My family came here for fun and adventure. I have two toddlers, one who is 42 and another being 30. There were plenty of rides for them both and we all enjoyed our time ! I really enjoyed the fact that they sanitized between every set of riders, switched off sections of the ride so the seats can dry, also there was hand sanitizer at every ride! The place was really clean. Not much of a wait for the kids to get on. 5+ stars ! Would definitely come back !
We had a great time! This place is open Thursday through Sunday. We walked in on Thursday and there was still availability. I would highly recommend you reserve online before coming on the weekend. Because of COVID-19 they do have a maximum capacity limit. Everyone pays to come in except small children. They are measured by height and under 3 I believe. Adults $15, children $20, senior citizens $10. This fee gets you in the door and unlimited rides on all rides in park. After each ride the employees spray and wipe down all areas touched. You have to wear your masks while in the park but can remove to eat and if you are socially distanced. The line wait time was less than 1-3 minutes- which is great.
The kids loved this place. It’s small enough that they can walk from ride to ride without having to lose them like at big amusement parks. Staff was super friendly.
Its alright, just dont throw your kids party here if you have over 20 people. There was no manager during our visit so prices and fees where just kinda thrown out there with no actual listed prices of rates. Luckily my 3 year old enjoyed herself.
The staff was so friendly, helpful, and safe and sanitary during a time with these health concerns. We loved how they were running and working extra hard to keep the park safe and fun at the same time! Thank you to the entire crew for all of your hard work to keep the fun going for the family!
New ownership/ managment entry fee for everyone no tickets required owner is kinda disrespectful to staff not sure if well return
Not OK $65 to get in the door although you don’t have to buy tickets. There’s five Jenkee rides that only my five-year-old will be able to enjoy. Not my 12-year-old not my 15-year-old but I still have to pay $65 just to walk in the door so much for having a nice family weekend outing with all of your children. Funderland doesn’t allow you to do that anymore what happened to free admission
Fun for elementary aged children. Reasonably priced. Clean park, clean facilities. Friendly staff
Funderland is ensuring social distancing by using a reservation program that permits only enough people to make it work. In addition, the staff is constantly cleaning every ride after each use.Get your littlest ones out of the house and have some outdoor fun!The reservations come with unlimited rides & since there are so few people, if your little doesnt want to get off the ride, they just sit tight and go again!
Our family absolutely loved FUNDERLAND! It’s a first for us, but definitely not a last. Our kids enjoyed it and staff is extra helpful and kind. John was a big help with our tickets(we had an issue online) and made sure we were able to get into the park. It’s an absolute must for ages 12 and younger. Lots of FUN at FUNDERLAND!
Great time but not very pleasant or accommodating when the issue was expressed about my little cousins shorts being ruined by there sanitizing spray down each ride which is cool thanks for having supper spread but do it with less bleach and a little more drying time between riders
We LOVE funderland. The employees go above and beyond for us as customers. My kids love coming here. And i can appreciate the modifications they have put in place for our safety during these crazy times
This is a fun place but with children and parents touching everything and COVID-19 prevalent, there were no handwashing sanitizing stations anywhere to be found! Do they not follow County Ordinances, and specifically do they not care for the Publics protection? Sacramento needs to enforce this place!!
Wonderful! The staff was friendly and conscientious. Such a fun day with our God Grandchildren.
Our kids had a blast and the rides were fun for us too!
This is a fun, local spot. Before you plan your trip to Disneyland, see how your little one does on these rides.
Had a good time with lil Dave,Julie and kids for babby Davids b day.wish my babbies were there.
Perfect for families with little kids. Its more difficult to lose your kid at this location, the park is very compact. One of the rides was down for maintenance while we were there but it didnt affect the fun at all. My nephews birthday party was super fun and the staff was professional and kind. Highly recommended!
Really nice and happy employees but the park is not much.
Great place. Wonderful staff led by Bubs at the Merry go Round and Mary at concessions. Actually every worker we encountered could not have been nicer. Wasnt crowded as it was open Monday for Lincolns birthday.
I remember going here as a kid so many great memories
We absolutely love this place! loved it as a kid, a parent, and now as a grandparent. it just keeps getting better--the experience that is, while the place hasnt changed a bit in all these years i think. its nice and small, so you dont lose track of your group. its just for the little ones though--bigger kids get bored here. best part is free admission. the tickets--always one per person per ride--never expire. so purchase the tickets in bulk and hang on to those extras at the end of the day.
