One of the best Ive been to for a special event (wedding). They just did an outstanding job overall. You wont be disappointed.

One of the most picturesque settings in the Valley. Im not an actual member but have visit the Club many times for more than 20 years. The food is good, staff is helpful, and meeting facilities have always met our expectations. Some upgrades/remodeling is probably in order, but all in all, Ive enjoyed my time here immensely.

Just recently join this Country Club. I enjoyed the pool with my daughter the staff was very friendly. I also played a round of golf with my uncle. I had a great time this is a beautiful course. I look forward to playing many more rounds here. I also like they are very military friendly. I hope to host a tournament in next few years.

We had our rehearsal dinner at the Hidden Valley Country Club and are so glad we did! It is a beautiful space with a breathtaking view. The staff were so kind and professional. The food was also delicious and the kitchen staff were flexible in working around a couple guests food allergies. Overall we had a beautiful evening and would definitely recommend this space to others!

The management is racist and discriminatory. I recently saw a post from an ex-employee stating they were terminated for speaking another language. Do not attend this country club.

Enjoyable course. Took very good care of the Veterans Golf Assoc.

My womens organization had a beautiful/delicious holiday gathering.

Very nice experience. Was just there with a trade association using the facilities for an awards dinner. The area we used was nice, the catering group produced an excellent meal. Parking was easy and the covered area to unload passengers was nice in the rain.

Went for company Christmas party excellent food friendly staff

If you need a wedding or reunion facility this is your place. Decent catered food, too.

Very enjoyable. We had cocktails, Stone Crab appetizers, and house salads. Then shrimp and grits w/ grilled asparagus and beef w/potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Artfully presented and delicious. Quiet and relaxed. Friendly and attentive, if overworked, staff. No hovering, thankfully. Nearly perfect.

Reception room was quite hot in December. Facilities are okay.

Most beautiful golf course in the area. So happy to be playing the course again after a few years away.

They held a service awards ceremony for Lewis Gale employees in the Clubs Ballroom, and the service and food was fantastic. Nice landscaping and location in Salem for golf enthusiasts and others. Thank you to the Human Resources department of Lewis Gale for putting the service award ceremony together. Well done.

Had a wonderful Christmas party for work here. Staff were great and very accommodating! Excellent event location.

Stopped in this week, because it was the nearest course to Roanoke College. Mike and his staff were awesome and the golf course was in great shape for November. Views great and an overall fun course to play.

Food was absolutely delicious, service was amazing, and the overall location was lovely, very clean & organized. My second time visiting here and I was impressed each time.

Perfect venue for us! Danielle (event coordinator) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful from start to finish and was completely flexible with just about everything. The outdoor space is beautiful and even though it was cloudy and slightly rainy, we ended up with outstanding photos. All of the staff were excellent. The night before the wedding they stayed up late with us helping to set up and make sure everything was perfect. They also gave us lots of extra rooms in the building for us to put all of our decorations and supplies in that could be locked to keep it all safe. The food: unbelievable. Their chef is very talented and we had zero complaints from our guests. Franco the banquet captain was also very sweet and helpful and willing to do whatever we needed. Our bartenders Isaias and Carlye were outstanding. We made a drink menu to save a little on alcohol and they made sure to memorize the drinks so that the guests would get exactly the right drink. The servers and food/beverage manager Adam, Morgan, Mandi and Nichole were all so professional and respectful. Perfect wedding experience here and would without a doubt recommend to anyone in the area. Also very close to a couple nice hotels making it easy to arrange for shuttles. The next morning the staff had already gathered all of the decorations and gifts together into one area so that we could just come pick them up and be on our way. Thank you so much everyone at HVCC, we could not have made a better choice!!! :)

Beautiful decor, Christmas decorations and centerpieces. Buffet luncheon was delicious. Food was comparable to a 4 star restaurant.

My husband and I recently got married here and it was a very nice experience. Over the course of several months, the staff was very friendly and pleasant to work with, and were always very quick to get back to me when I had questions. On the day of the weddings, everything was set up exactly like I wanted it to be, we were lucky to have a beautiful day to be able to enjoy the spectacular view and we got nothing but positive feed back from our guests about how good the food was.My only complaint is from the weekend of the wedding. The coordinator was a little bit hard to get a hold of. On the morning of the wedding, I tried to call her to get help bringing in decorations and let her know how I wanted things set but I only had her office number, and she wasnt in the office. I ended up bringing everything in myself and setting up a sample table for her to use, and I ended up being late to my salon appointment. However, this was just a small bump in the road and not enough to sully my opinion of this establishment as a whole.

Literally would give them 0 stars if it was an option. Screwed us over on our wedding venue and now we have to find another venue within a month. Do not suggest going here for a wedding ever.

If you use address to get directions Google maps will take you the wrong way. Nice establishment, signs could be improved.

My favorite place for golf, Sunday brunch and outdoor events in Roanoke. Truly a hidden gem.

Hidden Valley is the perfect balance of location and family-friendly. For the price, location and the amenities, there isnt a better option in town.
