Beautiful private golf course. Become a member its well worth it. We were there because of a wedding but we are not members but Im considering being a member because its beautiful pool and golf nice restaurants good staff.

I recently had my wedding here at Illahe Hills country club. I could not have asked for a better experience with a venue. Mike, the COO, worked with us personally to select menu options, work out a schedule of the day, and work where we wanted everything set up. Day of, the entire staff of the club could not have been more accomodating or professional. They took care of everything from set up, to getting food ordered for the bridal party, to getting glasses of prosecco for a pre-wedding toast. The wedding venue has an amazing view, with excellent spots to take photos. There was even bocce ball set up and they let us drive an Ice Cream truck onto the lawn!You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not consider Illahe country club for your wedding. Our day was absolutely perfect and we would do it all over again.

Its fantastic!! Beautiful view of the open sky and mountains God is truly beautiful in all of His ways!! Its in the reflection of what He makes in the whole universe. Thank you Jesus!!

Beautiful, classy place. Have had some of the best of special times in my life there.

The place is very pretty but the way some of the staff is treated by their own bosses is a huge disappointment and makes me ashamed to even go there. They discriminate in more ways than one not to mention play favorites...very childish. For the few days my hubby worked there, his co-workers were all very nice but his boss was another story. The second day he ended up having to walk home from South Salem to NE Salem after working all day and then his boss lied to me and said he offered him a ride...which never happened. The third day he worked there, his boss made him work with out gloves and offered rain gear to the whole crew except him. That night my hubby received a call telling him things were not going to work out and that he was fired for no reason given.

Great time, great day on the course. Course was immaculate. Practice green was about 2 feet faster than on the course but overall, great course and day.

Great course, very scenic, generous fairways, and very good greens. Just remember to stay below the pins when on the greens. Very adequate pro shop.

Site of our 50th high school class reunion. It was fantastic from the beginning of the planning to the close of the event. The room was perfect, the food was fantastic and the staff was amazing. This all made our special event even more special. I highly recommend Illahe for your next big party!

The only things that have changed in the 45+ years my familys been apart of this place are the carpet, pool location and a few members. Consistently exquisite as are the memories made here.

Still always upscale at 6:30 in the morning. Great food too. We have our morning networking meeting there.

I havent played the course in a couple years but its always been you of my favorites. Its always in great shape and the people there are very nice. The food there is really really good too!!

Beautiful setting in the valley, great service and unbeatable views!

The service was on point and the fillet mignon was juicy and succulent. I think the very best part of our party there had to have been the appetizers: smoked salmon and cheese baked in puff pastry, sausage stuffed mushrooms with so much flavor, and a really, really good hummus! I truly enjoyed my meal there, beside the fire place and would certainly go back. Oh and last, but certainly not least, they really know how to mix a good, stiff drink; the Godfather that was mixed for me was great!

We came down here to play because our home course had a tournament and heard that this golf course have a partnership with this golf course. Its very similar to our home course. We enjoyed playing here. The staff was very friendly.

I taught a CERT class in a meeting room at the club house. The class was unrelated to golf. The meeting room was very nice.

Beautiful venue for a wedding. The sunset is beautiful - definitely worth having your event here in the evening. The event staff were helpful and generally polite (my waitress wasnt, but I think it was an anomaly). Definitely worth checking out!

Great golf course...a real challenge. Drawback this is a country club which has a pretty pricey initiation fee. While I lived in Salem, I checked it out but chose another country club which was closer to my house and had a wonderful golf course at about half the cost. It akso had a very nice pool as well as a very nice restaurant. It boils down to what youre willing to pay.

My sister worked here when i was a little girl and their service is still great and people are friendly.

My first time at Illahe County Club it was beautiful and gorgeous. Fabulous 1st fundraiser or the Salem Symphony! Amazing sunset and we raised some money. Well Done!

Went to a wedding anniversary luncheon. Food was very good. Service was very good also...

I got the pleasure of going to Illahe Hills Country Club last spring, hoping for a good meal before the prom and was very dissappointed. I had pasta and my date had fish & chips. While the view was spectacular and the service was incredible, the food was mediocre. I expected my dinner to come with some kind of sauce, but it instead came with an oily vinaigrette. I was also astonished that they were willing to serve us champagne, even though I hinted that we were clearly underage. Yikes. Dessert wasnt a disappointment, however. We shared some kind of a chocolate cake with our sparkling cider, which turned out to be the best part of the dinner. If youre looking to eat at Illahe, go to Roberts Crossing instead for much better food for your hard-earned dollar. Im very thankful that I got to eat at a nice country club, but I was only disappointed at my food.

Went to the fireworks show. Despite what their website said, it was not $5 to get in, it was $10! Music was hard to hear but firework show lasted a long time- albiet comprised of rather average, run of the mill fireworks. Was much easier than expected to park initially, and get out afterwards.

Speaking specifically to the food (I dont golf and was there for a WOU benefit dinner), the prime rib and desserts were great. Service was fantastic.