Super small but so fun for the kids and adults! You get to ride the rides with your children as well. I Recommend buying the wristbands which gets you unlimited rides for the entire day. You can bring your own food and drinks into Funderland but they do sell food and drinks. The staff was really really nice and informative. Im 35 and used to go to Funderland when I was small and everything is still the same. Its great I can now enjoy it with my kids. I will definitely bring them back.
Took my 4 yr old for the first time she absolutely loved it. The only downside was some of the rides werent running and they didnt have enough employees. Its a cute place but it definitely needs updating and they need to clean up the junkyard when you take the train around.
Nothing but happy kids and parents. What else is there to say except Smile!
I really enjoyed how this park was set up for the younger children. A great experience for the younger children, who cant always enjoy rides at the larger amusement parks, with their parents and grandparents. The party package was fun and made it easier for parents. Highly recommend Funderland, it was fun!
I took my 3 nieces here aged 1, 2 and 4. The 2 and 4 year old enjoyed this place alot. Obviously the 1 year old isnt old enough to enjoy any ride. But the elder kids had a lot of fun and it was a joy to see them happy. Parking is not bad. We bought the family value pack tickets and it seemed well worth it. They have a tiny snack bar too. Small but clean, fun and very well worth the money. Great to bring kids aged 2-6.
Love the place. Its great for small kids.
My daughter loved it shes 2 years old
Super fun but check their hours! They aren’t open every day during the winter! Great and friendly staff, clean and lots of rides for little kiddos (4-6 age range) and some even for my 2 year old!
This place is FANTASTIC for families and young and school age children. Its affordable and offers a huge array of attractions for the whole family. Its upbeat, efficiently operated and very clean. I highly recommend visiting if you have small kids.
The weather was perfect. The people that ran the Funderland were very helpful and very nice always very polite at the food stand. The rides were very safe there was no loose seats or anything unsafe. The kids really enjoyed the cotton candy and the face painting was a very big hit. And I most definitely will be back to Funderland again!!
Great old fashioned fun! Ive taken my daughter here since before she could walk.. and now as a teenager - she still loves to visit on her own with friends!!
Love the area, love the place! Our family used to live in Land Park and is one our favorite areas of sac. The zoo, fairytale town, and funderland! We frequent all three places, our 4 and 1 yr olds enjoy their trips to any of these places. Funderland is small and its a good thing. Easy to keep an eye on the kids, and parents.. lol the staff is welcoming and polite, small staff, maybe slightly short staffed. But they handle business like pros. 5star!!
Its a perfect little amusement park for ages 3-8. Beyond that your kids will likely be a bit bored. Each ride is 1 ticket. Tickets are $2.50 each. Plan an 1-2 hours in the park. Main downside is the bathrooms are public park bathrooms and tend to be gross. The mens bathroom yesterday didnt have a stall door for the toilet and the ground was full of puddles.
My 3 year old granddaughter had the best birthday party at funderland . The employees were so nice and helpful. Funderland is perfect for young children. The birthday party areas are clean and set up perfectly. We will definitely be going back.
Took both my sons ages 2 and 3. My 3 year old could ride all of the rides but was not tall enough for the log ride and the wagon ride. You must be 42 tall to ride those rides, regardless of whether or not you have a parent ride with you. My 2 year old could not ride the previously mentioned rides plus the dragon rollercoaster and needed to have a parent ride with him on the airplanes. With that said, they both still had a lot of fun and there were enough other rides available that I still felt I got my moneys worth. Just know that your child may not be able to ride every ride if they are under 42 inches tall.
Had a great time here! The rides were perfect the lines were short. I wanted to ride the train that went around the whole place but waited and waited for it and I guess it was stuck somewhere on the track so I wasnt able to ride that train but other than that it was fine
Toddlers can not ride without an adult, but an adult can not ride with a baby. I paid $25 to go on a merry go round.
Great small amusement park for smaller children. I think the ideal ages to enjoy the rides are 2-7. At 48 inches tall, kids can ride all of the rides by themselves. Before that, they are somewhat limited and can ride the majority of rides if accompanied by an adult. There is limited food & drink available; one food truck with really slow service. The closest drinking fountain is outside the gate between the restroom entrances. Very cute hay maze in the fall. Rides attendants are friendly.
