We had a good time, good service, though we did not try the food their cocktails were delicious....

The new outdoor seating arrangement works pretty well. I am not a fan of the cars trying to drown everything out, but Im not sure what the club could do about that. Also maybe some softer chairs. That being said, the drinks were good, and so were the performers. My friends and I laughed, drank, and had no complaints with either.

I had such a good time here! Because of COVID, theyre having shows outside, with the audience wearing Bluetooth headphones. The comedian talks into the mic and its so great!! The food is good, drinks are great, and it was SO MUCH FUN!!!

Well I was invited to go and I drove 3 and half hours to attend and I would do it again It was very good.I did get a little emotional ibut that was to be expected. Terry Moore and his brother Khiry Malik were truly AMAZING. I loved the poem Terry said about his mother.s black smile .I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO ALL TO ATTEND A SHOW OF SPOKEN WORD. I THANK THE MOORE BROTHERS FOR A WONDERFUL INTERESTING EVENING. I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING THEM AGAIN. My daughter and her boyfriend enjoyed it as well.

Laugh unlimited found a way to keep comedy alive. Outdoors headsets different but totally awesome! A new experience!

Due to Covid, we had to be outside, but that didnt stop My wife and I from having a great time! All Comedians were so awesome and funny and service was good Since they had to cut down on employees there was one 1 cook which caused really long wait times for food, but of course that wasnt there fault and they did the best they could. Props to the cook for his single handed hard work! We are definitely coming back soon!

This is a cute comedy club. I wasnt too thrilled that they didnt validate my parking, not sure if that is a rule or if I was unlucky, but otherwise its a cool establishment. The seating arrangement is chill, they have a full bar and the sound quality is good. The bathrooms were tidy. It was well decorated and standard for a comedy club- signed photographs and poster of comedians. I was not letdown.

My husband and I have been to the live music a few times. The drinks are great. Love the band on Saturday nights. We actually were hanging out and the bartender gave us some free tickets to a comedy show. We called ahead of time to reserve seats and good thing too. The comedy show was pretty packed. The food they served was decent. And the twin brothers were hilarious. Would definitely come again

My 1st visit was to see two brothers that were comedians. .sorry cant remember their names but they were very funny. We had drinks while we waited. Then once inside we had more drinks and a huge order of nachos that were very good. Table service was a little slow at first, but then seemed to flow well. We even had the opportunity to meet the comedians afterwards and take photos with them. It was a fun evening.

A++ for the comedy, location and overall experience. On the other hand THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE!! If youre trying to make it a night out either go to dinner before you go to the show or go out to eat after. Simply order your 2 drink minimum, laugh and go home. Do not eat there!

I have the greatest experience here all the time. This night alone was great fun and amazing, I had a blast. Even though I sat right in front and became the center of the room and attention it was an amazing time.

Went for a birthday. None of 3 were funny. I prefer punchline.

The club was just remodeled and reopened. The decor is rustic and fun. The cover charge for the show was 15.00, which seemed a little pricy for a two hour open mic night. I ordered a piece of turtle pie, 5.00, and got a tiny round pielet, kinda looked like a Jack in the Box dessert. I ordered an 8.00 mixed drink that tasted kinda nasty. The explanation was that the tubes and pipes were new, so everything tasted like plastic.That being said, the comedy show was pretty darn funny. Im sure that the club will get dialed in, the lines will be flushed, etc. I look forward to going back and checking it out again.

Hilarious good price but 2 drink more than minimum?

Me and my wife did enjoy Laughs Unlimited very much, at least the entertainment portion. When we bought our tickets they were told there was a two-drink minimum to which we had no problem. My wife went in and sat down and I ordered two drinks at the bar. On my way back to our table the server stopped me and let me know that those two drinks dont count towards our minimum. She said only drinks purchased from the servers in the entertainment Lounge count. Very disappointing that a business would act this way. So just a heads up, if you go be aware any drinks you buy at the bar do not count towards your minimum.

