The facility is awesome. I had a lot of fun here but recently the waiting time is around 2hrs. A online reservation system would be awesome for current situations. If you want to have some fun here, you are in the right place, but make sure you take that 2hrs waiting time into account and plan your visit accordingly.

Great place to get your go on. Cars are quick. There is a bit of a wait with all the covid precautions going on.

Fun place for the kids. The wait can be awhile between races but u can sit in comfy chairs and sofas and watch while u wait.

People in the building with no mask. Dogs without service dog Credentials, running around with no leash. Carts not being Disinfected. I would like to speak with the area manager.

Though I would like to give this five stars Im only able to give it 3 Stars because I wanted to bring my brand new stepdaughter and one of her friends to enjoy the night for her 12th birthday unfortunately they were unable to accommodate the two children and we had to leave this was our first time visiting k1 Speed and unfortunately we werent able to enjoy it.

It was great the family had a blast. Definitely something to do fun right now. They take safety seriously. Will be going back in a couple weeks.

Just had our middle sons birthday there and they had an awesome time. Be prepared to wait a bit, but it was worth the time. Get there early as they dont open until 530pm these days & have a mask. No mask; NO ENTRY!

Apparently reservations dont work at this place. Came in with 11 people, on time. Staff just look at you and say its an hour and a half wait. When we came back in, it was another 45 minute wait to even get instructed. Nothing was offered for the lack of organization at this place. The instructor was cool, and helped ease up the situation. Not coming back, and definitely dont recommend.

Building looks run down and all the games, pool table, cafe was off and closed. $65 each in a group package for 3 races was a little steep but they offer you a trophy and let you keep your helmet mask so now I know why. The little Mexican girl working the front desk has horrible customer service and clearly she does not know how to work under pressure. They need a smoking area outside along with some ash trays and a garbage can.

It was Halloween so they were pretty busy. It was a two an a half hour wait so a no go on this day but Ive been here before and its too fun. Cant wait to do it again.

Standing here after driving 2 hours to get here for my sons birthday Was told on the phone when I inquired, that we could come, sign in, leave to get food and by then we should be able to race. When we arrived, we were told it was a 5 hour wait to race. Asked to speak to a manager, a VERY young kid with zero customer service came to speak to me and had nothing to say but yea, sorry. I stood there listening to person after person asking for a refund because their race time was behind by hours. During a pandemic, wouldnt it make sense to take reservations so people( like us coming from the bay area) arent sitting around for 5 hours? Horrible customer service, horrible experience. Save your money and go elsewhere. This place is run by young kids and clearly they have no clue.

Called first with no answer. Showed up at 8 to race. Barely anybody there. The girl at the front desk said they were sold out. With two hours left in the night. I personally feel like she lied to me.

Favorite place to go in Sacramento. The staff was amazing and helpful . Highly recommend . Expect to wait and always call ahead.

5 stars to the place. Great customer service, the people at the front desk were awesome. The quest on the other hand were loud ghetto trash, screaming and yelling the whole time. They wouldnt keep their mask on even after being asked several times. you could tell the employees wanted to throw them out but was worried that they would cause too many problems if they did.

My cousins bought a group package for 8 people and were scheduled for a 4pm ride. It was a scheduled birthday party. When kids got there they were told that the place is backed up and they have been rescheduled tif 8pm. Then it was postponed to 9:45pm and finally they got to ride at 10:20pm. This is so unfair!!! The kids lost hours of birthday time!

The racing was fun (5 Stars)! But the young girl (Leigh) working the food part needs MORE training on dealing with the public!I can understand she was working on getting the race results done. But dont ignore me standing there! How about saying I can take your order in two minutes.It took over seven minutes to get a hot dog! Did not see her and went downstairs to get a refund when she pop up. If she cant do two jobs at the same time just do one!

Great place to be with Friends and family with healthy competition. Great staff and i cant wait to go again.

