To be honest I did not have the best experience here. I was only here for a birthday get together and really only thing good was the mask safety. Spend $100.00 on a package and then have to spend $1.00 per transaction on the cards to be activated... Should have a better system for when exchanging package for rides to arcade rather than to void all cards and start over because if someone uses one of the cards you cant void to change for someone who doesnt do rides etc.I would not come back here at all to be honest and I now know why when passing it by the freeway it always looks dead is many reasons...

If you call and ask them about their events and prices they tell you one thing. But when you show up its a completely different price. Then when they hand you the paper its also different.... Couldnt be more disappointed as that super sketchy. We used to come here for the batting cages ALL the time. But with covid we havent been. Now were here and they keep saying something different. You have to pay for the time now, not by pitches? Yet their paper shows $5 is 25 points. And that pitches are 11 points. But yet you cant do that??? Soooo beyond confusing!

This place is awesome. My girls had a blast. I couldnt believe how reasonable the prices were. They need these everywhere. Its fun for the whole family. I also loved seeing how clean and sanitary they are. The roller coaster got whipped down after every ride. I really appreciated that with Covid-19. If youre ever in town, or just want something fun to do for the day, this is it. They definitely get 5 stars from me.

Ive been going here for so long and there is countless fun memories here, the only reason there id a 4 star is because the arcade machines break often besides that i would recommend this for genuine family fun

Wanted to bring my kids somewhere fun. However, they don’t allow backpacks inside because of fights. My mind just doesn’t comprehend how the things are related. My sisters purse was okay to bring in even though it’s the same size as my backpack.

It was great.. and fun. The rides were a blast with the family. However, the food sucks and the rats on the miniture golf course were a bit unsettling.

It was cool, play some air hockey. I really like that I game play some old video games it was sweet, thanks.

Its great for kids and 50 bucks should last you several hours.

We took my oldest son here for his 15th birthday. They had a blast. Very nice, and helpful staff.

We went with the family and we had a blast. The kids enjoy thevrides,the games in arcade. We got to hit some balls. Go on the go cars.

The manager was completely out of his mind With the way he was running his employees and also by his customer service given his age he should’ve had amazing customer service. It was a hot summer day people were getting frustrated with his lack of consideration or even simple ethical response.

I love Acadia I have been going there since I was a kid. Now I take my kids . We always have fun. The attractions are cool for kids and adults. The batting cages are great. The staff is friendly and it a clean environment. I recommend it to everyone .

We just stopped by real quick to ride the screamer. No wait in line to buy the tickets and no wait for the ride. The attendant at the ride was awesome. She did her very best to reassure me that it wasnt as scary as it appeared to be. It also helped when she informed us that she had to have her manager come double check our harnesses to make sure she used them correctly! Excellent service! Very impressed!

I dont believe in their requirements for the go carts and paddle bumper boats. Little ones should be able to ride with their parent no matter if they are 1/8 of an inch too short. Wt?

The rides were good, but the workers didnt enforce much on social distancing nor mask standards. The kids were over crowding the place without adult supervision. Overall left early, felt the place need more stringent standards if they are going to be open during a time like now.

Great place to bring your children. Has arcade a mini roller coaster ride and a mini race course that your kids will absolutely LOVE and want to come back for. Great location as well the parking lot is plentiful.

I will only be speaking about this establishment because each Scandia must differ. The staff were great and informative. Arcade has a great mix of new and older games (Area 51 and house of the dead2). Mini golfing was great, there was a clear path through both courses. It was my first time mini golfing ever. Prices are more than reasonable. Some folks are saying it’s a lot of money for vid games, I watched other families and it seemed to be due to children that keep asking for more credits to play games. Remember you are the adult, you are the boss, say no. My kid loved it. 10 bucks of games got us some cool playing time will definitely go back.

Good price for mini-golf. Great staff, quiet on the Sunday morning I visited.

All the cashiers handling food did not have their masks on right and not covering their noses, and no gloves on. Staff was too lowly staffed for 25 min food lines. No sanitizers anywhere. All the machines and ride on rides were not being sanitized. The next day my baby and grandkids were all sick!!!! And now im sick too throwing up and runny nose too!!! Lucky if its just a common virus, but i can see covid easily spreadible here!!! DO NOT BRING YOUR SMALL CHILDREN HERE!! DO NOT EAT NOR DRINK HERE!

Scandia Fun Center is a good place to take the littles. Its free to reserve the party room for 1.5hrs but you have to bring your own decorations and food....so we did. It worked out! Next time we have to come earlier to enjoy all the rides and activities.

