Jerry Ivey is a pretty nice park, theres a nice walking trail that takes you through a tunnel of trees and there is a pond where there are geese. It got a little sprinkler park for the kids and plenty of places to sit and have a picnic. Theres lots of nice trees, its not a huge park but its a nice park. Historically its not an old park, it was put up probably in the late 70s early 80s to memorialize a police officer named Jerry Ivey that was killed in the line of duty, here in Salina Kansas. There is a tennis court, basketball court theres lots of covered shelters. If you have little kids or even if you just want to sit at the water and watch the geese and take a walk on the trail its nice.

Was a pretty great park. Lots to do. However, if you care even a little about the GLOBAL PANDEMIC i would avoid this place (no pun intended) like the plauge. Mask ordnance in effect and not a single person social distancing, or wearing a mask. So for all the people who actually give a fk about their life, and the life of others, i would find something else to do

Always a pleasure to bring my kids to the park, Kids love to see the ducks just wish they were able to feed them. Also it would have been nice if they did a leave clean up. Also wish the restrooms were open. Other than the minor stuff we give it a thumbs up 5 star.

I love this park. Its fun for the grandkids and a friendly place to be. The ducks are great but dont get to close their are a few that will come after you. There is a spray park and park equipment, grills and picnic tables. How ever in the late summer the little pond get that algae and it smells bad. You cant be by the water but with the smell who wants to. So I go before August. Still one of my favorite parks plus the bathroom is nice and its handicap accessible.

Good safe place to have the kids play & see the geese & ducks & fish swimming in the man made pond. There is volleyball courts & water park to cool off on hot days for kids and grownups to enjoy. Picnic tables and covered areas. And a area for performing weddings, and lastly to go for a peaceful walks.

Nice place to excerise or Just relax.

Review №44

Nice place totally disgusting polluted water. If youre lucky every now and then one of the poor creatures that call that pond home will die and float to the surface from all the garbage and pollution in the pond. Plus the fountains spray that water into the air so everyone around gets a little dose of mercury poisoning.