Great for kids 2-10yr
Amazing place for kids. Staff is friendly and park is clean. Rides are kept up and perfect for little ones. Was impressed how smooth birthdays are coordinated.
This place could use a little maintenance and a few more employees. You have to ask someone to operate each ride, and they have to close another one to do so. Also the view for the little kids on the train ride could be better. The train takes you on a ride behind other rides and structures, including garbage and maintenance equipment, which obviously they arent using. I know this place has been around for many years, but even a coat of paint goes a long way.
Cool little place you can keep your eyes on your kids all the time. Needs a food food and snack cart
The employees were very kind and sweet, it was just a horribly hot day, my grandson loved the place and had the Best day ever
My 6 and 5 year olds had a blast here.
My daughter loves this place. Parking can be a pain but not going to knock them for that. Really fun place and the season pass is way worth it.
Great place for families of kids ages 2 and up. 3+ year olds would probably benefit the most out of the visit.
Fun for little ones. Food and drinks were pricey. Over all good time though
Love this place, so do my children ️
We attended Funderland for a birthday party two weekends ago. My 6 year old had a great time but I noticed most of the rides need some sort if repair. The dragon coaster was closed at one point while being worked on. I was surprised to see that instead of rebuilding the snack shack they just parked a trailer that looks like it belongs at a carnival. They also had a sign that basically said it was going to be a long wait to get your food. The rides are only one ticket but the down side is each ticket cost about 2.50!
I rode a horse (wildfire) today!Perfect day! 3 rides for $12 or 4 for $17.I also got to hang around after and love the horses and ponies. Perfect way to get that country therapy in the big city.Highly recommended.Date or family outing. Today was our 6 year wedding anniversary. The people that run it are very kind.
Nice place for the little kods
I feel like I will come back here some day and enjoy it, so I may change my review in the future, but today I was pretty disappointed. I visited with a group of friends and we all have young children. My son is 20 months old and could only ride a few rides (which is fine, it’s what I expected). We tried to ride the Carousel, but he started freaking out when I tried to put him on a horse. So I sat with him on the sleigh, which is basically a bench seat on the ride. I’d like him to have a chance to ride these rides in a way that he feels comfortable and safe, so I had no problem sitting down with him. A friend with a 2 1/2 year old had the same experience, and we both ended up in the sleigh with our children freaking out in our laps. The employee running the ride came over and told us the children need to be seated NEXT to us, not on our laps. My friend tried taking her son (who had just calmed down) off her lap and he went hysterical again- she left the ride. The employee stayed and stared at me. I tried taking my son off my lap but he clung closer to me, so I told the employee (who was still awkwardly staring at me) that I was hoping he’d let me put him down once the ride started moving. He left and I tried as promised, but he would only stand next to me and try to climb on me. When we passed the attendant, he motioned that my toddler needed to be sitting, and I tried and failed for the next few minutes to get him to sit down. I finally just sat him on my lap and avoided eye contact with the attendant the rest of the ride. The next ride we went on was the train. AFTER taking our tickets and letting us get situated, the attendant told us our toddler needed to be sitting on the seat next to us. My husband had him on this ride and had the same fight with the toddler I did. My fiends who rode the ride with us had a six month old baby and the attendant told them he needed to be seated next to them, not on their laps. They tried, the baby screamed, and they left.Okay, here are my complaints.1) Why can’t a parent hold a child on their laps???? Will someone please explain this to me??? These rides are going at .02 miles an hour. And I’m pretty sure a parents arms wrapped around them is way safer than a flailing toddler.2) Employees should be trained on how to deal with this situation. If you see a child being carried onto the ride, and especially when the child is 6 months old- assume the parents are planning on lap sitting and warn them that the baby will need to be sitting on the seat and can not be held. For that matter- the person selling the non refundable tickets should definitely warn parents of tiny children that they cannot lap sit.Even though I’m annoyed at the policies, the company is allowed to have whatever rules they want. I’m more annoyed that the situation was handled so poorly.
Great place to take small children. I’ve gone as a child myself and now take my girls. It’s a really small amusement park — the rides are perfect for toddlers and kids around 8.