Scandia has some good deals during these current times. Its still great fun at low low prices.

If I could Id have rated this place 0 stars. Complete rip-off. Spent over 200$ for a horrible time. They basically had 2 employees running about 8 rides, so youd have to wait for attendants between rides or no one was at an attraction. God forbid you get wet on their waterboats, now you cant ride attractions. No refunds. Dont wear a purse that has backpack straps, theyll force you to put it in your car in the ghetto where now you have to worry about your car getting broken into. Kid won 250 ticket jackpot, oh wait, ticket prize redeem area closed.

Very rude staff, all teens that work there including the manager. The only nice people there are 2 of the operators by the roller coaster. I even asked for water from multiple people including the manager and all either ignored me or gave me attitude and gave me the run around (my wife is pregnant and needed water in 93° weather). Very unprofessional, will not return again or even recommend my coworkers in sutter Roseville to come here.

Scandia is a classic family fun center with miniature golf, an arcade, and rides. Rides include bumper boats, go kart racers, a mousetrap style mini rollercoaster, and flying Viking ships. However, most kids favorite (at least the brave ones) is The Screamer which is like a ferris wheel on steroids. Its a lot of fun, especially on weekdays when it isnt too crowded.

I appreciate Scandia being open despite COVID-19, as it’s hard to find many fun places to go to these days. Most of the workers are friendly and helpful, and the mini golf course and some rides stay open so far. The only thing that had me take a star off was one worker who seemed annoyed that I asked her if we could go on a ride, and she said we’d have to wait—no apology or courtesy or anything...they are short staffed there, so some rides were closed, but we still at least got to go on two rides. Other than that, it was fun and made me forget for a few hours how much of a butt COVID-19 has been! My bf and I had fun there today, and we’ll be returning soon!

My husband took me for our 15 year wedding anniversary and I had a blast. So the roller coaster doesnt look like much but its amazing fun I think we went on it like 5 times on that trip. They have everything from bumper boats to go karts and two mini golf courses that are absolutely fun and a challenge. That arcade is a blast so many games for young and old I also have to give a shot out to an awesome employee who goes above and beyond I would like to say thank you for helping make our anniversary amazing, Aariona Dove, Thank You So Much Your The Bomb.

Not much to choose from for food, some equipment is in need to be retired, but staff was friendly and attentive so it was still a fun time.

Fun center should be followed by only if you’re willing to pay top dollar for games made in 2003 and Also paying to win. There’s no specials here they just make it sound good and then tell you you have to “upgrade” to actually win. This place used to be awesome to go to and have fun with the family but now it’s just becoming an extortion scheme. Garbage food Way overpriced. Don’t waste your money just go to Chuck E. Cheese or Sunsplash instead

I have been going to this location since I was little girl and now take my daughters but this place has gone downhill. They have kids working who sit around and talk. They had 1 attendant working the rides so you have to wait for them as they make rounds. In between that they keep running off to mess off with the other kids. In triple digit temperatures its unacceptable. The manager wouldnt come help but he was yelling to the attendant to make my 6 year old come out of the gate and then go back in to go down the slide again after waiting in killer heat for 30 minutes. Save your money

Ten fold compared to the Fairfield scandia!

This a whileBack. Me and the kids always have fun here. Batting cages miniature golf, a few rides, a decent game room and I cant forget about the food I got decent food there. For the most part, when me and the kids did go we always went at the lucky time even though I dont remember what time that was but usually is nobody there so free rides for us. Just joking but the guys operating the rides were so bored after we ran out of tickets after a couple of hours they let us slide on a couple of rides just due to the fact there was nobody ther.

Huge fan of the mini golf. Went with kids and good family fun at very reasonable prices. It is a bit aged but thats totally ok. Staff were great too.

This place is horribly run and extremely unorganized. We came at 6 pm in a Saturday. They only had 2 people working the golf/batting cage/snack bar area. After playing golf we won on the 18th hole....only a ticket for a free medium soda. I waited 15 min to try to get my soda and finall gave up....there were still 2 people in front of me in line...not worth it. We went over to try to do the bumper boats. 3 workers were standing around the kiosk to buy (points I later found out) to ride the attractions. My husband asked how much it was to ride the boats, one worker said 24 and another 11 for my son to ride but he didnt know how to work the kiosk. (None of the 3 workers were wearing masks). I only found out later he meant points and not 24 & 11 dollars. The place was extremely messy...trash everywhere. No one was sanitizing rides after people were done....just loading the next rider on. The prices are much more expensive than Sunsplash and its much dirtier. Horrible experience...we will never be coming back and only going to sunsplash for our funland-type outings.