The racing aspect was fun. wait time wasn’t too bad, but I didn’t appreciate the bunny helmet dude that runs almost every race. it’s a cool flex that he’s good, but the pro status feels a little intimidating for some people.

We had a birthday party here we paid for party package it was an unorganized experience. I gave them 3 stars because the girl up front did a great job keeping place cleaned during COVID. I also thought having the guest all ride together on the track was great.

The outside should have cleaned up and could of had the food court open. But was a great place inside

Awesome place to just have fun. If you are looking for a competitive race though I suggest joining the championship they have going. Other than that its a fun place to go.

Be prepared for a long wait on the weekends. Obviously its not as fun because theres so many restrictions due to covid 19. But the young women at the front desk were super courteous. Even though they are wearing masks you can tell they are smiling underneath. I watched them handle different situations at the desk while they were handling my situation, and they stayed very calm and and professional. My kids had fun!

Took the office here for a fun afternoon of friendly competition and everyone had a great time. It is so much nicer to come here since they switched from gas to electric carts. The employees were all terrific and really helped make our group event great.

My family loves this place, I bring my best friend along two.. For 20 years we have been very competitive. YET I seem to beat him by 0.2 - 0.5 sends almost every time! HAHA

The only reason I gave this place 1 star is because I couldnt give it 0. I never review places but this place was so bad I had to. I was coming from out of town so I ordered the 3 race package online. I showed up to the Sacramento spot around 2pm and the lady up front told me there wasnt any races available until 5:30pm. She told me if I wanted a refund I would have to call the corporate office, but other than that I couldnt race until 5:30pm. So I found the corporate office number and tried calling about 10 times and still NO answer. So at this point I have no choice but to wait until 5:30 because nobody would answer my calls for a refund. So I try calling the actual store, and I’m not sure who answered, but they told me if I want to race at 5:30 that I shouldve put my name on a list to hold my spot. The lady up front did NOT tell me anything about putting my name on a list, just to come back at 5:30. So now, I have no refund, and I have to wait even longer just to race. At this point, I dont even want to race I just want my money but I’m forced to just so my money doesnt go to waste. This place is pathetic.UPDATE: I finally got someone on the phone and I told her I wanted a refund and she gave me an attitude and told me the lady to do that isnt here. I asked if I called back to the same number or if she has a different number to get ahold of her when shes in. She said yes (still giving me an attitude) and so I said okay sounds good thank you, and she HUNG UP on me. I will never come here again, they have the worst customer service in store and through corporate. This is insane.

Great place to take family for a great experience for everyone.

If you have someone who enjoys racing like I do then this is where you bring them to get the need for speed. Sometimes the wait can be long because of parties but they’re still good at turn around. You have to pay for the membership as well so make sure you have that ahead of time too.

Vary Inconsistent, Iv come to K1 speed many times and had a good time but this last time on sunday july/26/2020 around 6pm it was a terrible time. The carts were noticeably slower by 8 seconds and when I asked about it the lady behind the desk made it seem like it was my fault although multiple other drivers were wondering the same thing. She assured me they were set to regular speed. It Felt like I was driving a sunspalsh cart except 30 dollars more expensive. The next race I was kind of talking the the worker like lets go and he listen for one lapand then drastically turned it back down, dropped my lap time by 6 seconds. Like I said iv had fun there before but today they basically lied to me and wasted my money.

Nice place to ride a karting including in bad weather conditions you can enjoy it. You also have some game machines fir kids if they don’t wanna ride, you can see my pictures or video.

This place is awesome just wish the track layout wasnt so awkward for position racing but still very fun to do time trials especially in the mornings when the track is mostly empty!

This place was so much fun. The only thing I wish could be different is the time because it just goes by way too fast. A definite must check out on your own and see how much fun it really is. FYI it is all at your own risk, so be smart have fun remember there are other people are racing with you accidents do happen so be wise, careful, and respect others on the track.

