lotus, Porsche and Mini Coopers were the cars of choice, mostly. There were a few alternative cars, like an old Volvo and a sweet looking Zenos E10. We paid a $5 day fee to go down to the paddock and watch awhile. Spoke to some of the drivers, ranging from the Porsche driver, who does it twice annually to blow off some steam with his uncle, to the Lotus-pro, who used to tour the circuit until the races for that genre died out. Now, my oldest wants to come back for the real races, as well as to see how my CMAX hybrid will do on the turns. Ha. Funny child.

Had a ton of fun this past weekend at the World Super Bike Races. First time visiting but I had seen the track before on the Grand Turismo video games, so that was really cool. They had a service for handicapped or disabled patrons to be trollied around in golf carts ran by the veterans that made our weekend. My father in law has mobility issues and had to use a scooter for the weekend, they actually had golf carts that could told out to a ramp and carry him and the scooter around! We were even able to go to the corkscrew with their assistance. It was scorching hot, my one recommendation at least during summer is to put some shorts in your shop, I know me and other woman were looking for a pair after mistakenly wearing pants, you are missing out on some revenue. Im thankful earplugs, sunscreen and umbrellas were being sold though. Thanks for the good weekend, we will be back next year.