Overpriced and under funned lol. For $50 bucks we got 2 people on the screamer, 1 kid on the coaster, which was a very short ride with NOBODY in line, and 2 bumper boat rides for 2 kids and THATS IT. Usually when a place is not too packed, the attendants may allow the ride to go longer or maybe run it one extra time, but NO breaks, NOT worth it. We were there for less than an hour when our $50 card ran outta points. Lame

This is by far the worst scandia out of the bunch if you have a kid who is not 48+ inches they will not be able to ride any rides even if you get on with them.

The workers do not wanna work there’s only two workers working and there’s a whole bunch of games that no workers are out and they’re sitting around talking to other workers laughing while every kid is sitting around

The course could use a little attention for repairs. We spent some time in the arcade and the games were pretty well cared for. My nephew and his friend had fun. The staff was very friendly and patient in explaining how the cards worked to my parents. They also made sure the kids understood the process respectfully.

A fun place to bring your family to.

The courses are beginner friendly. Since its right by the freeway the sounds of cars is constantly there. They have an arcade thats pretty well taken care of and batting cages.

We went on a Thursday evening. Not busy, but not everything is open either. We ended up doing the mini golf. The young lady at the counter was a bit vapid. we enjoyed ourselves dispite everything being closed and service being what it was.

During the Pandemic, I saw nobody sanitizing anything and it was dirty and they only had 1 bottle of sanitizer that squirted out everywhere.

I have to admit that it changed since I was there ten years ago. It is aiming for the teens and children and young adults. The foods are more snack based but they now have some rides and a rollercoaster!

It is a bit of a cluster when walking in, poor signage doesnt state you need to buy the fun card before going to the golf window. Also, both of the self serve kiosks were not working. We would have been able to buy a card at the kiosk, sans lines, but the one working machine didnt have a working card reader. I would go back, but earlier and with cash.

Not bad. Its no Six Flags, of course. Kids had a great time. Good selection of arcade games. The $30 Diamond Pass was worth it. Just made sure to understand that the four hours of unlimited rides starts as soon as you use the pass for anything, including golf. We used it for arcade games and golf first because the rides hadnt opened yet, and didnt get on the rides untill an hour later. So we only had three hours on the rides.The manager was great, though, and let us get on two more rides after the card expired because of the miscomunication. Overall, not bad at all. Had a great time. The go karts were perfect for my 8 year olds who arent ready for the K1 speed place yet.

How many roller coasters do you guys have at Scandia Fun Center?

Its too expensive for what it is. I really wanted to give 3.5 stars, but since that option isnt available and Im a nice person, they get 4. It is fun, but overpriced!! There are a lot of family fun places in Sac that you can have a blast at for a fraction of the cost. Eg, the Powerhouse Science Center is $60 a year for a family membership. Trampoline parks run Groupons. Rollerskating is like $15 bucks for 3 or 4 ppl. Scandia doesnt offer a membership or anything either, which is ridiculous.

Two times we got in line for counter and both time it was a long line and 5 employees standing behind the counter and only 1 actually working. Ppl were walking out because it was so rediculous to watch employees standing around playing with their badges and not working

Scandia is over priced. Plus, they refused to give us the posted price. It clearly shows 60+ at 10.59 and then theyre sorry they cant give it to you. That is illegal. Its not a misprint, its clearly posted. Then they refused to let us speak to a manager. The noise from the freeway was so loud you couldnt talk to each other on the playing course. You would think with as long as theyve been around they would have put up sound proof walls. Then they wouldnt combine the remaining points on our two childrens cards at the end of playing the arcade. They can do it, they just wouldnt do it. As stated in other reviews the course could use some attention.

Even after 20 years this place is still a blast!!

Had fun hanging out. Waited a long time to buy tickets cuz something was wrong with the machine and it would have been nice to have been advised rather than just standing there wondering. But once we got it, we had fun. Especially on the 4 player PAC man game and the California Screamer ride!

Grew up coming to this arcade and finally came back after many years away. Definitely not the same but it did give me some Nostalgia vibes so I guess thats worth at least three stars :)

This is a neat place, I was surprised at the cost though... Has plenty of games, and a huge carnival- style swing that you can pay to use. The mini golf course was in decent shape, but like I said, kinda costly for being in a sorta sketchy neighborhood. Come during the day