Took my son here recently and it was fun! Its kinda expensive for what you get. We paid $50 a person for 3 races. Just an fyi... Each race is 12 times around the track. So for $100 for the two of us we got 36 rounds each. They do have a few games you can play while waiting on your name to be called for the next race. You also have the option to not use all your races. They give you a card a pon arrival. The only reason I dont give 5 stars, bc this place is VERY expensive. Like I said we chose the $50 plan and only got the 3 races. 12 times around a track goes fast. Like maybe 10 mins.

Fun activity, but one of the most unorganized processes ever. Each person in our group was told a race time only to not be on the race roster resulting in HOURS of waiting. Not sure Id go back.

Way too long of wait I went there twice on the weekends with my kid but could not get lucky to get in. I think they should have a little better system for the customer service.

Stood in line outside for an hour. Once we got inside, they said the next race available for our party of 4, would be in 2 hours. We ended up leaving with disappointed kids

We had a wonderful time. Online we paid a total of $50 for 6 rides for 2 people. We had a blast! Tbh the food court was super expensive & not very good. I only took videos & took a pic of the prices. Im thinking of doing my sons 14th Birthday party there.

Do not do a birthday party here! They do not accommodate you like they said they would. I normally would not leave a review for a place I havent been but their crummy service affected me negatively just the same. My friend called a month ahead to try to book a party, which they told her they do not do, but they promised her they could accommodate the size and ages of party she had planned if she just showed up with everyone. So she picked up my kids and took them along to the birthday party for her son. When she got there they said that they could not take that many people at that time and made them wait. Then they said half of the kids were too small. The place finally agreed to arrange a race for the kids they claimed were too small, and they repeatedly postponed their race time telling my friend each time it would be just a little bit longer. They were there for over 4 hours! Which made them late bringing my kids back to me, which made me late for my engagements.

3 stars because we got there at 7pm on a Friday night and it was a 3 hour wait but there was nobody in the place.

Beware the mandatory membership fee! While its only $7, taking a group of 9, that unexpected surprise on top of the $39.95 two race price suddenly jacked me up another $63, from $360 to $423.Aside from that unwelcome budget buster, the track was great and lots of fun was had by all.Maybe well all make the trip back from out of state for our free birthday race, to soften the blow.

We love this place fun atmosphere but expensive for a family. My only issue with it is how expensive it is and wish you got more time on track for the money you spend. I hope that they will offer some family discounts in the future.

I enjoy racing at K1 but if you go on a league night just now that the local racers seem to get a little more love then your average racer that doesnt really no the people running the show...Im not one to complain but when your leading the main for 14 laps and all of sudden you loose power and and your on level 3 till you get passed buy a local then have full power again and then did it again on the last lap increasing the power have fun with your K1 program ot good for familys to have fun but your leagues are ran poorly...

I had the so much fun. If I had the time, and didnt have to work so much I would be there all the time. Its more addictive then crack cocaine, and a lot more fun.

We had a corporate event at K1 Speed. The facility was completely booked for us from 7pm to 11pm. As it was my first experience with Go Kart, I loved it. No prior experience of any sort is required. Just trust yourself and the staff. These people are very helpful and you can clear your doubts at any time.Definitely a place to experience on weekends with family and friends.

Its a fun racing experience, unless you get hit. I do wish they would kick the people out who are too aggressive and ram other racers, it ruins the fun for everyone else. Including what you pay for the races, you have to pay for an annual membership for each person racing as well

Great experience, I have been twice. I loved my first time but on my second my kart didnt work properly( I will say that some karts are in way better condition than other) and for a $10-$22(depends on how many races you do)race I was really disappointed. I suggest doing 2 races, I did 3 on my second time that I went but by then it kinda lost its fun. They have fairly good safety, the barriers are really soft and the karts are close the the ground, also their is a marshal who can stop all the karts in case of a crash.