Good Family weekender
Great place for birthday parties for the kids and close to zoo
The staff are wonderful. just want to thank all of them for being a wonderful set of people...thank you for a great family experience.
I havent been in a long time, but it was just as I remember. Fun little rides the kiddos can get on, nothing to extragant. But each ride was only a one ticket. And you can also enjoy pony rides as well.
Like a little mini Disneyland. My kids love it! Having a blast!!
Perfect for our 1-, 5-, 7-year-olds! It has somewhere between six and nine rides, four of which the 1-year-old can ride. The park is large enough to offer variety but small enough to let the big kids run ahead and be a little independent (especially on a weekday morning when the park isnt very busy). We bought the unlimited-ride bracelets for the big kids, which was well worth the cost.
Grandson loved it. It was his 4th birthday! Totally kid-oriented.
This place is awesome Wendy one of the workers absolutely saved us with a child melt down. Place is awesome.
A great place to take 3- 5 year olds it really does wear them out!Nap time.
I loved it the food is very gross but the rides are really fun kids loved it ...always go in the mornings its the best and you can find parking ...
This Place can get really expensive if you buy your tickets instead of the all access pass, which is around 20$. My daughter is a tall 2 ¹/² year old but she couldnt get on all the rides, she could only ride the merry go round, tea cups, and train, but the train is small and you half to accompanying smaller children, Im not a huge mom but my knees were getting smashed up. Also they will charge you [the parent] to ride some rides if your child needs a guardian to accompany then, even if they have a wristband on. For the price youll end up playin you might as well go to zoo across the street.
Good place to take the kids to run around for a hour or two.
Nice place to take 2-4year olds. Staff very friendly!
Small kids theme park. There are 8 different rides including carousel, roller coaster and spinning tea cups. One ride is for under 42, others need child to be over 42 to ride alone. Carousel didnt require ticket for parent to stand next to child. Others did. Recently renovated, looks nice and clean. Two rides closed due to repair (train and tea cups).
Take a lot of kid rides and the tickets are pretty cheap fun time all day and have birthday parties there too
We went because my mom had won tickets for 4 people. But if we had to pay, the cost seems a bit extreme for what the park actually is. They had a few rides not working and it was very short staffed. If you wanted to get on a ride we had to stand in line until an employee, who was attending another rides, came over to open the ride for us. There was only 6 rides functioning and the cost for the bracelet was $20 per person. You can only do so much with 6 rides.
I would give it a 1 but I understand that people are not going there so cant afford to maintain this place nice and it is hidden. Not many options of food. Havent tried the food yet but my experience there was still great. Its more for kids than a family place. I had great service and would come again but for my sibilings. They also dont have many employees but they were really nice.
NICE LITTLE PLACE TO TAKE KIDDOS AND AFFORDABLE!
Threw my sons bday party.. had a great time... kids aging 2 to 10 loved it! Awesome party area covered and shaded...
Funderland was great my wife and I took our grand daughter which unfortunately we dont get the opportunity to spend much quality time with her as we would like to however she had the time of her. Now as far as the Sac zoo is concerned a total RIP OFF
Decent rides but my whole family got really sick from their food truck. As the only food in the park, we spent $32 on 3 corn dogs, 1 nachos, 1 cotton candy, 1 pretzel and 1 $6.99 coke with $1.09 refills. All the food is cooked fresh so we had to wait a good 10-15 mins, with 3 kids this was not easy. It tasted decent and we enjoyed the rest of our trip to funderland on Sunday. However, that night our 1yo had explosive diarrhea that escaped the diaper. Our 4 and 5 yo complained of upset stomachs on Monday (they barely ate their food on Sunday). On Tuesday night my wife threw up twice and had diarrhea but was well enough to go to work the next day. I ended up going home sick Wednesday after vomiting in my cubicle. I spent the next several hours with the virus coming out of both ends until I called the hospital advice nurse and got a GI prescription. By the 3rd day I am now able to have a normal bm and keep solid food down. Word of advice: Do not eat at their food truck!
Me and my Auntie had a great day out and even better bite to eat at Macys Cafe on 1st floor
I hadnt been to Funderland in so long it was awesome. It was a little crowded but we still had fun! The tickets are a little pricey but theres no admission cost and the tickets never expire! Well definitely be returning.
Great place for little kids