Dry comedy. They tried but I was trying not to fall asleep. Food was...Gas station food would have been preferred. Beer bratwurst with coleslaw ended up being 2 cold centered dogs with romaine leaf as the bun and slices of romano tomato wedged in and mustard served on the side. No coleslaw. Chips and salsa were the picanto bottle salsa with mission round tortilla chips feel. Overall paid 10 for parking and it was an eh night. Oh and dont move the mans chairs an inch tofind a place to sit. Must ask where to sit and have them move the chairs to sit. Not very clear about that until you get scolded. The waitresses were nice though so I added a star. Maybe a bad night?

Comedians are great, but the bartender kept telling me one moment for 15 minutes without ever getting around to serving me. Maybe pay attention to someone other than pretty women? Worst service Ive had at a bar in Sacramento. I note the owner has now responded to this review to the tune of the bartender was busy with the servers. But the night I was there, the back room wasnt even open and there wasnt table service, so that wasnt the issue (Im also well aware of how bars work and would not have missed load due to servers). Yeah, this was just straight-up bad service. Fix the problem instead of making excuses.

We went to see TMO (Terry Moore, poet & author, ect.) it was my first time there and wont be my last!! Hes and all performances were great! The abiance and atmosphere was amazing! Visit, its cool!

Was what you expect from a comedy club atmosphere. Audience close to stage, packet in close eachouther, and sight lines were good. It does get warm with so many folks so close in proximity. Comedians were hit and miss, but the talented ones really stood out. My major complaint was our wait staff actually snapped her fingers to get our attention. While I understand she needed to get our attention in a loud environment(especially in a two drink minimum setup)....snapping fingers at customers is seriously unprofessional. That alone will keep me from returning.

It was sad to see what Laughs Unlimited has become. It is very dirty and rundown. Every surface is sticky to the touch and the bathrooms obviously get zero attention. Ladys room was filthy with overflowing trash cans and no toilet paper other than what was littering the floor. Mens room had 1/2 inch of water on the floor from an overflowing toilet. The drinks were the most expensive of all the places we visited and the comedians were angry and offensive under the guise of funny. We were a large group (17) celebrating a friends 40th and we all got up and left 30 minutes into the show. Its hard to believe this is the same place that I had so much fun at many years ago.

Saw Kristin Fisk and Insane Wayne Saturday night. Two very funny comedians! I would definitely go there again when Im in town visiting again!

We went for a special night. The comic line up was mixed a few were pretty funny, others were not. The host was painful. We will go back for a regular night

I have been to quite a few shows here over the last few years and I always have a good time. Its a smaller venue so there is a lot of interaction between the comedians and audience. The wait staff is generally pleasant to deal with but the drinks are notoriously weak and the furniture in the showroom feels like ikea furniture assembled by blind elves rejected from santas workshop. The chair legs are so loose some of the chairs actually rock back and forth. The positive part of this is that if youre early you can identify a particularly awful chair and watch a fun game of swap the chairs where each table of people that comes in swaps the terrible chair to an empty table and then you try to keep track of the chair as long as you can.

Best local place for comedy and atmosphere...Sac River is right there which makes it a great date nite location, or a fun girl nite out!! Plenty of places to grab a bite while your in Old Sac too.

They dont limit your laughs here like other places.

Was with a group of friends going out to support one of our friends who is trying to break into the comedy scene. Went to the open mic night on the first Tuesday of the month. Despite bringing people us buying drinks, paying money to support our friend, his name being on the list. THE HOSTS BUMPED HIM FROM THE SHOW ENTIRELY WITH NO WARNING. They did this to make room for one of their friends (who wasnt on the list from the beginning). It was the ultimate show of disrespect to us as customers who came to support a friend and if Laughs Unlimited continue to run shows in this manner I would advocate that anyone trying to break into comedy avoid this place like the plague. That was an absolute shame and we as customers and our friend as a comedian deserved way better than that. Shame on them.

I went here for a poetry slam contest I really enjoyed it. They have a couple of things that go on at this place that I didnt realize and its right in downtown or should I say Old Sacramento right facing the waterfront its really a small place so if you want to get good seats I will get there early unless you have VIP tickets already