The racing was fun ( five stars) but disorganized we went racing for the teen cup and there were children not suitable for racing with bigger people as one kid was pushing everyone into the walls and being a sore loser and the stewards weren’t doing anything (edit: i was also overcharged more than what they said for an entry for a teen cup race it said 40 i ended paying 50 Dollars and i also paid for another race they told me 22 i paid 30 dollars the pricing is wrong for this place and terrible i was scammed)

It is expensive for the amount of laps you get. And I had some really rude people but that might of just been my luck. Overall if you have some money to spend on these and you dont get rude people or bring enough friends than it is a great thing.

Ive been here in the past and had a good time. I went with a group at 4PM on a Saturday, but we were turned away due to a reservation scheduled from 5:30PM to 8PM. It wasnt clear why we couldnt make use of the track before they started.Long story short: check before you attempt to drop in.

Was fun even though every fiber of my being was telling me this is unsafe lolEdit: thought I clarify that its not that it was actually unsafe but my safe driving instinct was telling me to press the brakes whenever I turn coz normally you dont feel that much swing when turning and if you do while driving a car youre going way too fast.

Fun, but need to fix the leaderboard. I was in second place, lapped some people, and was registered as 6th. Please fix, thats all.

Ive taken my 6yo daughter here twice now to learn to drive karts. The staff have all been fantastic at making her feel welcome, safe and getting her to have fun! Bring your kids and make sure you drive one yourself! Were looking to make this at least a once a month outing.

Its a step up since the RPM days, everyone was very nice, the track was in good shape, the karts are like every indoor kart track. Some are better than others and some are way better than others. I realize it cant be easy to keep all those karts tip top and i wouldve given 5 stars but even Lewis Hamilton has NO CHANCE of getting near those top times with a couple of the karts I drove, and I stand by that. But I will definitely say it was a great time everytime Ive been. I dont recommend going when its crowded. Theres only one track and youll have to wait your turn. Not fun to wait but not their fault either just how it goes.

Good experiences arent cheap, and this place is no exception. The unknown $8 annual membership fee per driver was a little over the top, and was the only negative I was unprepared for.

Nice cars and track, but the price isnt worth it. You pay $22 for one race that last about 7 to 10 minutes (there is an option for 2 races for $38) and you have to pay for a membership fee, which is $6. So overall you pay $28 for 10 minutes to ride a go kart . The upstairs menu is decently priced. They do have pool and arcade games (which average a dollar per game). Maybe if they either offered a reduced kids price or peak time purchase I would go back. But at the cost, one time is enough. Just think, you can get an all day pass to Six Flags for almost the same cost as 2 - 10 minute races here.

Amazing time and I even won the gopro they had in their key stick pokey game in the arcade. I couldnt win on the track, but Im pretty sure I would do great if I had people not blocking the fast lane the whole ride. (It was a simulator for how people drive in this city).

I’ve been to a number of K1 Speeds and this one is nice, they always have good deals and it’s a great place to go to with friends and family.

A good place to race. The track is not very wide though, making it almost impossible to pass other karts. You can spend your entire session stuck in slow traffic, which is disappointing.

It took nearly an hour of waiting before we got to race. The waiting area was dirty, with multiple broken arcade machines (including all the pool tables). All the staff seemed like they didnt want to be there, although honestly I cant blame them, with the places clientele. There are definitely things to do in Sacramento.

Really fun place! Great for going on a date or just to have fun with your friends or family. This place is definitely great when in groups of 4 or more people. Decently priced and great for competition! $6.00 for a k1 membership and $22.00 for one race, prices vary for more races. In addition to the k1 membership, as long as you have a membership you get a free race on your birthday!

Extremely fun. I would recommend it to anyone in doubt for whether to go or not. Great experience for kids and it is basically like driving. So if you went here, you could get a little of driving experience.

Over 2 hour wait for no apparent reason. Even the pizza took well over an hour. No mention of the long long wait times at the time that they take a lot of your money for a race in their slow go karts. I do not recommend!

Great for parties or single riders. All electric now so its quiet and fast.
